  • We were moving to a home that had stairs up to the area we needed the piano to be. We took pictures of where the piano was going, sent it to them. There was no problem. First, they changed the delivery date which was a tad bid concerning because they said they were going to put our piano in their warehouse and deliver it a week later... however we agreed to it and trusted it would be OK. Then the texts started, they wanted more pictures of the stairs... and we sent them. Then it was decided they would need the "railing" off of our stairs to take it up because the area at the bottom of the stairs was too small...after a few days of back and forth and us being in a brand new area 2 hours from our home we had just moved from and not finding someone to remove our railing right away, and them having our very expensive baby grand piano in a warehouse, we asked them to bring it to us anyway. The piano is now in my kitchen (see the picture below). It's taken us 3 1/2 weeks to hire someone to remove the railing...they told us they would come back and move it up once that was done...well 3 days before they are supposed to come, he cancelled on us telling us to call someone else (he claims he is sick now)...He only took 100 dollars off the cost of initially moving it....didn't finish the job and has left us dry with a piano in my kitchen. The person he referred us to won't move the piano. The person we hired to remove the railing is expected to come tomorrow and we can't cancel him as he will charge now I will have no railing on my stairs and a baby grand piano in my kitchen until we can find another piano mover to help us. THESE PEOPLE ARE A JOKE. It's going to cost us almost triple from what this guy was going to charge us to come back and take it up the stairs to move it...You get what you pay for. RUN. My next call is the to the Better Business Bureau.

  • To us this is a daunting task however for Mike Todisco it proved to be a typical work day for him and his team. They traveled from their home base in Melbourne, made a stop in North Carolina and arrived in our north Georgia town Wednesday night, April 25th. Thursday was a long day but they stayed with the job of packing, marking and stowing all items big and small. Moving our piano needed some special care and the team showed their experience in preparing and moving this heavy instrument. We wondered how all of our items would fit into the van, but every box and blanketed furniture found a place to nest for the long ride to Cocoa Beach (and a second stop in West Melbourne). On Saturday the items for West Melbourne were unloaded and then the majority of boxes and furniture were unloaded in Cocoa Beach on Tuesday April 30. We are still unpacking boxes but everything is in excellent condition.
