  • Larry came out, looked at a botched job which was recent done by someone else. He took on the job of demolishing the previous job and starting installation. The work was started immediately and on time. We were extremely happy with the finished product, his team of employees were courteous and cleaned up daily. Larry assured us his people were trustworthy, so they were allowed to let themselves is and lock up daily. We will definitely work with Dynamic Finishing again.

  • We hired Larry to remove a one piece shower unit and use the complete space to build an enlarged walk-in shower. We purchased the tile and Larry supplied the Schluter waterproof system. He also tiled the floor for bathroom and provided and installed the fan. We also replaced the toilets for 2 bathrooms with ADA toilets which Larry installed. He also painted entire bath. We also had issue with how our plumbing was routed and he fixed that problem. We can not say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Larry. He went over and beyond what most craftsmen would have done. When we got to the last few days the original floor and wall tile did not arrive from the store where we ordered it and Larry helped us find a beautiful replacement. Larry kept us informed on every detail so that we were extremely confident and pleased with the end result. He is truly a master at what he does and we will definitely use Larry for our next project!

  • BHR is an excellent company. They show up on time and do an outstanding job every time. We have used them several times over the past 4 years and their work is always consistent and done according to my expectations. The owner stands behind his work. He comes in and works right along side his guys. His workers are polite and work hard. They come early and stay late. I would recommend them to others who need home repairs or renovations. I have never had any problems with their work. I will definitely use them again and I am already making plans for BHR to do some more remodeling for me in the near future.

  • Randy was very personable, and professional, and worked non-stop for the entire two hours of time that I purchased through Angie's List.  He installed the levered door knobs and dead bolts with ease, despite one very unruly door.  I was very satisfied with all of his work.  I will definitely use this company again for my "Handyman" needs.

  • Tres is the most professional and reasonable contractor I've encountered. While other contractors ignored my inquiries because the job was small, Tres called me within 48 hours. He was able to schedule the work right away and came in at less than half the price of another contractor in the area. I will hire Tres again in a heartbeat.

  • From initial meeting with Allen, I was impressed with his genuineness and professionalism.  Always on time and did excellent work.  His word is good; he does what he says he will do and even went above and beyond in some cases. We felt very comfortable with him in our home, even when we weren't there.  Easy, smooth experience for a home remodel. I would definitely use Allen again and highly recommend him!

  • It went extremely well. Mr. Rupprecht responded in a prompt manner to our initial call. He arrived for an appointment at the exact time promised. He was friendly and explained everything he was doing and why. He did not charge a and quot;trip chargeand quot; and we paid exactly what he estimated for the work. We will definitely use him again and recommend him highly.

  • I would recommend that if you were in the need for a remodel or renovation that you consider Brian's Installations.
We remodeled three bathrooms and had to replace the upstairs subfloor due to settling issues after 30 years. Brian and his crew were selected after meeting with six other contractors. They were the ones who came in closest to our budget. We needed a general contractor who could remodel the bathroom as well as fix the sagging subfloor. Brian started off replacing the half bath and scheduled for a two week remodel. They had the tear out completed by the mid morning on the first day. They finished two days early and on budget. We then moved upstairs where we ripped out our  two full bathrooms. We took off for a week while they worked on the remodel. They had both bathrooms ripped out on a Saturday afternoon on the first day.  They sent us updates and  pictures throughout the time we were gone.  They were able to install most of the guest bathroom in the week we were gone.  By the time we returned, they had the new bath installed in order to use it.   It took almost a few days for them to finish  this bathroom after we returned.   There was a small inconvenience when we were trying to seal off the bathrooms. Each time we use the bathroom we are astonished at the details that Brian and his crew created.

After the guest bathroom was useable, the team proceeded to rip out the sagging old flooring and start the master bathroom renovations.   This bathroom renovation had some of its own issues.  We had to move the wall of the master bath out into the bedroom, where we added a pocket door, removed some of the old closet space.   We went from a single lavatory to a his and hers.   Brian was able to turn an old master bath which I had never used since I moved in two years prior into a place that  I love to start and end my days.    Brian's attention to detail was amazing.      The floors were never going to be level, but Brian and his team were able to make them flat so that I could go back in and install the floors myself.   He also had a brilliant idea to make two cabinets that would fit under the window, this gave us a nice place where we could sit and watch the deer in the front yard.
We had Brian make some custom cabinets for our bedrooms.   We wanted to take advantage of some of the lost space where the the roof  forms the doghouses. Brian was able to ensure that the walls and roof was properly braced, and created some beautiful cabinetry that provides us a place to store books.
Finally we asked Brian if he could give us recommendations for the stairwell.   The stairwell had the original shag carpet on it with a very small rail.   We had removed the shag carpet and found that the stairs were in good shape but did not match the bamboo flooring that we had installed.   After talking to Brian about the prices for Bamboo Treads and installation, he told us that we could get some hardwood treads and match up the stain in order to make them look similar.   He did a great job of matching up the looks and loved the work he completed.  His attention to the small details like the stair end caps really set the stairwell apart now.    The rail is now up to code in terms of height and ensuring that small kids can not get stuck between the rails.
If we saw something that needed to be touched up, we didn't like or just didn't work, we worked together to come up with a solution.  Most of the time, he would see it himself, explain the issues and remedy it.    The few times that we actually had an issue, Brian addressed that issue.   Brian was upfront about repairs, costs and solutions.   If we saw something (say a chipped mosiac tile, he would replace it.
The major issue for Brian (which is a good issue to have) is that  Brian is normally booked up for a few months with other jobs so scheduling can be an issue.   If you know that you are going to do some work, understand that this is a process. Unless you have major issues like a roof leak, you fell through the floor or the ceiling collapsed, major renovations don't just happen.   Call him up, get an estimate but allow him to suggest things that you may not have thought about.   If you consider that this is a process, renovations become much easier.   He can help guide you with many of the renovations by scheduling meetings with local manufactures, recommending grout and paint colors, suggesting granite for the area based off of colors to be used.
I am not going to say that everything was rosey all the time, but the key was that we communicated with each other and anytime anything major arose, Brian listened and we sought solutions to the problems.  A case in point was a local plumbing subcontractor that was used for this job.   He overcharged for the work and wasn't always working when on the job.   Brian called him out by saying that he was not being paid to sit around and talk.  Brian at the end of the day, if he had to use a sub or recommend someone else to work on a job, was great about ensuring that our needs were met and  that we were satisfied.
I would recommend Brian's Installations for your remodeling and repair needs.

  • It was a very pleasant experience. The work required several visits to our home and he was always punctual. He gave us an estimate and the final cost was within the estimate. He was respectful, polite and very easy to deal with and to talk to. As plans changed somewhat during the process, he was perfectly amenable to the changes. He was most agreeable to work with and we will certainly use him again for future projects.
