  • Not well. Tried to explain that grass was getting worst and the owner said it was because I started the service too late. The only reason I started the service is tech said service would help. It didnt.

  • I've mentioned to them on several occasions that I only want services performed when I'm home. Even after repeated requests, I often get robocalls -- usually on Friday evenings when I can't call to cancel -- that someone will be out on Saturday to perform the services. I've also asked several times to cancel services, yet they persist. The amount of time they're supposedly here compared to the size of the yard -- really, I'm not sure if they've really done anything. Yet, I'm billed for services I don't want and have asked to be discontinued. This is very inconvenient because I prefer to plan my schedule. I DO NOT want to receive robocalls about services that I did not schedule and do not want. I've expressed that this is a bad business practice because customers might have other things planned around the home/yard (such as other work being done, guests, etc.) and unplanned lawn services could interfere with those plans. I'm not sure if they're hard-pressed for business.

  • United Lawnscaping comes 4-6 times per year to fertilize my yard and provide pre-emergent weed control.  It is a liquid application and they take care to avoid trampling or mowing down my plants.  While the service does not take an inordinate amount to time, they take their time and to it right.

  • The 1st & 2nd application were good; I didn't have a lot of weeds afterwards.  But, after the 3rd application I had a lot of weeds all over my yard.  So we bought some Scott's weed & feed and applied it ourselves.  After one application, my weeds were gone.

  • It was excellent, it didn't take them long and their equipment was amazing! The guys were very professional as well, and I didn't have to do anything in advance to get my lawn ready for them. I will definitely use them again in the future!

  • Well I went back to Top Turf after they ignored my plea for help last December, poor decision on my part. Basically I started back with these guy around end of March and they came to service my weeds. My issue arose when my lawn was totally ignore for 9 weeks and during that time my lawn was struggling. My neighbor uses Top Turf (because of how my lawn looked over the yrs) and I seen his Top Turf guy come out 2 times, while my home was never serviced and no one ever came out to even check on my lawn. I believe this is due to the fact that I cancelled the prior December and this was their way to express their displeasure. I can say this with conviction, because I was with this company for 4 yrs prior and never has my lawn gone without service or even a checkup, more than 4-5wks.
    Poor treatment of your customers will always lead to lose of customers. This company only cares about you (even if your a long standing cust) if your paying them. They feel they are the only real company doing this on the south side of Atlanta, so your options are thin and they can treat you anyway they want.
     I spoke to their representative that sent me a letter to see why I cancelled my service and in that conversation it was inferred many  times that due to me not being on the full schedule (8 treatments), this is what caused my lawn issues. Now this is interesting because, I'm not sure how their guys not coming to my home for 9 wks (during a HOT summer) has anything to do with when I started my plan, those guys never stopping by in-between service when they are in my neighborhood to check on my lawn, I have no idea how those guys telling me that the cause of my lawn issue is due to my lawn being cut low (which is a joke because I'v cut my lawn at 4'', always),  and I dont understand how any of this is my fault. Well the second issue was I didnt agree with that assessment and asked that someone else come out and give a second opinion. Well they blew me off for a week and I had to call a second time, finally end of the next wk someone came out and said grass is cut too low and there is compaction, so water each zone for a 1hr. I cancelled service and found a new company built on cust service first. Their assessment of my lawn was totally different and more informational and problem solving. They concluded that my lawn was suffering from drought stress and gave me multiple ways to solve the issue. After looking up what drought stress to see what it looks like, its exactly what my issue is, not the fact of cutting my lawn low. I may not have had this issue, if Top Turf cared to come out sometime, anytime within that 9 week window.
    I would not look to go back to these ppl because, if your not being charged for 8 treatments like they want, if you want to be called prior to them coming out, if your outside of your normal treatment structure, they dont give a d*** about your lawn. Proof is in the pudding and I have more than 4 yrs with them and I know when I'm getting the cold shoulder, question when (not if) it will happen to you. Also to clarify something on my treatment schedule, I only excluded the last two service treatments which is lime ( I do myself) and per-emergent. With me excluding those two treatments my lawn has never struggled over the first 4 yrs. So proof of fact is the last two are a money grab, especially during the cold months when Bermuda is dormant and the ground is frozen like a rock(last yr 2011 was the exception to this fact).
    Do yourself a favor and just don't do it and trust I'm going to let my neighbors know there is a better company that actually cares about you as a customer and not only focused on the money you pay them.

  • Things didn't go as expected. I have had another service (Top Turf) before trying Nature's and therefore my expectations are pretty high. When Natures applied the first application weed killer to my weeds in the grass, they didn't die after the 14 day period or thereafter. So, I called to see if they would come out and apply another application and the agent told me to give this application time to settle and normally after the second application I should see the results I wanted. Since this is my first time with them, I thought this would be fair to wait till the next application within 6 weeks. Well six weeks has come and gone, and no one has come out yet. So, I just cancelled because I'm very particular about my lawn and like to make sure its treated when its suppose too and not when ever a company gets around to it.  At least i know with my last company they are coming exactly in a 6wk time-frame and maybe a day or two before, also they come out and check in-between that 6wk period to see how my lawn was doing and will even apply treatment to weeds they see without charge. When I spoke to natures about that first application not working, the guy did mention they could come back out and retreat but it would be for a cost.

    Just some differences in policy I think, nothing major but major to those that really take pride in their lawn, like I do. Also, when you dont get that feeling of how you use to be treated, its makes it tuff for the new company to compete.

  • I was with this company for about 4 yrs and this past yr(after Dec 26th '11), once all my treatments were completed, I called to ask for some help with a issue I noticed. The issue was there were some darkish colored weed grass growing over from my neighbors lawn into mine. My lawn is Bermuda and it was dormant, so it was easy to see, I called and asked if they could come out and tell me what it was and how I may be able to treat it. I even spoke with a manager who said they would get someone out there to let me know what they thought. No one came out and this darkish color grass weed continued to spread into my lawn, I waited a wk and a half, still no one. I finally just figured they didn't come because I wasn't paying them to come out and I guess that wasn't in their best interest. Mind you I have been with them for over 4yrs and this is how they treat you, always about the money, never about really helping the customer. Everyone knows this season has been irregular and to not have a lawn treatment company that really cares sucks.

    And what makes this even more disrespectful is, in my subdivision no one really had top turf in the back where I live. I have had one of the best looking lawns for the past 3yrs but this yr my lawn grabbed everyone's attention. Guess what, everyone in the back where I live now has top turf and top turf never once recognized me for that, even the clients they had that lived in the front of my subdivision, their grass cant even compare to what my lawn looks like. Most of their clients in the subdivision still had weeds, my lawn had zero. Its not only the lawn care specialist though, its also the things I do in addition to what they do and they failed to respect me as a client and as someone who helped bring attention to their business in my subdivision.

    Its ok, I have a new lawn care specialist and once my neighbors get the disrespectful treatment from top turf, they'll be looking for a new lawn specialist and they will need not look no further than who's name is on my lawn.  I may not have wanted to cancel my Top Turf service but when you have customer service that's really bad it will surface sooner or later.
