  • Response to set up an appointment for consultation and estimate was prompt. Jared, the customer representative called before arrival and was also prompt. He walked with me throughout the house, answered questions and gave advice when asked. He was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He measured and verified the rooms to be painted and the type of paint. I received the quote within 24 hours. The specifics, supplies and labor were spelled out, and he asked if it would be okay to call in a couple of days to follow up. I was impressed that he did that rather than just calling. the quote was higher than some of the other quotes I got, but the fact that this company is bonded and insured appealed ti me. Unfortunately, shortly after we experienced some family issues that caused us to put the house on the market. When I emailed the situation to Jared, he was very gracious. They do work in Kennesaw, where we live, and I will certainly give them a call if the need arises for painting.

  • Lopez Painting painting did an amazing job painting the exterior of our home. It is very hard to rely on companies now a day but Lopez Painting is a company you can rely on. They went above in beyond on things that were not described on the quote. For example all my windows were cleaned after completion of the job. My wife and I were very pleased with the service they provided. If you ever need any painting done, I highly recommend Lopez Painting.

  • Bear Mountain Painting is top notch in customer service! From the initial estimate to the completed renovation, our satisfaction was their priority. We were unable to be onsite but the repairs and updates to our home were handled seamlessly. The job summaries were clearly outlined and the proposal/estimate was exactly as shown. If additional repairs were needed, they contacted us immediately and we discussed the options and price. There were no hidden surprises at the end of the job. Rob and Sonja were a pleasure to work with and each email/phone call received an immediate response. Jeff, Dan and the crew were amazing. The job was handled with efficiency and quality work. We are thrilled at the transformation of our home after the rotten wood replacement, pressure-washing and painting. And the final clean-up? The crew left the site in better condition than before the job started. It was absolutely beautiful. Not one nail, scrap of trim board or even a slip of paper was found. We will be repeat customers of Bear Mountain Painting and highly recommend their services. You will be pleased with their professionalism, attention to detail, and standard of excellence.

  • Antonio (owner) was very professional.  He replaced some wood and did exterior painting.  Excellent job on both.  Turned out better than we could have imagined.  He has quite an eye for detail.

Antonio (owner) was very professional.  He replaced some wood and did exterior painting.  Excellent on both.  Turned out better than we could have imagined.  He has quite an eye for detail.  His employees are very professional and gentlemen.  You can't seem to find that this day and age.  Very, very good job!

  • When we saw the excellent work they had performed for some relatives & friends, we knew that W & JR painting took pride in their work.  William is the owner/contact person.  He came out immediately to give us an estimate, and was eager to make us satisfied customers.  All requests we made were met without hesitation.  William himself painted our front door to look as if it was mahogany, and it looks beautiful.  His employees are dedicated to performing the best job possible.  Without hesitation, we will use W & JR Painting again, and highly recommend them.

  • Rob was great to work with! He was prompt with the initial visit for an estimate and once the work was agreed upon. They did a fantastic job of keeping me updated on weather delays and the time schedule changes. They did everything from pressure washing the house to any minor repairs that needed to be completed during the process (replacing some siding pieces, etc.) and were meticulous in the job as well as the clean up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting their house painted! They were a joy to work with every step of the way!

  • Delay after delay, Job took twice as long as projected. Terrible paint job.

First crew would not start due to dispute over subcontract pricing. During project removed crew several times to go to other jobs.

Owner would not return calls and foreman was seldom on job site. After siding installed, exterior painting was terrible. Siding Doctor obviously was using a new painting subcontractor. Two coats of painting was contracted for and only one applied. Shrubs destroyed in process of painting. Paint splatter on driveway and screened porch. No sanding of deck rails as contracted for. A miserable job and miserable experience.

Threated law suit resulted in reduced payment.

  • Work was to be completed by Thanksgiving. Carpentry completed in a timely manner, but painting was constantly delayed--exterior due to weather (unavoidable), interior due to other (presumably larger) jobs taking longer than expected. Exterior prep work and painting began on November 14. Interior painting was initially scheduled to begin on November 4, but was bumped to the 14th . . . then the 18th . . . then the 21st. When their last-scheduled start on December 2 turned into yet another no-show, we advised Mr. Cummings to just concentrate on finishing the outside of the house and we'd hire another company to paint the inside. Exterior painting was finally completed on December 17. "Cleanup" had its own issues: not all trash was hauled away, ground cover was trampled (and one landscape light was broken), furniture from an upper deck was left stacked in the yard instead of being returned to its proper place, unused supplies we had paid for disappeared, and Mr. Cummings never showed up for a final walkaround and review of his crew's work. Bottom line--although we're satisfied with the carpentry work and the exterior paint looks fine, service was unreliable at best and we simply cannot recommend them.

  • We received a detailed estimate in the spring, and were scheduled for August. We had a lot of rain in August and our date was moved back a week. They kept in touch with us. The crew was very professional and covered all of our shrubs. They spent one day doing the pressure washing and masking off the trim, then completed the painting the next day,

  • I should note this is the third time I have employed this company. They previously painted the exterior and later the interior at my old house, and once we purchased a six year old house that needed paint they were my first call.  I did compare pricing with my neighbors who used two other contractors, and as David's quote was right in line I chose to go with him based on past experience.
Weather has been a challenge in our area, so while we wanted to get moving we also realized it might be a couple of weeks.  To my surprise, they contacted me very quickly and noted they had a window of time and wanted to get started.  The total project took three days.  Saturday was pressure washing day, and they then did the prep/wood repair/priming/painting on Monday and Tuesday.
From a prep and prepare standpoint, they not only fixed the observed wood rot but they also found another board on the back of my chimney they felt needed replaced and they fixed that one at no additional cost.  I also like that they used hardiplank on the trim more wood rot!
Caulking was first class.  I know from my old house the quality was there as when I sold it six years after painting my Realtor couldn't believe it had been painted that many years ago as the caulk and paint was in such great shape.
Regarding paint, all was done using Sherwin Williams Super Paint.  We liked the color of the house, and David took one of the pieces of siding and trim and did a custom match.  We wanted just a shade darker, and he suggested having it matched and then mixed at "125% strength".  The color was absolutely perfect.  I also like that David prefers to use a satin paint on the siding.  It has a slight sheen to it (which I like), but more importantly it lasts longer and stays looking great longer than flat.  I also know this to be the case from my old house.
The crew that was onsite was excellent and I am very pleased with the quality.  I have a stained front door and was not planning on them doing anything there, but they suggested it would benefit from a clear poly sealer being applied.  They did that as well and it looks great.  They went around the house several times looking for touch up opportunities and I think I only found one or two areas for them to fix, and even those were nits.  The little touches make the difference, and one of those was them pulling all the decorative hardware off my garage door and repainting that before it was reinstalled.  That may be standard, but I didn't expect it.  I also have a lot of decorative trim on a large front porch and they did a fantastic job on a very tedious piece of work.
I also had some wood shutters that were in pretty bad shape with paint peeling.  They stripped them down, resealed them with primer, and then repainted them.  They now look fantastic.
Finally, they did a great job cleaning up and hauling away everything.  They even swept the sidewalk when done.
In another year or two I plan to do some interior painting and you can bet who I will be hiring.
