    He seemed to be a nice enough person. I paid $15,000 and it didn?t even last me a year. I am not sure have to grade this because originally when it messed up they said I had to wait at least 120 to see if it would correct itself, get better, linger down or whatever. Originally, they said it would be 2 weeks, then they said 6 weeks, then they said it would be 120 days. I was like well, by 4 months I should see the swelling going down, the redness or whatever. Which it did finally after about 6 weeks, the redness started going away, but it was still there. The swelling didn?t totally go away, but he knew he was going to have to redo the surgery because it was lumpy. I had gone back to him in-between for him to check and it was lumpy underneath my chin. I was like, ?you know it shouldn?t be like that, it wasn?t like that before. My chin was smooth!? 

    Anyway, it was like 9 months when I went back. There was at least 6 weeks in-between and the last time there was only 4 weeks in-between from the second surgery when there was skin hanging over. I was like, ?oh no, this isn?t right!? There was a big scar there and there was a big flap. He said, ?are you rolling in the bed??  The skin lapped over, it was because of the bandages. I couldn?t say it because I had bandages all over my face. When he redid it, it was a different anesthesiologist now. When I woke up, I was actually gasping for breath, I could not get my breathe. Apparently, they said my blood pressure had gone up and they had to do something or whatever. 

    I don?t know what they all did, but I know that it scared me so much that I say to my daughter, that I would not go back and have them fix it because it?s no better. As a matter of fact, it?s worse and I felt like I was dying. I couldn?t catch my breath and the anesthesiologist said to me, ?you are going to be fine, just calm down and breathe!? I was like, ?oh, my god!? I just kept thinking please let me get through this so I can slap this guy in the face. My daughter wasn?t real happy because when she first saw me she said, ?oh my god, what the h*ll have you done to my mother?? 

    That was like in the first year. He said it might get better, it should get better, that skin that went over. He said just give it time to heal. I was supposed to go back in January. I was like, I?m not going back because I?m not going to have them do anything more, he scared me. The guy said it would only take him an hour to fix it. I?m thinking that is fast work to repair that. He said it was because I was only under for a short time, and that is what caused me to have the reaction. I just don?t know what they are doing and I?ve got to depend on them. My daughter wasn?t actually in the room with us. 

    Would I do it again? No! Especially for the money I had to put out. I know there are other plastic surgeons and they don?t charge that much. He did even give me his cell phone number. The office wasn?t warm, it was a very clinical type of place, it didn?t make you warm and fuzzy. It was worse than being in a hospital. It felt very empty, very cold. When I go into the hospital, at least you feel a little comforted by the nurses. The building itself, the atmosphere, the environment just didn?t make me feel comfortable. He had a great bedside manner, he could have talked me into selling light bulbs. I really didn?t think he gave enough information or explained everything. He did give discounts if you paid in cash, but when I thought about it, I kind of felt like it was under the table the way it was presented. Like he wasn?t reporting his money.

    He is my daughter's primary care Doctor. He is a regular Doctor. He cares about his patients. He is great, and companionate. Overall, I am grading him an A, am also going to use him in the future.

    I can't imagine a better doctor! I have been using Dr. Byars for over 15 years, and I have never had a bad experience. In his field, it is easy for women to sit in the waiting room for hours, but that has never been the case with him. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him.

    We like Dr. Bryant very much. Our experience with him has been fantastic. He's very good. He knows what he is doing. Had I gone to an older doctor when I tore my toe nail off I probably would have lost my toe. My insurance didn't want to pay and I sat down and wrote a letter and told them that had I gone to an older doctor instead of a younger doctor who had all the updated experience. Whenever he took my bandage off my toe was all crinkled and black I thought I had gangrene. He got everything cleared up in no time. My insurance paid the bill after I wrote them a letter. His staff is very efficient and friendly.
