    Dorothy McGinty
Dorothy was so incredibly helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable. She listened thoroughly to my need and situation and then guided me to just the right policy for my family. I will absolutely work with Dorothy again in the future and now have her in my contacts for all of my health insurance needs. Thank you, Dorothy!

    Gwinnett Medical CenterLawrenceville
I sent my 89 year old mother over there by ambulance for emergency treatment this monday morning. I gave the ambulance EMT her full name, social security number, date of birth, her doctors' names, and my name & phone number (her son). Well I thought she was in good hands now over at "Gwinnett Medical Center" so I'll go on to work and go see her after work. After I get off work I immediately call the hospital to find out exactly where she was placed, so I could quickly get there. Well I was informed by the admissions desk that they had no listing or record of her anywhere! I could not believe what I was hearing cause the EMT driver said she would definitely be brought to that hospital, and not to worry. Someone had previously advised me to try that hospital. So now I'm starting to panic a little cause I've never "lost" someone by ambulance on the way to the hospital. So I call 911 to find out where the heck my mother was taken. They check their records and say definitely "Gwinnett Medical Center". So I call back over to the hospital and make sure I give absolutely all relevant information and am told that no there is no listing or record of her! Well now I am starting to panic so I call 911 back again and demand that they call the ambulance service and immediately contact me. In a few minutes they contact me and say definitely my 89 year old mother was admitted into that hospital, and that they would call over there and try to locate her. They call back and tell me that my mother was admitted as an anonymous "Jane Doe" because they were unable to contact me to verify her! So instead of accepting any of the full clearly written information written by my hand and given to the EMT, and I'm sure properly presented to the emergency department, the hospital enters her into their system as an anonymous "Jane Doe"! Instead of simply listing her as "tentatively until verified" under her own presented name! So any family members won't be traumatized thinking that their loved one is lost somewhere! That's not a very "caring" and "considerate" and "thoughtful" policy for a major hospital to have. In my opinion!

    North Atlanta Urgent Care
It went extremely well. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. They would have accepted my insurance but I still had deductible. I had to pay up front which was fine by me because I hate going to doctor and don't have any idea how much it costs until after services rendered. Reasonable price at $129.

I was waited on by Dr. Shuck who had a pleasing bed side manner, listened and did not appear to rush as quite a few doctors do these days. They confirmed muscle and not kidney, which was a huge relief. They Called in prescriptions to my pharmacy for inflammation and muscle relaxer. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at pharmacy, prescriptions were ready. I have had other instances where doctors promised to call in prescription but didn't until I followed up.

He also suggested I may want to see a physical therapist or chiropractor for other back issues. When I said I was afraid of chiropractors, he told me it was always preferable to get referral when possible. I asked if he could refer and he gave me two. Because he appeared genuine, I feel comfortable investigating the help I am sure I need. Highly recommend!

Bruno Nascimento - Health & Life Insurance Broker
The broker, Kim, took my information and thoroughly researched which policy might work  best for me based on my  medical history and medications.  I was very pleased with the results and impressed with her knowledge of health insurance.  I have referred several others to her and they have been pleased with the results.

They are fabulous and I could never have such wonderful care.  If you have Kaiser Health Insurance then all your doctors are Kaiser doctors or related to Kaiser.  If you go to a large building like a hospital and there are a lot of doctors there.  You  see several doctors in the same place.  But the Kaiser doctors work for Kaiser so they get paid a salary.  So you never get to that thing where you feel like they are rushing you because they need to get more people in, they don’t care because they are being paid anyway.  They will really take their time with you.  They are always other people that they can refer you to and whenever you need to see another doctor in Kaiser your health information are shared to all these people.  So the next person can see exactly what is going on.

    Northside Hospital
I love Northside! We took a tour before hand to know what to expect before the birth of our child. Everything went exactly as they said it would. The facilities were excellent, the nurses were great! it took a little while to check in despite having us pre-registered though. the rooms were huge and nice - I have seen Piedmont's rooms and they don't compare! all the amenities they offered were fabulous...from family waiting areas, to lounges, to drinks, to lactation specialists. I will be back for my next child. Bedside manner - amazing!

As part of most standard HMOs, a pregnancy is under a and quot;global chargeand quot; so my office visit was covered with nothing to pay on that day. Additionally with my child's visit, preventive services are now included with no copay as part of new health care ruling this year. So there are some pros but the cons are that my deductible and co-insurance max have DOUBLED! So, when I deliver my second child, my out of pocket price will be doubled from just one year ago. Again, with new health insurance legislation coming about, this is to be expected across the board. Most health insurances are about the same in this respect. I can't really tell you that Coventry tries to set itself apart from others (I have had Aetna and BCBS) but it does an adequate job across the board and their website is fairly easy to navigate. Having an open access HMO is helpful when trying to seeing specialists - I don't have to get a referral and there is no limit to number of visits.

    United Healthcare
Over the years, we've had surgeries, illnesses, emergencies, and United Healthcare has taken care of the bills. We've never had them kick something back and say they wouldn't cover it. There have been times on a weekend, I have called a nurse on call and been really pleased with the personal nature of the response. While the insurance is provided by my husband's employer, we do have to pay for a portion of the coverage. I feel it is quite reasonable.

    Dekalb Medical
I have had major back surgery and two knee surgeries in the last few years. I have had excellent services. They have a meeting once a year for people who have had all kinds of orthopedic surgery to share their experiences and offer their suggestions with the nurses and the other people, and that helps other new patients who are coming in and have just had the surgery. They have answers to my questions. They take me in right away and if anyone is cut and bleeding they will see to them fast, especially heart and blood pressure patients. They are very good and they are very clean. They are very friendly and nice. They come in to make sure I am comfortable and see if I need any treatments. They have very good doctors, they have good bed side manner and their effectiveness of treatment is good. I rate them highly. I will continue to use them in the future.

    Dekalb Medical
I had a pretty decent experience while I was in the hospital. I was actually there three different times; all semi-related to the same item. As far as an emergency room, it took them from 11 o'clock in the morning to 8 o'clock in the evening before they were able to clear a bed for me. In the mean time there wasn't any problem, it was just the matter of waiting. In terms of punctuality, they did things on time. In terms of staff friendliness, it could not be better. In terms of billing and administration, I did not like the bill but the insurance paid the bill hundred percent. I would use this facility in the future.
