Earlier this year, my sister and I hired Shawn Belcher to clear our lot, with an "accessible driveway," on Gumlog Grove Rd in Lavonia, Ga. We told him from day (1) that the lot was high in elevation and that he needed to level the driveway enough so vehicles can easily get in and out. (He came to inspect the lot and said, "no problem.") "HE DID NOT!" My sister can't even get up the driveway in her pick-up truck. "NO VEHICLES CAN GET UP THAT DRIVEWAY!" The site area that he cleared for the home isn't even level. My sister called him and texted him several times with no reply!! Now, we're going to have to hire someone else, and pay more money, to get the job done right. It really angers us when people won't do their jobs and do them right!! Shame on you, Shawn Belcher!!!

All South worked excellent with the insurance company through out the processed. They were very professional and were there working when they said they would be. They returned phone calls with in the day or next. The work they did turned out beautiful and help us sell are home for $11,500 more than asking price with 5 offers!!!! This is the second time I have used All South and have referred them to other friends and they have used them also with the same results very satisfied!!!

Fantastic service. Mike and his team are always thorough and professional. On the few times we have had to call them out of cycle, they responded promptly. Very friendly team and they do a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

I am a new customer to this company and was very pleased with my first experience.  A very responsive service provider.  I called to get a gas delivery and they showed up the same day.  Later that week, I noticed I had a small leak in the tank.  They came out within 30 minutes of me calling and repaired the problem.  Very pleased with their customer service.

Sadly, the closet your shop contracted to make for my laundry did not come out as I wanted it  As an ignorant customer, I did not know all the horrors that were waiting for me.
    1.  The closet was not accurately measured, so the wall did not get moved quite far enough back.  If the wall had been built only one inch further back, all would have been fine.  Result: the washer and dryer stack had to be moved to the side to clear the door.
    2.  Your people "installed" the washer and dryer.  They neglected to remove the packing bolts, and I did not know this, so the unit walked when I first tried to use it, voiding part of the warranty and causing a service call ($149 paid).  APSCO people had to come out and remove the shipping bolts, re-level the machines, and repair the stack unit.
    3.  The rubber feet on the bottom of the legs of the washer were damaged (two were torn badly and cannot be used) when your people did the installation.  They will have to be replaced by APSCO and still have not come in.  Replacement cost and installation cost not know yet.
    4.  When the machine was used the first time, the movement (caused by your [people not removing the packing bolts) tore the flexible dryer exhaust pipe out of the wall, not only tearing the pipe in half but ripping some of the drywall out.  This exposed the improper connection between the flexible pipe and the solid pipe inside the wall.  Another repairman was called to replace the vent.  He showed me that the vent pipe your people put inside the wall had been squashed to fit between the wall boards. The repair person had to refit the drywall using a bulge so the pipe would fit without being squashed.
    5.  We also discovered that the vent stack in the attic was no longer connected to the exhaust port in the side of the roof, but was lying loose in the attic at the point where it should have been connected with the outside vent.  The dryer would have been venting into the attic if I had not needed to repair it for other reasons (above).   This problem either existed before your people were here, in which case it should have been noted and fixed, or it came loose when they moved the lower part of the stack and was not reconnected.
Vent and Stack repair costs $185.00
    6.  The APSCO people noted that leveling the machines was made harder because the floor was so uneven.  Your crew had to chip out some of the concrete floor to move plumbing, and when the hole was refilled with concrete, it was left very uneven and rough.  Also, a section of the old vinyl flooring was left in the closet and is now under one foot of the washer, so I can no longer pull it out.  It should have been removed before the washer was put in there.  The flooring contributes to the problem of getting the machines leveled.
    7.  Punctuality = F.  People did not show up when promised on 3 separate occasions, citing truck breakdowns twice and out-of-town visitors,  The job was supposed to be completed before New Year.  It took several days more.
    8.  Equipment:  They were not equipped to handle what they took on.  A jackhammer was needed.  On the first day of the work, they discovered that they needed to move plumbing under the floor slab.  This should not have been a surprise to them, as even I (the ignorant homeowner) suggested that this was likely.  They did not have one with them, and when they went to rent one, discovered thqat they did not even have a credit card with which to rent one. I had to go to Home Depot with then and rent the jackhammer.  (Rental cost $49).
    9.  The installers argued with me over the placement of electric outlets.  They agreed to move one of the outlets but not the other.  Later workmen from another company called in to correct the work discovered that the 220 dryer line was just tacked into the drywall and not even secured with drywall clips.  We discovered this because when the washer "walked" on first use, it ripped the 220 receptacle box out of the wall.
I DO NOT want any of their people here for any reason ever again for corrections, apologies, or further work they suggested they could do.

They are open 8 am to 6 pm daily and always are punctual.  They are very friendly, but be prepaired to go through a lot of paperwork, some of which is unexpected when you are filling out the contract, so call first and make sure you bring license and registrations.  They are very stringent on signing in and out, which may seem to be a hassle is actualy for our protection and probably as secure as they can make it.
There is a very nice washdown area in case you are bringing a boat from the gulf that needs a rinse.  There is also a porta-potty onsite.  They do a good job of mowing the grass, so the critters are a minimum.  I have seen snakes, and the mosquitos are hungry, so don't plan to spend a lot of time in the grassy areas.
I have not used any of their indoor storage units.

My sister called to confirm the move a few days beforehand and discovered the town name was misunderstood in the initial phone conversation(Lavonia was thougt to have been Lithonia).
However, the movers vowed to make the move for the quoted price, which was much less than the actual move should have cost!  The men arrived on time BOTH at the site of the furniture and at the destination of the furniture.  The movers used extreme care with the furniture: heavy moving blankets, bundling bolts for re-assembly, placing pieces carefully at the destination point.
The company spokesperson refused to accept more than the quoted price, saying the mistake was not the customer's.
An honest, prompt, efficient moving company is hard to find these days!

I saw Steve cutting the grass of the vacant house next door. I needed someone to cut my backyard lawn since my previous yard man had ruined my lawn. I asked him if he could cut my grass and if I liked his work, I'd need him twice a month. He seemed to know about my type of grass and said he would come back at a later date to fertilize and get it back in shape. He never did. He did a good job of cutting my grass that first time and we set a time for him to come back in two weeks. I asked him to call me first because of my work schedule - I wanted to make sure I was home when he got here so I could pay him. When he called two weeks later, I missed his call. I called him back, got his voicemail, and told him I needed to reschedule and to please call me, but he never did. He continued to cut the grass of the vacant house next door throughout the summer, but never once made the effort to walk next door and asked me if I still needed his lawn cutting service. He's not reliable and apparently doesn't need any more work.

Except for forgetting the time he was supposed to be there, I was pleased with his work. We had said 9 a.m., but he thought it was 9:30a. He did arrive at 9:30a. He was pleasant, knew what he was talking about in terms of carpet cleaning and did a good job of cleaning of my livingroom and two bedrooms. The carpets looked like new when he was done. His price was very fair. He gave me a discount because he was late. I'd definitely use his service again.
