    Our sales person was great. They ordered the car for us. We went in and we looked over everything on what to buy there. I have to say that it was a good experience and they were professional. I’d say it was an excellent experience when they are professional. We went in there to look at the cars and the sales person was great and she explained to us about the new cars coming out and what’s going to be in those cars. In other words, she did an excellent job on telling us what was available and then we decided there was something we want and they were just coming out and so we ordered our car and she took care of everything with the order. She was outstanding.

    I recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealer and they claimed they inspect all used cars on their lot for issues. I went forward with the purchase, even after the sales manager insulted me by saying the thought I had a negative attitude! At this point I felt he was taking advantage of the fact that I was a woman trying to negotiate the deal on my own.  That should have been my Que to walk out but hesitantly I moved forward with the sale. A few days later took it to my mechanic and he called me with news.. the vehicle has several safety issues totaling over $1500.00. ( control arms, front assembly, dry rot tires, drive belt )  As a Lincoln dealership, I expected a little more integrity and professionalism. BEWARE of this dealer, especially if you are a woman going in there alone.  I will not purchase from here again.

    I used the Dodge website to build and spec a Dodge Charger SXT model and was pointed to Hayes as a dealer that had the car I wanted available. I researched the car on their website and received an email immediately from Jason Pirckle. I then called Jason to discuss my trade in and purchasing options. Jason was very pleasant to speak with and knowledgeable as to what I would get for my trade in and we discussed monthly payment options over the phone. We agreed on a price and trade in value for my car and established a time I would come into the dealership to purchase my car. He advised that the actual car I was inquiring about was in there Lawrenceville dealership, but that he would have it delivered to the Gainesville one free of charge and would have the car available for my viewing.



    The day came when I went to see the car and everything seemed to be in order right up to the end when Jason advised that I would need to put more money down than we previously discussed and agreed upon, my monthly payments would be more than we agreed upon and that my trade in was worth $500 less than we agreed upon over the phone. I could understand the trade in value changing as Jason nor anyone at Hayes had seen the car prior to me bringing it in, but I was not happy about feeling pressured about needing to put more down and paying more than I anticipated.



    We eventually agreed that I would make up the difference in the $500 trade in value with that much more in down payment and my monthly would go up $15 more than we discussed. I was happy with the end deal, just annoyed that Hayes states that they will have a decision to you in 15 minutes and will stick by it. That just was NOT the case.



    I'm not sure if I will use Hayes in the future to buy a car or not. It will depend on how the rest of the time goes on the life of my loan and service department at Hayes.

    I am writing this review as a cautionary tale for anyone thinking of buying a car at Atlanta Toyota.  There are some rules that are not clear when you leave the showroom floor.  To protect yourself make sure you have a copy of the agreed upon price of the car that you signed in the showroom.. Take a photo of the paper you signed with your phone. Do not let them ready the car for you i.e. do not let them program your phone into the car system before you go into the financial office. If you do, you will feel invested in the car, something I am sure Atlanta Toyota wants. Atlanta Toyota does not want you to walk out of the financial office if you become uncomfortable with the way things go.
    The reasons for these rules are that once you make a commitment to the car Atlanta Toyota changes the playing field. In our case once we were in the financial office the price of the car changed without warning or explanation.  We asked why the base price of the car changed and suddenly the financial manager was shuffling pages and we were shown lines that said this is what you will owe.  They suggested changing the down payment amount and the loan interest rate. Both of these apparently void the showroom agreement. They never explained that.  And yes,we did both of those things but only at the suggestion of the financial officer.  He never explained that doing so would alter the base price.  And these changes were made long after we pointed out that the base price was wrong. 
    We tried to contact our financial manager at Atlanta Toyota that day before 5 PM but he wouldn?t answer and did not return our messages. We could not contact the general manager because he was suddenly no longer with the company. Anyway, his mysterious absence does not explain why the financial officer never called us back. 
    We did hear from Atlanta Toyota when the showroom sales person called  to ask how the car was and about our experience .  We explained that we were not pleased with Atlanta Toyota. Then we heard from the customer service person.  We were told we had to come back in and they would try to find the problem.  Not wanting to go back to the showroom we sent emails pointing out the difference in the signed showroom price and the financial manager price. We also pointed out the changes made in the financial office were at the suggestion of the financial officer and that they had never been explained..  Emails from Atlanta Toyota assured us everything in the process was honest and appropriate. They never did address the problem of the difference between the showroom price and financial office price.  They wanted to do everything to make our experience a pleasant one. Do everything but honor the showroom price!
    As a precautionary warning: Do not change anything from the floor agreement once in the financial office.  Atlanta Toyota trades off mendacity and nuances in the law.  If you do use Atlanta Toyota count your fingers and your toes before you leave.

    Tremendous experience at IQ Autos - very low pressure sales and he let us test drive a couple of the vehicles without any hassle. Got a great price without a lot of haggling - paperwork was smooth as was the trade in process. Very happy with the service and would certainly recommend Ed and IQ Autos to others, especially those is the market for a used BMW who are in the Atlanta area. Great job by IQ Autos!
