"Promised to come out yesterday. Did not. Came out today. Did not give me an estimate. Worked 2 and 1/4 hours and told me that the reason it was 825 dollars is that this was an emergency call and that other plumbers were also charging time and a half. Asked him how much he charged an hour and how 89 an hour times 2.25 could be 825, even if at time and ...more a half. I will never call them or trust them. If all plumbers are doing this, then good for them. I don't know how many people make 367 dollars an hour. What a racket.

" with it. I had called several plumbers prior to calling this one based on a recommendation for another service provider. All other plumbing companies I called and have dealt with take the service fee off when the work is done. I have never heard of anyone charging to come to your home when they end up doing the work. I also felt that $120.00 to change out a line is outrageous.
I do want to give them credit for being prompt; I called one day and they were available the next day.
I selected this provider without looking at Angie's List. I will take the time in the future to check out previous ratings before just taking a recommendation from a trusted service provider. I should have brought myself up to speed on "charges" that could be presented by plumbers.

again he called prior to arriving. He got right to work and stayed busy the entire time. He didn't mind us looking over his shoulder from time to time and was always willing to field questions as to what or why. He came with all the equipment required to complete the job. He worked right through the lunch hour without taking a break. Each project was done well and with attention to detail (like caulking when he did not have too) Upon job completion, he worked through the testing with us with him so that we'd be comfortable the job was dome right. He walked us through operation of the water heater and valves, and how to maintain in the future.

I also told him I had an Ikea Vanity and he grumbled a bit but gave me an impression that he installed one for a previous customer. He also asked me if I had a two sink vanity or a one sink which I replied two thinking he was asking about what I purchased.
