My roof is beautiful. Everything was professionally handled. I am very satisfied with the insurance claim assistance, the installation and the clean up. I recommend Southern Specialty and would use them again.

Pat did a very good job. We had wood floors put in, some siding repairs, deck work along with fence work. Overall Pats crew did a very good job. I was impressed because everyday Pat would come by and check on his crew. There were a few small things that I pointed out to Pat and they were corrected immediately. I was happy with the work.

    Shepp's Residential Maintenance Repairs
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST home repair company that I have ever hired. Roderick Sheppard showed up late, and unprepared to do the work, even though he showed up two days prior to do a site survey. He was completely unprofessional the entire time, using profanity towards me, and constantly cutting me off when I mentioned any concerns. He even threatened me. When he realized he took advantage of my situation, he refused to do any other work neccessary to complete the repair. $675 to replace a 2 feet piece of fascia board, all while leaving the hole on the interior side, not allowing the board to be properly nailed in place. Again, ABSOLUTELY THE WORST company you can hire.

I don't think they did a bad job. I just think they didn't impress me. They did the job they were supposed. They put the siding up. I thought the siding looked okay and all that. I just wasn't wowed by the overall experience.

    EXOVATIONS of Atlanta
I was truly excited about this job. They were the 10th estimate I'd received. During the sales and consultation, they were punctual, thorough, and honest. They advertise they provide a lifetime warranty on workmanship. This was the easiest purchase of a product ever. They advertise what stress free remodeling looks like. This was the most stressful work I've ever had done on my home. Two company signs were installed in my yard. One sign was the company sign. The other sign was a set of rules for their employees. Some of the rules were no loud music, no smoking, no eating, no swearing, and be respectful. Windows and sliding door Installation The beginning of the installation was problematic. The cedar wood around the windows was supposed to be removed, windows installed, and cedar wood re-installed except where rotted. No one told the window installers this information. One window was ordered incorrectly but that was rectified as soon as possible. The window installers could speak English. Garage Door Installation The garage door installer couldn't speak English. The siding was supposed to be completed prior to the garage door install and since it wasn't the garage door installer wasn't going to do it. I called the Project manager and he got him to install the garage door. The door broke that day or the very next day and it wouldn't close leaving my home exposed. I had to contact the Project Manager. I did think it was pretty darn cool that he left the comforts of his home immediately and got the garage door to close. The garage door company returned to fix it so it would close properly all the time. Siding Installation; This was the worst job ever. The first siding crew didn't speak English. The left their lunch trash on the ground - instead of putting it in the dumpster. They left cigarette butts on the ground. This helped me understand the sign and their violation of the company rules. They blew the power twice and broke the outside electrical outlet. They also broke an outside light. Their power tools were spliced with an orange electrical cord to the power plug installed on the electrical tool. I guess they didn't want to plug their tool into the extension cord all the time so they spliced them together. I had some wood rot that needed to be replaced before the siding was installed. The replacement wood was in the contract that I was charged for. The siding guys were not going to replace it until I notified the Project Manager it was in the contract. The first siding crew installed the siding in such a horrible fashion that it look liked I did it myself. There were a lot of buckles in the siding and there were significant wrinkles in the capping. The Project Manager's boss had the nerve to tell me it was because my home was buckled, which it was not. They also wasted a lot of material that I paid for. For example, if 6' of siding was needed from the 12' piece of siding, this crew would not cut from the very end and have the remaining 6' to use. This crew would cut in the middle. The project manager even dug some useful material out of the dumpster. I waited for almost 2 weeks for the electrical outlet outside to get fixed and after it wasn't fixed, I called an Electrician that fixed it. I requested a different crew because it was just way too much stress and they were not respecting my home. The second siding crew immediately recognized what the issues were, fixed those as best they could, and completed the remainder of the siding installation. There are still some buckles in the siding. of course I was provided an unsatisfactory answer regarding the buckles that are visible as one drives by. The Project Manager's boss said the buckles were because my home was buckled before they started. I was actually offended by that response. My home wasn't buckled before and even if it was, I guess the crew wasn't professional enough to compensate for it. For every defect I point out, the excuse was "your home is defective". I would give the purchasing of a product an A+. I give the windows installation an A+. I give the garage door installation an F. The first siding crew has an F. The second siding crew has an A+. These things together on average, in my estimation, is an overall C- or D+. I give a C since there is no C- or D+. I'm glad the project is over. It started on March 14, 2017 and ended on May 2, 2017. I'm not sure if I would hire this company again, so I put no. This was such a nightmare, I'm not even sure if they will honor the lifetime warranty on workmanship.

    EXOVATIONS of Atlanta
Excellent. Tom Stogsdill and Troy Beckham at Exovations were both friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They provided an excellent product and completed all work in the time frame and price agreed upon. I would recommend Exovations for home improvement projects.

Other than the initial inspection, it was horrible. We still do not have a date confirmed for the work and I have been more than patient. He's done nothing since Feb 10th. April 5th was our last exchange - see email chain below - start at the bottom:

Kelly ? I have to say I?m getting pretty frustrated with your

for $100 (since that?s the discount I was provided toward the replacement
window on Angie?s list) and I will find someone else to do the work.

CRSI Siding | Windows | Painting

I first engaged Joe Tichenor for a quote in October, 2015, and obtained a quote for the siding replacement job. I received quotes from him and 3 other contractors and his price was the lowest. I researched the other companies (via Angies, the BBB and every other source I was able to find including contacting prior customers. In the ensuing month I worked with Joe and the other leading contractor on ensuring that the full scope of work was included - I was particularly concerned about rotten wood that was hidden from view. Joe was very responsive via email and text to my questions and the addition to scope of a couple of additional items. His responses to my inquiries were generally within minutes and never took more than 12 hours.

Work began in late January and proceeded slowly due to bad weather. Joe's crews worked as much as possible around the rain and the job was finished in February. The job took a good bit longer than it otherwise would have and I appreciated Joe's 1) constant communications to be about what was happening, and, 2) focus on doing a quality job despite the elongation of the timeline.  Each day the crew cleaned up including magnetically sweeping for nails - I very much appreciated this.

Through the process Joe did several additional items that were not within the scope of the work. For example, I replaced all the exterior hardware to electronic locks and under-eave lights to motion-sensor LED's. Joe offered to do this replacement for me (which turned out to be far more complex than either of us thought).

I would recommend Joe Tichenor without hesitation to anyone doing a window/siding job. He is flexible and focused on doing a quality job, even if what is required isn't strictly included in the scope of the contract - a common-sense partner in finishing the project.

I only wish he did other types of contactor work as finding someone who is as quality-focused and honest is extremely hard.

    T&J Exteriors Inc.
Before submitting his quote Tracy, walk around with my wife and myself and took photos of the house and described each detail of the repairs that were needed,
Once he submitted the quote, we  asked how much was required for a down payment, and he said, when the work has been completed and we are satisfied.
He and his crew kept us informed throughout the project. This is a crew that cleaned up when they finished for the day.
Upon completion of the project, the premises were left  impeccable.
We are very satisfied with T&J Exteriors, Inc., and we highly recommend them without hesitation or regret.
They will be our first call when we help in the future.
