  • He has done all my services for over twenty years. He has done a bunch of stuff for years. Anytime I had a problem, I go to them. Tires they will replace that for no charge. Top notch too. I came to Dustin in 82, and somebody recommended him. In 84, 85 range, and I have been using him every since.

  • My air conditioner was out on my car; the compressor had frozen up. I bought parts at a car parts store and took them in to Jeff at Beacon Automotive. Besides the new compressor I took in a complete set of O-rings (for the whole system). Although he said he would not guaranty the parts I had bought, I assumed he would go through the system checking everything out as he replaced O-rings. After calling me because one of the parts I had bought was under the dashboard he told me I would owe more money. When I asked him if it was absolutely necessary that it be replaced at all, I was told “You are not going to want to do it again later”. I agreed to the additional cost thinking that I indeed did not want to pay to get my air conditioner fixed twice. So when I received a call that my car was ready I went and paid $833 and picked it up. The air conditioner did not work! My speedometer did not work. My radio did not work. I got a speedometer cable and had an AC line repaired at my own expense. So I am out $833 dollars and my AC still does not work. The last time I went in to his shop was to pick up the damaged AC compressor. He yelled at me and told me to never come back.

  • Excellent customer service.  Professional staff.  They often will let me know of any pending problems, their severity, the priority, and the implications.  There is NO pressure to have them do the work.  They would love to do the work, but understand if I have to wait or check around for pricing.  I give them my owner's maintenance schedule each time and they definitely do what is recommended.  They are prompt and good on their estimates and time frames.  They let me know if anything comes up that changes the pricing or the schedule.  I have never had a final price come in higher than the estimate.  They ROCK!

    Thanks Guys!

  • I called the team in the morning and scheduled an appointment for later that day. When I arrived I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff, and they saw my vehicle right away. The work was performed quickly, and afterward there was no high pressure, seemingly pointless/overpriced additional issues that were found as can be the case with other places. I was provided a list of different tire brands along with their corresponding installed costs as my tires are less than perfect condition, ~37k miles on them now, but it felt more as a "heads up, here's what the cost will be later on when needed" instead of a "you're going to die if you don't buy new tires today" feel. No pressure whatsoever. I would definitely return for further service and recommend them to friends/family. (side note, at the time the oil change/inspection/tire rotation was a $35 special from their webpage)

  • This was our 4th Toyota purchase and one of the smoothest sales transaction we've experienced. Larry Shuler is hands down the best car salesman we have come across. His knowledge of the vehicles, no pressure sales technique, prompt attention and professional attitude made it a pleasant experience. He kept us informed of every step along the way. Now, if they can figure out a way to get us out the door in under an hour, that would be great.

  • The heater is my truck was blowing cold air. I made an appointment with  the service department at Milton Ruben for a Monday.  I spoke with the tech and explained the problem. He told me they would have to pull out the dash to get to the issue but they should have it ready by end of day. I called around 4:30-5:00PM to check in and was told that they had to order a part from Atlanta that would not arrive until the next morning.  I was told they would call the next day to update me.  I called several times the next day to leave messages.  I finally get through to someone in the service department around 5:00PM and was told they were doing a test drive and to wait for a call in a few minutes to confirm it's ready. Half an hour goes by with no call. I called back and was told my truck was still not repaired. After 2 whole days with no vehicle they offer me a rental. 2 more days of no calls or updates from them before it's finally ready. I pick up my truck and drive it home late evening the 4th day. The next morning it's back to blowing cold air.  They finally get it repaired the next day.  One tech, Kevin, apologized for it taking so long.
I asked to speak with the service manager. I explained how I had to call everyday for an update. No one in the service department calls to update me on anything. I understand that parts have to be ordered and things happen, delays are sometimes inevitable. The manager never apologized and hardly listened to a word I said. Any mechanic can repair a mechanical problem. Customer service is what keeps customers loyal. You can bet I will not return to this dealership for any repairs or to purchase a new vehicle.

  • Excellent.  Took my car in on time.  Was completely done in 30 minutes.  Very friendly and honest about the needs of my vehicle.  Jeremiah will always tell me what repairs need done now and which can wait a little bit.  I LOVE THEM.

  • If you're a female in search of an honest, trustworthy mechanic, look no further!  Johnny and his team at Martinez Auto Repair are the most top notch mechanics I have ever met or used.  Johnny is extremely knowledgeable and I can't say enough about his integrity.  That is so hard to find these days....especially with mechanics.  I have been to see him in the past prepared to spend hundreds of dollars only to have him tell me the solution was simple and cheap.  I love him and I am SO grateful that a friend referred me to him several years ago.  He does all the work on our 2005 Yukon and our 2001 Chevy Blazer.  Superior mechanic!

  • I spoke with Bob Nelson. I was quoted a price of $95 for an AC diagnostic. When they finished the check they said my brakes, water pump, serpentine belt, and compressor (918.+ tax) needed replacing totaling over $2000.00. I questioned the findings and the prices. I was quoted a price for brakes that was inflated at $347. I wasn't told I needed my rotors replaced but this was included in the cost of the brake repair: Bob said if I didn't replace my rotors at the same time my brakes would catch on fire due to the friction. Though he said he'd do the brakes only and match the dealer price. I was told my water pump (402.00+) had a big hole in it and was leaking coolant and was almost empty. He insisted the whole was so big it was the first thing the tech saw when he put it up to do the check. I was told I needed to get the water pump repaired soon or I would ruin my engine. This was not true. I also could not figure out why they were checking my brakes and engine when I asked for an AC check. When I confronted him with the evidence from Toyota he said they weren't real technicians or got the lowest grades in the class. He said he couldn't understand how they could have missed it.

What Butler didn't know was that I had my car at the Toyota dealer for a recall repair the prior day. They checked my car with a multi-point checklist which they provided me a copy of for my records which conflicted with Butler's findings. I did not know Toyota was going to do that but I'm glad they did. They did not find any problem with my water pump and said my rotors could be rotated and didn't need replacing which was why their estimate was nearly half Butler's price. They let me look under my car and take a picture of the supposedly damaged water pump. There is pink "crust" around the water pump which is normal per the certified Master Technician who inspected my car. There was no great big leak/hole that Bob had insisted I get fixed. There was no leak/hole at all and my coolant level was just fine. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Based on my experience I have serious doubts about who is posting their reviews. All F's on every point.

  • They are quick and they are very well priced and the staff is just super-professional. They are really good. It's a fairly new business. I have already recommended them to my friends and family members. I have compared them to other mechanics, they are definitely better priced.
