Car Dealership reviews in Garden City

    SAVANNAH TOYOTA
It went well. The salesperson informed me they would only give me approximately $500 for my old Lincoln as a trade-in, but when I was looking over the agreement, the closer asked me if I wanted to trade in my current car. I informed him of what we told me, and he asked me what did I want for it as a trade-in, I said at least $2,000, at which he said he could do that. I said I did not consider it done if he is just going to add it back on to the back end of the deal, at which he replied that he would go over everything in the contract along with the financial person before finalizing the deal. I was satisfied.

They were very courteous, asked various questions, informed me of what they found that should be addressed and gave an approximate length of time before situation would get worse/or stop working and what may happen, then asked if I was ready to have them correct it, along with the price.  Waiting room is pleasant with clean restrooms, snack area, tv, and friendly banter with other waiting customers.

    VOLVO OF SAVANNAH
Volvo of Savannah has been servicing my Volvos for about 4 years and I am extremely pleased with their service. Initially, when I first brought my car there I competively shopped their pricing and discovered to my surprise that they always beat pricing from both small independant service providers to the larger chains. For example, I needed four new tires for my 2003 Volvo S80, I priced about 5 different stores and found that Volvo of Savannah not even beat their prices, but with a far superior brand of tire. They even had a coupon for a free alignment when you purchased four tires, the savings were substatial. The list of savings go on and on, from the purchase of a Volvo OEM battery, to timimg belt replacement,
Usually I leave my car in the morning for the day and John the driver, who is a very pleasant man, gives me a complimentary ride to work. Usually Holly will call me before the end of the day to ask what would be a good time for John to return to pick me up to get my car back. It is a great service and really simplifies my busy day. The car is always washed and vacuumed at no extra charge. Volvo of Savannah by far did not only meet my expectations but totally blew them off the chart.
The owner, Mr Ralph Tolman can usually be found in the servcie area, is always accessible and is very proud of his operation as he should be and the attentive customer service and professionalism that is demonstrated by all his employees.
By the way, I am retired from over 25 years in the retail automotive sales and service industry and are no push over. I know many of the tricks and have witnessed first hand many horror shows in this type of work and can be a tough customer. This review was totalled unsolicited by anyone at Volvo of Savannah and they have no knowledge of me submitting this review. In my opinion they are the best.

    OC Welch Ford Lincoln
I bought a 2011 Fiesta SES I would be the very first owner of this car, paid in full there and then for the car, no finance at all, yet they insisted the car was put in my HUSBANDS Name with mine as a co owner, even the new car guarantee is in my husbands sole name, yet I paid for the car, when the title came through it was in my husbands name, when we asked why when I bought the car not him we were told by the sales man Richard, that is how it's done in the USA everyting goes into the HUSBANDS NAME, so if I had known this, I would never have gone there and bought a new car,
to have the car put into my name we've been told my husband has to sell me the car making , me the next owner not the first owner as it should have been,

    Gateway Pre-owned
They were very fair and straightforward with their pricing, no games.  They treated us with respect and actually listened to what we were saying, unlike many other dealers. They worked very hard to find a nice car that fit  both our needs and budget and were never pushy at all.  They took care of all the paperwork and we were driving home in an hour.
Richard, Jonathan, and Adrian explained that they are a new dealer taking the place of the business that used to be there and strongly believe they can grow their business by offering fairly priced nice used cars and treating the customer well.
If they treat everyone as well as they treated us then they surely will be there for a long time.
