    I called Lightning Bug Electric because my brand new dryer quit working, and I didn't know if the problem was the electric outlet, the breaker, or the dryer itself. Jeremy arrived the same day I called, within about 90 minutes, and traced the problem to the installation of the dryer cord (the insulation had rubbed off, creating a short), which the appliance company came and replaced. But the breaker needed to be replaced anyway, which he did. I also had him install three basement ceiling lights, repair a chandelier, and determine why a kitchen LED ceiling light was not working. He also gave me advice on replacing my smoke and CO2 detectors, and wired in or wireless alarms. He was very professional, pleasant, and helpful on a day that started with a great deal of frustration for me. I will use Lightning Bug Electric again, and I will ask for Jeremy. I used a 10% off Angie's List coupon, which helped with the price, but the cost of the ceiling lights was the same as with other electric companies that had given me estimates in the past.

    Frontpoint had the kit delivered to my home with 3 days. This was a do it yourself install, but they provide videos for how to install, and they will talk you through the installation if needed. Additionally, they ensure installed piece of equipment is detected and working during the installation call. I had one defective sensor, and they immediately sent a replacement. Installation was quick and easy. The equipment I purchased is mine, and I can take the system with me when I move as it is all wireless. I was quite please with the service and products purchase.

    The technician arrived on time, was friendly, professional, and explained everything in detail.  The old ADT alarm panel needed to be switched to an EMC panel.  This was done quickly and all aspects of my security system works perfectly.

    They were absolutely awesome. It was fantastic. In fact, one of the owners is the one that came out and he lives in downtown Atlanta. He came out on Friday, and I told him that my husband worked downtown and wouldn't be home until after 7, and he came out here. He was very thorough, in fact, some of the things that I was asking about such as additional sensors and glass break sensors, which would have made him more money, he told me they kind of redundant. That it would just be spending money for something that I didn't need. So, he actually saved me money. One thing I liked about them, as opposed to a different home security company, is they don't have a delay. He explained that typically when an alarm goes off, they may delay up to two or three minutes to give me time to reset the alarm before the service will call me. If someone breaks into the house, two or three minutes is like a lifetime. I was very, very pleased that these guys do not have a delay. I know that for a fact because I have accidentally opened my backdoor forgetting that I had the alarm set and the alarm is going off, and before I got back across the room to the phone from turning the alarm off, the phone was ringing and it was them. I have had this happen several times and they call me back in under a minute. They are absolutely awesome. The installer was very thorough and very professional. Bless his heart, he was here all day long because I had a full perimeter system installed. I have glass break sensors and motion detectors on the rooms downstairs and upstairs. He was here a minimum of 8 hours. He was very polite. I felt sorry for him, I was trying to feed him a sandwich because he was here all day but he said that he had brought something with him. He just went out to his truck in the driveway, ate his sandwich and came back in and finished the work. He was really good about explaining to me and my husband how to program the alarm. He told us how to check it and walked us through and showed us each piece of equipment that he installed and explained its function to us. He didn't just hand us a book and tell us to read it. He had been here a long time, I know he was tired, I had quite a few things done. He was very professional. I think I offered him coffee and he did actually accept that because it was cold. He always had booties on his feet and it wasn't raining. He went everywhere, up in the attic and down in the basement as well. I was so pleased with them. Apparently, he is a long time employee, which I think most of their employees are. I think the man explained that they have three different call services in three different parts of the country that call me if the alarm goes off that way if one center is having problems with their phones another center can call. They were fantastic. I have recommended them nearly everyone in our neighborhood. I give them an A+! Their price was very good. Another thing that is fantastic is that I'm not locked into a contract. They just depend on the fact that they offer very good customer service and that I won't leave. I will be their customer for a long time.
