FANTASTIC!! We were very pleased from the start, with their personal attention to our work plan, quote and handling of all our building permits to the quality of work and the timeliness of the project. Your team basically rebuilt our house and we are ecstatic with the level of workmanship your team delivered. I wanted you to know that Carolyn and I would love to meet with any of your prospective clients that are considering a complete home remodel and show them the before and after photos of our home. We love the final product and truly appreciate the design help your team provided during the process. We cant thank you enough for this experience and would do it all again. We are truly amazed that you were able to complete this project in less than four months from permitting to final walk through. Other contractors quoted us 12 months to get the job done.

We are delighted with their work and couldn't be happier with our new screen porch. They covered and protected the flooring while painting the ceiling and did a great job cleaning up and hauling away left over lumber. All the workers were very profesional. We were so pleased with work that we provided lunch one day for them. I highly recommend them and plan on using the when we're ready to finish part of our basement.

    One Source Pressure Washing LLC
Steve provided the estimate in July and worked with me until I had other projects completed on the exterior of the house.   He arrived when he said he would and completed the job in a very timely manner. I would recommend One Source for any pressure washing service you may have.

Nightmare. Jim presented himself as a company with full crews to perform each aspect of the renovation. The first crew left a few days early for a "large" job. Several of the items we had agreed upon were "covered up" rather than repaired. His paint crew turned out to be a young man and occasionally 1-2 inexperienced assistants. He would drop this young man off at our home without the proper tools and pick him up in the afternoon. Jim insisted that he paint even though temperatures were below the recommended conditions. He brought in one scaffold that had to be reassembled every time they moved. Many areas he painted did not cure properly and are streaked. Jim insisted that we order our shutters ASAP because it could take up to two weeks for special orders and we had to pay up front. We wrote him a check on November 5th specifically for the shutters. The shutters had not been delivered by early January after continued promises of delivery. We became suspicious when he told me that "he had to borrow from Peter to pay Paul". Mid January Jim told us he needed to collect some money. We found two mathematical mistakes and some duplication on two of his documents and I ran a spread sheet to ensure that our numbers were correct. He came by to pick up a check and I shared the spread sheet with him. We asked him about the shutters and he said they would be delivered the next week. We gave him a check for $5,000 (over half of what he requested). I asked him to review the spread sheet and let me know if there were any mistakes. He could have come back the next day and discussed any discrepancies. However, on January 23rd he sent us a 3-page irrational, ranting email. The tone of it was so bizarre and unprofessional, we became leery of any further contact. He left us in a horrible mess: deck furniture stacked in the woods, trash strewn in our yard, and incomplete projects. We ordered our doors from Home Depot and he was to provide Home Depot with the correct measurements. The measurements were wrong and his contractor had to build up the thresholds on our main house and guest house. In addition, he purchased hinges that were the wrong size and shape. I have renovated properties across the country and have never experienced anyone like this. The first thing he did was deny us the 10% discount offered by Angie and it just went down hill from there. It appears that our only recourse is to charge him with "theft by conversion" and/or take him to court. We do need professionals to help us finish the job. We brought in a business to rehang our downspouts that Jim had left lying in our yards and they found where a rotten cornice had been caulked over and painted to disguise lack of repair. He left our power panels on both houses loose after installing the siding. The power will have to be shut down to reattach. I could go on and on. All correspondence and pictures are assembled in a binder. We have offered to "settle" with Jim when he delivers our shutters and his work has been checked by industry professionals. In the meantime, I would recommend that you remove him from your referrals. Please don't let other patrons fall prey to this unprofessional, underfunded man. P.S. I cannot change the address on this questionnaire. The work was performed at 380 Frederick's Cove, Dawsonville, GA 30534

I will report on the finished project.

    UPDATED SEPTEMBER 18,2012:

With the work done, we are very happy with all the changes and the quality of the work performed. Jason and his crew made the process as painless as possible and did it as quick as possible. They were fairly neat and clean (they had very little outside space to work). From a price point compared to other quotes we had they preformed miracles. We certainly will use Atlanta City Builders and Remodeling when the kitchen remodeling is done.

An awesome company. The first thought that popped into my mind. Scott and his crews are the best in what they do and their “hands on” approach and customer service is top notch. Scott and his foremen were always there for us, whether through phone, email, or in person, to answer all questions and to provide info that we didn’t even ask for. The design approach was great fun and we learned so much.

    OLD SCHOOL REMODELING
In short - I could not have done it without these guys. They are the most honest, trustworthy, dependable and skilled workers I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I brought them in on recommendation to build a large deck - I kept them for 6 months to be my primary contractors on the rest of my complete house renovation. They take immense pride in their work and I built a complete trust in them to provide me with critical guidance through every step of the renovation. My recommendation--do NOT hire a general contractor - hire these guys, they do their own work (don't sub out) and can call in other trusted teams as necessary. My house is absolutely gorgeous and will last a lifetime - thanks to these guys. My highest recommendation.
