    TRI COUNTY APPLIANCE REPAIR
Outstanding communication and superior customer service. In addition to the original repair request, I asked if he had time to check a refrigerator ice maker that wasn't working. Not only did he identify the problem, he had the part needed to repair it.

    TRI COUNTY APPLIANCE REPAIR
For a few days there was water under the refrigerator. I checked the lines, freezer line, & filter but the water pan behind the refrigerator was still full of water. Turning off the water valve in the wall didnt help because it wasn't a tight seal & it slowly dripped.
I called and left a voice message around 10 AM and Dennis returned my call an hour later. He already had several appointments that day, but he believed he could make it late in the afternoon. He called around 6 that he would be at my house in 20 min. Dennis is a very likable person, positive attitude, and so I see why he's gotten such great reviews. He listened to my description of the issue, what I had done to troubleshoot the issue myself, and then he started looking into the issue. After reviewing the water valve, the line, and the water inlet valve he determined the latter was the issue. He showed me mineral deposits that had been accumulating on the water inlet valve and you could see a slow drip coming from it. He needed to order the water inlet valve for my fridge and because it was evening it would take 2-3 business days. I mentioned that the water line had a slow drop itself so before he left he capped the line. Because he didn't fix anything he didn't charge me :)
3 days later he scheduled a 9 AM appointment. He called around 9:10 & he was 5 min out. It took about 20 min to replace the water inlet valve. We tested the fridge & no leaks!
I recommend anyone in the Newton or Rockdale Co. area to give Dennis with Tri County Appliance!

    Carnes Appliances and Contracting LLC
***WARNING***  Tony Carnes of Carnes Appliance and Contracting is now located in LaGrange GA but uses an invoice that has a Pine Mountain address. He ripped me off, took deposit and will not return my calls or refund my money. He come up with excuse after excuse. I have already filed with BBB and am going to file complaint with Governors Office of Consumer affairs and my local Police. Here is the phone number advertised on his car 706-350-8280, see FB for picture. He joined another Home service company called Thumbtack, had some positive reviews that is why I hired him. As of 12/04/15 he cancelled his account with them. They are trying to help but fear I will never get my money back.

    Appliance Tech Appliance Repair

Technician's name was:  John Fortuna.  I do not feel he is honest nor technically adept.  I paid $80 for his know-how.  I feel that I've been scammed.  He wanted me to order a new microwave and didn't know that parts could be ordered.  Parts (per GE) was the only option. He told me GE was lying.

    10/31/15 Update

The Sears technician saved me almost $500.00 from a con technician (Angie's List) incorrect and inflated diagnostic evaluation ( 10/6/15).

The Sears technician replaced a $22.00 switch to solve the problem and labor cost of $108.00.

The experienced technician (10/30/15) knew what the problem was from the description given ,"turn table not turning" and said a faulty switch was the problem and he was correct. This allowed me to return almost $315.00

in parts not needed (turntable motor and magnetron).

I called Sears after the con technician from Angie's List needed $111.00 more than the above stated contract.

I called American Express and contested the incorrect and inflated $80.00 diagnostic service fee, it was refunded.

I returned the not needed parts to GE  for full reimbursement.

Technician's like  John Fortuna (Appliance Tech Appliance Repair ) give Angie's List a bad reputation!

Beware of this corrupt con artist John Fortuna (Appliance Tech Appliance Repair ) posing as a technician!

They did what they said and we are very pleased with them. We would use them again. I was not at home when they came, my wife was and all she said was that they were very pleasant, very professional and he did a good job. We got their service card and we will contact them in case we need their services again. They came on time.

    GRIFFIN APPLIANCE
He advised me to purchase a new refrigeration. He informed me about different brands that might be a better choice, and which stores might have the best price. I was very impressed with his honesty and friendly advice. I will be calling him for all of my appliance needs.

    A A APPLIANCE SERVICE
My Whirlpool Duet was giving an F06 fault code. The manual said it was an electrical problem. I called AA Appliance and they were very prompt at getting out to my house when there was money to be made. The technician arrived at my house the next day. He had to order a part (I paid the $329 up front). He ordered and installed it next day. I told him I was wary about paying over $300 for a repair when I could go buy a new machine for just a little more. I was assured that with proper maintenance it would last another 10-15 years... 3 weeks later (~10 loads of laundry) it has the same fault code. I call back and am told someone will call me next day to set up an appointment. 3 days later I call again since I was never contacted. I get a call next day and am told that the technician can come out in the next 2-3 days. At the end of the third day I call again and am told he will come next day. He does come the next day and spends about 20 minutes at my house (complaining the whole time about how inconvenienced he is by coming to my house). In that 20 minutes, he only pops the cover off of the front of the washer and moves some wires around (that were only out of place from the original "repair"). He then leaves without checking to see if a 12 minute cycle will actually finish or not. Of course it faults again. I call him back and he tells me he'll have to order another part and will give me an quote on the part the following Monday. An entire week passes and I have not heard from him.
At this point I'm out $329 and have been wrestling with them to even look at my machine for almost 3 weeks. I call and demand a refund. While explaining my situation to Terry Haynes (the owner), he hangs up on me and sends subsequent calls to voicemail. I was very polite during the whole ordeal (no yelling/swearing etc). I even thought for half a minute that maybe he didn't hang up on me and just lost cell signal since there was absolutely no reason for him to hang up on me. After a day with no returned call though, I'm positive he hung up on me.
As a side note, maybe I should have realized they were a little bit shady before I called them originally. It was incredibly hard to find the name of the actual company when I went to file a complaintwith the BBB. They have several websites specialized for each city in the metro area. The one I found them on was appliancerepaircovingtonga.com. They have several more for hampton/conyers etc. Not in a single one of these websites does it actually say the name AA Appliance anywhere. After digging around the internet, the name of the company is either AA Appliance, AA Appliance Repair, or AA Appliance Service depending one whether you're looking at the invoice they gave me, Angie's List, the BBB website, or some yellowpages/superpages site (I assume they are all the same since They all have the same phone number (770-707-1614) and say to contact Terry).
AA Appliance gets a huge F from me due to the absolutely horrendous customer service accompianied by a failed $329 repair.

When I called initially, the receptionist called the service man for me to find out availability. She was very courteous and helpful. They ended up working me in on the day I called which I appreciated. They got it fixed and did a good job. They replaced the heating element and it works fine now. I would definitely use them again.

    Appliance Discount Outlet
We paid $98 for a new part and $98 for the service call. They were very careful not to make a mess, they used little plastic socks to keep the house clean. The gentleman was very pleasant that worked with us.
