    Loving Care for Pets
Ms. Rose (now referred by us as Auntie Rose) has been our dog sitter for about 7 years. We have two fur babies, Minature Schnauzers Tyson and Rocko (and previously one named Melo). Our doggies think they have two homes, ours and Ms. Rose. We feel 100% comfortable with her watching our babies and they LOVE her!!! She is one of the kindest and most gentle people you will ever meet. She notices everything about our dogs and will often call with health tips, etc. She is the best and we drive from Smyrna to Decatur (often) because she is well worth it!

There are several reasons that F2D is a great choice for dog training. First, you're not locked into a training schedule. If you travel or just have a busy life, a class schedule that locks you into (for example) Tuesday night for 6 weeks on the calendar just won't work. At F2D you pay once and can go as often for as long as you like. It also allows you to move up in class level as you progress. We began (again, as an example) with Monday puppy socialization, then moved to obedience on Tuesday. Soon after that we began attending the more challenging outdoor obedience on Saturday while still having the option to show up on Tuesday. We've done this with an older shelter pup as well as a young, new puppy. We boarded our puppy with Tom and Zsolt and each time she came home a little "smarter". We felt she was really well cared for and it's clear that they developed a great relationship. We've also had private training sessions with Gina and Bonita for very different purposes. Gina helped us get started on the right foot when the pup was 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, since the pup slept the whole time, it was less training and more "consulting". Still, time well spent! Bonita was amazingly helpful when our girl got a little older and was exhibiting "teenager" behaviors. She really helped us fine tune our tactics and the result has been incredible!

    Clairmont Animal Hospital
I think all of their prices tend to be higher than what I was used to. They are higher and I've noticed that's a frequent complaint. Their vets are just very highly educated and they are very responsive, very good and very good with the pets but it's sort of a combination of highly skilled and also very compassionate.

I belong to this Banfield insurance. Almost everything is covered. A regular check up and thorough exam it cost about $800 but since I had the insurance, only $185.78. I get a doctor that I really like. The doctor is nice, professional, friendly, she treats me with respect, she does a thorough exam on my dog or cat or whoever it is at that time. They make you wait in the waiting room a long time.  I will use Banfield again but not this location.

My cat has an emergency with a bladder infection. I took him in, they did surgery. There were two different doctors and they conferred with me. They saw him immediately. They are not an overnight hospital.  He wasn’t ready to be discharged when I came to pick him up. He needed to stay in the hospital. They should have referred me to a pet hospital that I could take him to but instead, they decided that they wanted me to keep him.  I expressed concerns about cost. So instead of referring me to another overnight pet hospital, they said keep him in his carrier. They had this tube coming out of his penis to drain everything that was in his bladder, lots of blood, some urine, attached to this bag. I kept him overnight. He was probably in a lot of pain. It looked like he was just going to lie there. I left him that way with a pad underneath him. I went to bed. When I woke up again in the morning, he strangled himself to death. It looked like he turned around, a lot, and the cord was around his neck. I took him out and he was wound up in the cord like 15 times. It was just horrible.39:58 I was crying. I called to tell them what had happened and nobody was available. Both doctors were gone. I asked to speak to the attendant and he was sympathetic. When I talked to my regular doctor about this, who was not present at that time, she said that no one would say they were sorry that that happened and it wasn’t exactly their fault. I didn’t think they gave me the right advice.

    Banfield Pet Hospital
They would see him every 5 or 6 months and he was getting old. He was declining, which wasn’t their fault, and they were providing good service. When he died, I got nothing, nothing at all. I called and told them that he died and they wouldn’t send a card or say I’m sorry for your loss. How can they be that way. They remembered the dog very well.  Everything was A until he died and they didn’t respond. I think they should send cards to the long time patients that have died.

I phoned Daniel during busy spring break, looking for a new place for dog grooming, and though already booked for the week he squeeze me in that Friday. He was very professional and thorough in explanations of what to expect, went over his planned approach while making sure to meet any references I have or special needs for my dog. I felt confident in the safe environment (dogs individually kenneled and proof of vaccinations required). My dog was ready exactly when discussed, looked beautiful and came out wagging - she'd clearly enjoyed the experience! I'll certainly return consistently.

We were referred here after several trips to our local vet and they were able to immediately diagnose and treat the difficult problem with my dog's eye. His eye was not healing normally due to a (genetic?) problem with how his corneal cells worked. They treated him for this problem twice successfully. One visit for treatment and one for follow up. Although they were not cheap, they took care of him more quickly and therefore the treatment by the eye specialist was more cost-effective.
