    Bloomin Blinds of Atlanta
Kyle was great. He was very responsive. We had a couple minor issues and he worked to rectify those. We've ended up with beautiful shutters and our widows look great. We would definitely recommend and we would use them again. They were punctual- and the one time they were running late I received a phone call to let me know and a new ETA.

    Acadia Shutters & Blinds Inc
Acadia was great! They came out and spent a good amount of time with us, going over sizing, color, and ultimately price. The order was placed that day and install was right on time with what they had quoted. We're very happy with the product and appreciate the excellent customer service that we received during and after install. I highly recommend them

    Acadia Shutters Inc
Wil, the Sales Manager, came by for a consultation. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and most importantly answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed (and I am the type who asks a lot of questions.) I thought the price quoted was very reasonable and mailed a deposit the next day. It took 8 weeks for delivery (had to allow for Thanksgiving and Christmas.) Ben, the installer, was also friendly, professional and efficient. The shutters look beautiful and open/close very smoothly. I couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend this company.

    Get Blinds Today Inc
Windows were measured efficiently for custom blinds. After being manufactured locally, they were installed shortly after, also done very efficiently. Two small valances had been measured incorrectly, but the company mailed replacement valances of the correct size, which easily snapped in place. The company also checked back with me to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the product, which I am.

    Acadia Shutters Inc
From the minute I called Acadia Shutters, they were responsive and courteous. Will visited my wife and I in our, as of then, unfinished home, where he made a few initial measures. We then reconvened at a nearby coffee shop to discuss options and pricing. After receiving quotes from a few vendors, Will met me again for final measurements and further discussion of the shutters' manufacture. I like that Acadia uses a manufacturer in Georgia, whereas other folks I spoke with use folks in China or elsewhere. The shutters were ready in the specified timeframe (5-7 weeks) and were installed quickly and professionally. They look great and are very well made. I'm very pleased with the way everything turned out, including the price!!

    Budget Blinds of Atlanta Northeast
The provider came quickly and was very helpful in having a wide selection of products, and in provide advice about which would be most appropriate for our needs.   He measured accurately, because the blinds fit perfectly.

The delivery of the blinds from the supplier took longer than anticipated, but the installer came the same day the blinds arrived and did a good job of installation.   We are pleased with the products and with the service.

For me, their price was reasonable. They were very professional. The people who installed it were very receptive to our needs because we have animals. They were friendly to my animals. They also installed it quickly for the whole house.

Measuring was done on 2/7 for shutters and blinds.  Everything was installed on 3/19.  The order went very well. Wil Spears measured the windows and later provided us with a paint sample to be sure the shutters matched the woodwork.  The installation went quickly but Carl did not tell us that the shutters could be adjusted and that they weren't done at installation.  (A call to Wil revealed that adjustments were easy and I could make them.)  The blinds were the same as I could have bought on line or in Lowes.  The difference was the installation.   My wife had the valences adjusted 3 times but I had to do it again the next day to make everything was okay.  If I had to do it again I would buy the shutters from Acadia but get the blinds somewhere else and put them in myself for less money.

    Intown Craftsmen
I took time off from work to meet with Intown to ask for an estimate for 4-5 projects around my house, including replacing a screen door, hanging window treatments, and painting.  The owner came to my house and seemed competent and interested in the work.  He agree to write up a price quote and send it to me, but I never heard from him.  After a week, I called him about the price quote, and he responded that my job "had slipped through the cracks," and he would get a quote to me right away.  I never heard from him again.  It was a big waste of time.

    ATL Renovations LLC
First I want to say that I love my freshly renovated house and working with Judy at Sally (co-owners/operators at ATL Renovations) was a pleasure.  The bottom line is that the 2 month project finished earlier than projected and under budget.  I will be contacting them in the future for any renovation needs that come up.  I am recommending them to family and friends.  My original plan was to do renovations on my home project by project and pay off smaller projects along the way before moving on to the next project.  The house was built in 1960 and has had no updates in that time other than new carpets, appliances, new roof etc.  Last year I had the hardwood floors refinished.  That job was NOT done by ATL Renovations.  It was the experience from h***, and a nightmare from start to finish.  I actually threw the man, who lied to me repeatedly, out of my house before the job was even complete.  He left behind a partially completed job and damage to my home.  The next project I was planning to do, after the floors, was going to be replacing the windows or the kitchen cabinets.  I was undecided which to do first and gun shy about having another company working in my home.  Doing the renovations one small project at a time was going to take years and require me dealing with company after company on an individual basis.  After the nightmare of the hardwood floors that idea was not appealing at all.  Plus, I work full time and couldn't?t take the time off needed to negotiate all of the different projects with different companies and be at home while the work was done.  So, I decided that the best option would be to hire a company that could oversee all of the projects and have them all done at one time.  That way, I could get the renovations done at all once and enjoy living in the house while paying off the home equity loan.  I would be dealing with one company that would deal with the individual projects.  First, I did my research of companies on Angie?s List for a company that could oversee the renovations.  I learned from my previous mistake with the hardwood floors and now this is step one in all jobs for the house.  I located ATL Renovations and sent an email to them outlining my budget and my priority list of work to be done.  I received a reply later that same morning.  I met with Judy and Sally in person the following week.  We discussed the projects I wanted done and they made excellent comments and suggestions to my wish list.  The renovations that were done included the kitchen (new floor, backsplash and cabinet doors) gutting two bathrooms completely, moving the washer and dryer into the house into a new laundry closet constructed in the hall for them, installing new light fixtures, replacing all windows, all new window blinds and painting the entire interior of the house including walls, woodwork, windows, ceilings and closets.   We signed the contract in mid- August with the work to begin the week after Labor Day.  Everything was clearly laid out in the contract with the time frame, the budget by project and the payment schedule.  The project actually began a week early and was completed before the
projected completion date.  There were very few problems along the way and whenever there was a problem I was informed
by either Judy or Sally personally along with the plan and timeframe to resolve the problem.  The most difficult problem that came up during the entire 2 months was the day that the grout was installed on the new tile floors in the kitchen and dining room and on the
kitchen backsplash.  I got an email at work from Judy that the grout was installed backwards (floor grout on backsplash and vice versa).  She assured me they would fix it.  The wrong grout was installed in the morning, removed mid-day and the correct grout went in that afternoon.  By the end of the day the problem was resolved and the correct grout installed.  There was no break in the work schedule and I did not have to do a thing to get the mistake fixed. I was provided each week with a plan for the week and contacted if anything changed (which was rare) in the schedule.  It was a total pleasure working with Judy and Sally.  I plan to hire them again in the future.  Now that the inside of the house is fresh and updated I?m thinking the outside could use a little refreshing too.
