Deck Cleaning reviews in Lawrenceville

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Dixon did a great job installing the siding. They showed up on time and did everything they promised. Dixon started the job with the crew, inspected during the work, and did a final inspection before we made final payment to make sure the job was right and we were happy with what had been done. They cleaned up everyday and it looks like no one was even here. They also painted our home after the siding and their attention to detail is great. I would highly recommend Dixon Painting for siding and painting.

  • Great! Came at the agreed upon time for both services. Did an excellent job. Cleaned up the debris blown into the yard AND onto the rear deck. Price shown below was to ONE service but I bought 2 at the same time.

  • There was a bit of miscommunication at first but when I finally heard from them, it appeared that I had to provide them with pictures of my deck and measurements before they would actually schedule an appointment. This was a problem since I was recovering from a medical issue (I have never had a home services company require me to provide them with documents before they would perform the service that I had already purchased). When I was finally able to provide the information to them, they provided me with an estimate of how much additional it would cost based on the size of my deck and if I require stain. We settled on the price and they scheduled the date to clean the deck. The deck was cleaned on a Saturday but it was over a week before they could seal the deck (partially due to the weather). The actually day that they were scheduled to seal the deck, the serviceman arrived several hours later than originally scheduled (again due to the weather) but failed to call me and inform me that he would be delayed. The company did an excellent job cleaning and staining though they did not replace my table and chairs on to the deck. I am not able at this time to carry such heavy items. As I live alone, it is an issue to get someone here to replace my deck furniture.

  • Luis and his crew did an excellent job.  They were on time and the work was done exceptionally.  We have previously used them to roof our house and to pressure wash and stain the deck.  Each time we have been very pleased with the work.

  • Definitely worth every penny spent! Great guys, great work and amazing results. They made sure I was completely happy before they left and always were very courteous of our wishes. I would definitely use them again and have already told all of friends about them.

  • I am so pleased with the results. I had to reschedule the original work date and Kirk was very accommodating.  Everything looks wonderful, and I am once again enjoying my screened porch. An important thing they did was to warn and advise me about what to do at windows and doors. A previous company hadn't said anything and I had water issues at many windows. I had no water issues this time. A mold and mildew inhibitor was used, so I'll see how that works.
It was a pleasure to deal with these guys, and I will get them again, and recommend them to anyone.

  • erI pulled all permit requirements myself.  Jason Anderson, acting as Contractor, send over two sub-contractors that starting the demo work and pouring footings for the deck extension.  I then called in my first inspection for footings and soil erosion test.  I informed Jason Anderson that inspectors could not get out right away and hold off on any construction.  While I was at work, the same sub-contractors came out and almost finished the entire deck extension without any inspections completed.  A few days later, Gwinnett County inspector FAILED the footings inspection, which I informed Jason both verbally and by text. I was instructed by Gwinnett County permit office because the deck was already constructed, I had to use one of the preferred engineering companies to come on site and inspect the footings,, again, charging me an extra $150.00 and a letter was issued to the Gwinnett County permit office, this apparently serves proof that an independent engineer gave the footings a go to meet code.  I also informed Jason Anderson that the railings seemed very low.  I called in my next Gwinnett County inspection and again the deck had failed in several areas:  ( I quote directly from Gwinnett County Red Tag Warning notice)  " Framing does not meet deck code, Guard rail posts not allowed to be notched.  Band joists not properly installed, 6 X 6 collums not installed properly.  I was furious.  I asked to have Jason Anderson meet me at my home and go over this with him.  it took another 1.5 weeks for him to finally come out to my home and reviewed the POOR job his sub-contractors did.  He informed me they were fired and I got in writing how to correct the code violations signed by both me and Jason Anderson with a deadline to correct date of 3-18-16.  On 3-16-16, two other sub-contractors began to correct the code violations.  They did not finish and said they would be back in the next morning.  They did not come back until Sunday 3:30 pm 3-20-16.  The subcontractors said they have run out of supplies and darkness caused them to Not finish.  Again, These subcontractors said they would be back Monday - 3-21-16 to finish and clean up the deck and backyard area with several remaining wood pieces.  Today is 3-22-16 and we have not seen any subcontractors.  I have text Jason Anderson and called him several times and he will not return my calls.
Throughout this order - Jason Anderson has NOT returned calls or texts in a timely professional Manner.

  • They scheduled us for a Tuesday a week or so out, but then texted us over the weekend to see if they could move us up to the first thing on Tuesday at 8:00 AM.  We agreed, and they showed up on-time, cleaned the gutters (seriously, trees growing in there), and used a leaf blower to clean off my porch and driveway.  They were professional, polite, and stuck to the price they quoted.  We asked about a price to install gutter guards, and they provided a price later that day via email.  Couldn't be happier.

  • Jason was right on time for our estimate appointment. He walked around the house with me, answered all of my questions, and provided a detailed plan, listing everything we discussed. His estimate was in the same range as three other estimates, but I chose his company because he seemed knowledgeable, especially about the wood repair which was a big concern for me. Ronaldo, the crew leader, was professional and friendly. He communicated with me daily, and made sure he was completing everything in the plan. The crew left my home and yard clean everyday. The whole job from start to finish took 5 days. As hard as I looked, I only found the need for one minor touch up. The guys came out within three days, and completed the job. The work comes with a 5 year warranty. I'm not sure if that is the norm, but it gave me some extra peace of mind.

  • I purchased the Angie's Deal to pressure wash and seal our deck.  After several attempts to get a date, they finally said they would be out on June 3 a full 6 weeks after the purchase.  They finally did come on June 3 and did a poor job in pressure washing the deck.  Somebody was supposed to contact me and come back to seal the deck once it had dried.  Unfortunately, nobody ever came back after requests by both me and Angie's List to finish the job.  I have now hired another contractor to finish the work they started.  I really wanted to get the deck cleaned for the summer and to date, we have not been able to use the back deck due to its unfinished condition.  Bottom line it was a waste of $199.00 and now I have to pay somebody else to finish job this for me.  This was a bad experience from start to finish and I would not recommend them.
