  • She is polite and professional and doesn't rush through the exam. She referred me to a specialist for the pain, and he diagnosed me with a double hernia and corrected it with surgery.
    Overall, the visits have been uneventful, but she seems to be a good doctor, the waiting time is minimal, so I have no complaints.

  • It's really close to my house and it's a very welcoming office. There is a not a lot of wait time and they respond when I call and if I have an emergency. They work very well with the pharmacist in getting information to them. They also call me to remind me about my appointment.

  • Dr. Kendall is very caring, and very attentive. They are very prompt in keeping within the appointment time they have given. Their follow up is very good. If they can't complete the tests in the time that you are there, then they call you and give you the results of the tests. They are very good.

  • They are wonderful.  Anything with them has been excellent.  My husband has used them for some very serious issues and they have been wonderful and one of the reasons why we moved to where we are.  We don’t know about the one that is located near us, but we are assuming that they all have the same kind of philosophy.  The doctors will even give us their cell numbers when they are on vacation.  We have had excellent results and our children are here and took our grandchildren there and we have been dealing with treatment issues and they have been excellent.  We are so glad to be here.  If we call them from out of town, they have a toll free number and we get somebody and we get an answer, even during off hours.  It is a wonderful healthcare system.  They are in research and even though they have to make a profit of some sort to keep in business, they are more interested in research and getting people well.  They are available because they want things to go right, but we don’t know if they do that at this satellite here.  We found that all over Atlanta there are different places associated with them.  The hospital and the center at the Emory Campus are wonderful.  They have office hours at different at one little place at North West Atlanta one day and South East Atlanta another day.

  • I've had two terrible experiences at Emory Family Medicine at Dunwoody, and will not be back! On the first visit, I arrived early, only to end up waiting an hour to see a physician (Dr. Vu). They sent a med student in to talk to me, and had her take down all my symptoms. The doctor finally saw me and had me review all my symptoms AGAIN. If I had not been so sick, I would've walked out. Today, I went in to get a vaccine. I called several days prior to make sure they had the vaccine on hand. When I got there, they seemed very confused, and asked me why I had made an appointment with a doctor instead of a nurse. Then they told me that they didn't have the vaccine available, then they told me they had it only for medicaid patients. They went on to tell me that I should have called the location directly to see if the vaccine was on had in addition to scheduling my appointment through the call center (how would one know to do this?). I am officially done with this place.

  • This was my first visit with him. I was delighted with him. Anybody would love him. He's very personable and laid-back. He isn't insulting in any way, like some doctors are. He's a very caring person. He said he would get me feeling good again, with my medication.

  • He is an excellent physician. He is extremely knowledgeable. Whenever I go to him with a problem, he usually has something or knows who to refer me to. He is very proactive and aggressive in treating conditions but at the same time he brings me into the decision process. He lays out what the situation is, he lays out what he thinks is the most effective strategy for addressing that situation and then gets my buy in about it. We are working as a team which makes me feel very free to give him a feedback on how things are going; whether things are working or not working. All things considered, he makes himself available.

  • He's taken very good care of me and my condition. He has a very friendly bedside manner. He's able to answer any questions that I may have. His office staff is good at what they do. It's easy to schedule appointments with his office. I'll definitely be using him again. He's a good man.

  • I have been going to Emory Family Medicine for my basic medical needs for about three years. In general, someone can see me quickly. However, seeing a different resident every time can be difficult. Different residents have vastly different levels of expertise and knowledge (at my last physical, it was clear that the person doing the exam was doing one of her first GYN exams ever). I have also had several paperwork issues, such as lab results not being added to my file or a misplaced insurance check that took many calls to straighten out. They are not bad overall, but they do not make me jump with joy. I don't know what their costs are like overall because they are part of my health insurance network.
