    Triple R Home Improvements, Inc.
Great, great, great! Triple R remodeled our horror show of a bathroom and exceeded our expectations. Brian is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and concerned with our wishes and satisfaction. He listened to what we wanted and gladly answered our questions. He and Devon (his right hand man) gutted the bathroom and rebuilt it from scratch. They had more than the usual amount of plumbing and electrical to do, and did them perfectly. The job was made much more difficult because we wanted a 2' octagon window added to the wall of the tub/shower. This required cutting through the exterior wall, placing the window, and then adding the subway tile around the window. Brian spent the time necessary to make sure the tile was evenly and artistically placed around the window, side to side and top to bottom. As a result, it is beautiful (see the picture)! Brian also ensured that everything was clean and neat each day. We really can't say enough good things about Triple R, except to add that we highly recommend them!

The job took a little longer than we expected, but we could not be more pleased with the results. After all, this was a major renovation and Adra was wonderful to work with. Brian at Triple R has a crew of hardworking and trustworthy guys. In fact, we left the keys to our house with them while my wife and I took a ten day vacation to Europe. The thing I appreciated about them most was the ability to change plans/materials on the fly and not over charge us for it. I think in any major renovation you will experience some sort of changes to the plan. Triple R is a company you can trust to fix the problems and not take advantage of you for them. Thank you Brian for the quality work. You are a true example of a hardworking small business owner.

    Mr Electric of Columbia
It went very well. They were very professional and did top notch work. I would recommend to anyone. Im glad I went with this company. I will hire them again in the future for all my electrical needs. I was very happy how it looked afterwards on how neat and precise everything was when they were done. Good job done.

    Eagle Eye Electric

Ok, for the most part, he gave the estimate, explained very well what needed to be done, according to what we wanted done. I learned more about electricity from him, than I had known all my life. One thing I wasn't pleased with, was he quoted a price for a quad outlet, then when he went to do it, he explained, that the price he had shown was for one outlet, so it was double for two, I thought the price was pretty high.... I'm not an electrician, but I think I could have done it myself, it wasn't that hard, and would have been a lot cheaper.
He finished the work and left, I think it was a Friday. Saturday power went out in part of the house and I tried to call him many times with no answer. I had to take a day off from work Monday, and called and finally reached him, he said my number was mistakenly in his spam number box. He pinpointed the problem quickly, it was a brand new faulty main breaker, and replaced it. He then installed two more outlets. We haven't had any more issues... But he was very knowledgeable and good about explaining everything so it was easy for us to understand . I think the price overall was good, except for the outlets...I will definitely call him if I have another electrical problem.

I called to get an estimate to replace my old breaker box, I was told he could be there the next day and there would be a $90 charge for an estimate. what!? Well, he never showed up, so I called and was told there must have been a mix up, he would come the next day. The next day, he didn't show, I called and she said she didn't know what the problem was, it was on the schedule. I told her to forget it, just cancel it.... the next day they called and said he would be right out, I said no, I cancelled that yesterday because he hasn't shown up for two appointments and I think it's ridiculous to have to pay $90 for an estimate when most people will do that for free, to get the business!

I purchased a new A/C and furnace unit from Hammond 4 yrs. ago.  On Wed. evening (8/5/15),  the A.C. unit was not blowing cool air.  Since Hammond had installed the new unit 4 yrs ago and my paperwork was showing a 10 yr. manufacturers warranty for the compressor and parts, I called them Thurs. morning to schedule an appt.  The technician came out very promptly .  He determined the problem was a capacitor that had gone bad.  The technician said he did not have a replacement capacitor in his truck for my particular unit.  He said he could order the part and it would take 3-4 days to come in.  He also said he could put 2 smaller capacitors (essentially rigging it) so the unit would run until the ordered part came in and then he could install the correct part.  The other option he gave me was he could go pick up the correct part. He said it would be about a 15 min. round  trip to pick up the part, but  he would have to charge me a "$45.00 trip fee". He said the  total cost would be $269.00 which is $85.00 diagnostic fee, $45.00 trip fee and $139.00 labor.   I explained to the technician that a $45.00  trip fee to pick up a part  that was local  was unreasonable and that I clearly was being overcharged.  I also didn't want my A/C unit to be rigged with 2 capacitors and he agreed that was probably not the best route to take.  I paid the  $85.00 diagnostic fee but I certainly didn't want him to "pick up"  or order any parts and I declined any further work on the unit.

He did the electrical work just fine. However he secured the new box with nails that were too long and penetrated
through to the outside wall!  He is the son of our former electrician. In time he will be as good as his Dad!

Aaron was very personable and competent. He was very eager to please the customer (me) and to earn his good reputation--which he did. He cleaned up immaculately after the job. However, by spending extra time on placing an outlet closer to the edge of the house (which I did not need or request--and which was in fact different from what we had discussed) I had to pay more than his initial estimate. I should have contested this, but I didn't.

His service is great.  We have been happy with him every time we have used him and we have used him about 3-4 times.  He is very prompt.  He does a very good job with everything that he does.

Hammond removed, repaired, and re-installed the cooling coil in my 15 year old Geo-Thermal heat pump. This is a risky repair and most companies won't even attempt it. It has now run for a year and saved me from the expense of replacing the unit at a time when I could not afford to replace it.
