    Pollard Concrete and Construction
The work was completed in one day except for stripping the forms. That was done a few days later. They did an excellent job and left behind no evidence that they had been there. I gave them a "B" on price only because I thought it was a little high but admittedly I have no experience paying for concrete work until now.

    Pollard Concrete and Construction
Mr. Pollard and his crew arrived on time and performed the work in a courteous and professional manner. Area was prepped, forms set in place and concrete laid all in one day. Two members of his crew remained late to ensure the slab was finished off properly. His crew cleaned up the area very well following the work. Mr. Pollard initially underestimated the amount of concrete required for the slab (slab was to be placed level on a slightly sloping backyard) and ensured that enough concrete was ordered to complete the job. This extra concrete was ordered at his own expense and not once did he mention the additional cost. He did not require a down payment at all to start the job and when I asked him if he was ready to "settle up", he asked me first if I was completely satisfied with the job before accepting any money.

    Pollard Concrete and Construction
Mr. Pollard came out as soon as I called. Quoted a very fair price. Had his workers return in the afternoon. They were very careful to remove and then replace sod. Can't really tell where they dug it up. Very efficient. Would definitely use them again.

    Pollard Concrete and Construction
Pollard Concrete did a great job, was professional from start to finish, and provided excellent value compared to competing bids.  I am very happy that I selected Pollard Concrete, will be happy to recommend them to family & friends, and would definitely do business with them for future jobs.
The owner, James Pollard, was very easy to work with throughout the process.  He showed up on-time for the estimate, had his team on site & working when promised, and completed the job on time.  He and his team did good work in all phases of the work: demolition, site prep, installation, and finishing.  James Pollard is a man of integrity and a craftsman committed to customer satisfaction.  He backs up his promise to do great work.
We are very satisfied with our new driveway and pleased to get it a price less than 2/3 that of multiple competing estimates.

    John Hennessy Construction
Evans Site Prep INC. did and excellent job of removing the old driveway and removing the debri. I would hire Then to do any future excavation work (DAVEY FULLER 706 627-7472).  The next day John Hennessy and his crew began framing, leveling, and pouring the newdriveway.  As a result of the work the ground next to the new driveway needed to be backfilled in order to bring the ground to the level of the driveway.  Mr. Hennessy stated he would return the next day to remove the framing, backfill the areas required and preform any necessary work required to finish the job.  The next day his crew arrived early to remove the framing and left.  I called him on two occassions about the finish work required.  He stated he would return the next day and then the next week to finish the work.  He never returned.  Now i have to say this is partly my fault.  I paid him the day he poured the concrete.  BAD Mistake.  After considerable time and effort on my part i was able to get the work completed.  Evans Site Prep as a courtesy was informed of my intention to have to have the work completed and pursue payment through small claims court if necessary.  Mr. Fuller was very concerned about Mr. Hennessy not completing the job and came to my house to finish the work on a volunteer basis.  My complaint was not with him but he made it right.  Moral of the story is this - if you hire Hennessy do pay him until the work is completed to your satisfaction.

    EVAN SITE PREPARATION INC
The contractor did an execellent job od removing the old driveway.  Due to no fault of his own the cable service and a sprinkler line were disabled.  Both were repaired.  the contractor also returned after the driveway was finished to voluntarly level the ground to the driveway after the concrete contractor failed to complete the job.  Hire this contractor!

    Tallents Decks And Porches
It went very well. Mr Talent is a very knowledgeable man. He was prompt and kind. As we inquired others to do the job, we found him to be more gracious and appreciative that we inquired. Mannerism goes a long way. Thank you Mr. Talent

    SS Custom Concrete
The workmanship was inferior as they sloped the concrete wrong which causes water pooling.  This was due to an error in the amount of concrete poured.  They were not punctual and did not perform all the work they stated they would.  The surface materials used were inadequate and the paint/coating is chipping off in areas after only one month.  I contacted Gene Odell and he said he would come out and look at it and get back to me with a resolution.  It has been two months now and he still won't answer my calls. Very unreliable and a fly-by-night operation.  Avoid this provider at all cost.

    Augusta Concrete & Masonry LLC
    August/Commonwealth concrete & Masonry LLC
failed to deliver a satisfactory repair/resurface of garage floor. As of 3
August 2013, the work has not been satisfactorily completed. As per contracted
agreement, he was to seal the crack with epoxy, and finish with a thin concrete
coat that would provide a smooth finish to the entire floor. Per contract,
epoxy was applied to the crack on 3 July 2013 and an initial concrete layer was
spread on 8 July. Mr. Gordon decided to remove this concrete layer a week later
due to the extreme granular texture of the product used. A second and different
concrete product was applied on 25 July with a reapplication "touch
up" on 29 July. On August 2, 2013, I texted Mr. Gordon asking when the
floor would be done and his response was "It already is".
The present condition of the floor is unacceptable. Masking tape is still in place, chucks of the initial granular
concrete application are present around the baseboards. Shoe prints, dust, dirt
and debris are present in the concrete from the second concrete applicatiwith rough swirls and dark patchwork spots.   A second concrete contractor has been contacted and indicated the surface concrete applied is inappropriate for the job.  The crack  is still visible with expoxy leaking through the surface.  This is far from the promised
product of a smooth surface with no visible crack. Mr. Gordon has been paid in
full to provide a product which has yet be delivered.  A BBB complaint has been filed
