    Affordable Home Repair
Horrible to say the least. George estimated 3 weeks to complete the project. It's now been 4 + months with little actually completed. The workmanship is sub-standard, with much having to be redone. He uses unskilled workers. I could have done better myself and now wish I had. They do not show up when expected. When they do, they work a couple hours then leave, not returning for weeks at a time. They left the bathroom floor COMPLETELY open, so the ground was visible, for three weeks. The bathroom is still not usable after 5 weeks. The workers never cleaned up after themselves, leaving trash in the yard. I would never recommend them to anyone. The original agreement was, no pay till job was completed to my satisfaction. Since then, they've asked for 2 advances of $1000 each, with the explanation, their workers wanted to be paid. Now, George will not return my calls or emails. Don't be fooled by the video and recommendations you find on the Affordable Home Repair website.

It seems like a lot of times their talking to other people it was reasonable I didn't want to spend the money. They came out right away they came out I think the next day so that was really and he gave us a estimate that turned out to be the exact price they didn't run into anything they didn't come up with anything else and the screens they put on outside on the vents looks good at first I  was kind of  like hew I don't like the way it look but it looks good, so I was happy overall and they even had a financing company that they went through like a ninety day interest free so that was good too.

First of all we need to say is they were the best from start to finish. We couldn't have been happier with the work done. They were a little more then the other companies but Mike Gunter made me feel comfortable and the work and all is finished and we are very very happy.  They worked with financial arrangements and everything.  I would recommend them to anyone, that wants the job done correctly. Great company.

I'm adding to my previous review. Energy Savers STANDS by their work! They offer exceptional follow-up service and if there is ANY issue with their services perform! While my particular installation is problematic and requires additional steps to complete the installation; Energy Savers continues to stand by their work! The customer service is exceptional! I hope my install is completely resolved, but I have many assurances that it will!

The project went very well. They showed up on time. Had some equipment problems, but they were able to get them resolved and completed the job on schedule. They completed all the necessary paperwork to obtain a cash rebate from Georgia Power.

The air duct replacement was completed quickly. At first, the air ducts were quieter and seemingly performed better. However, since the installation the ducts have become noisy and there is no noticeable difference in the air distribution throughout the home. The main register rattles as well as a kitchen vent. The air duct replacement did qualify for an official utility company rebate and was supposed to improve airflow. The dust accumulation on the register has decreased and overall there may be a slight decrease in dust accumulation with the older ducts being quite dusty.
The installation of the insulation was very expensive and there has been no noticeable difference in heat retention within the home. Insulation was added to the old to increase the r-value from around r-9 to r-38. Also, baffles were added along the sofitt vents to improve airflow inside the attic. Additionally, can lighting was sealed and entry-points for dust were also sealed (i.e. fan boxes, lighting fixtures). Newer can lights were sealed with spray foam and "tin caps." Old can lights were sealed with tape and spray foam. Insulation was spilled into a can light, which is a potentional fire hazard with no regard for safety. All in all the cost did not seem to justify the means, which improved the dust marginally. The work order was not followed per the customer's request, which resulted in a refund for work not completed.
While each individual case is different, the cost vs. pros for this professional service seemed to outweigh any benefits. While this review is posted during the beginning of winter months, hopefully the heat retention from the added insulation will improve energy costs. The customer service was good, while the customer requests were not followed completely. We had to repeat the work details many, many times and this was not what we expected from a professional service. I would recommend this company for any A/C installation or duct work, however insulation would be skeptical.

    Fresh Start Home Services
Fresh Start Steve has helped me around my house on several occasions, so of course we called him right away to help with my Sister's new house.  Steve is always so easy to work with, even when his clients are 3 slightly high maintenance females wanting everything to be 'just so'.  He is very patient and will walk around and discuss all the details with you until you are satisfied.  If you feel something isn't quite right, he will work to make it right.  Furthermore, his crews are pleasant too!

I received a response to my request for an estimate timely and someone came to my house the same day and provided the estimate. I was informed of everything that was needed to properly insulate my home. I actually requested the crawl space under my home be insulated. The owner of the company told me it really wasn't necessary ( which was refreshingly honest ) Since I insisted, he gladly did the work as I requested it and added a new moisture barrier. They were at my home exactly when they told me they would be there, the work was finished to my satisfaction within the same day. I was completely satisfied with the work they did for me.

    Professional,
    On time,
    Reliable,
    Excellent work,
    done right the first time!
They even cleaned up before they left.
These people really know what they are doing.
They do it right.  They do what they say, when they it will be done,
and at a reasonable cost.   They beat everyone else's estimates.
My house has NEVER been cooler, they did the paperwork for GA Power rebates.
The financing was 0%, can't get any better than that!
I am so pleased with their work :)

I would recommend them to others.  They were on time and the employees were clean, neat, and professional.  They cleaned up after themselves.  The sales person listened to my concerns and provided materials related to the concerns.  They installed a register in our master bedroom, foyer, storage house, and porch.  They installed insulation and did an energy audit.  We had a problem with odor on the porch and closed up a register so that the scent would not come in the house.  They did another energy audit to make sure everything was safe for my daughter.  They installed a heat pump and new duct system.  They also installed an attic zipper bag to keep us from losing heat.  They obtained all the required permits from the city.  They did what I asked them to do.  They found a company that would allow me to pay the bill 36 months interest free.  Keith Kinchen was our sales person.  I told them there was a problem with our storage house and porch and they said someone would come out the next working day to look at our concerns.  They wrote up the information with Georgia Power to give us a rebate because of the energy improvements.
