    The Ultimate Handyman
I paid for professionalism, labor and timely completion of a job given the tight time window of fair weather conditions that existed. I am satisfied with the job outcome. I paid $2,395 for the paint job/prep and related tasks. I paid $50 for the peep hole. I paid $95 for the repair of the lower base of the front entrance columns. The last three tasks were performed gratis. As he himself stated, Mr. Weatherby's name and reputation is on all the completed work. Mr. Weatherby likes to paint.

    Notch Works Plus
I was originally planning on doing it myself but had concerns. I found out about Notch Works Plus and decided to give them a shot. Eric made the entire process so much easier and I was glad that I didn't have to worry about a thing. He was punctual and respectful. He even cleaned up after they were done, which was nice because I've had contractors that have left a mess I the past. I'm glad that I didn't pay attention to the only negative review that he had. I do service work on homes in a different field and I know that there are some customers out there that aren't satisfied no matter what you do. He's even been willing to walk me through a couple of small diy projects that I've taken on. I definitely plan on calling him when I get ready to put in a new gate on my privacy fence.

    The Glass Guru of Columbus
Failed to notify me they would be late for initial estimate and other visits; communication with customers needs improvement. Unable to complete work as scheduled due to extreme weather delay, but arrived on time when rescheduled. They had painted the exterior of the new door using paint I provided, but did not paint interior because my paint was unusable. Because they waited until installation to purchase new paint, what should have been a two-hour job took five or six hours (they had over a week to get paint and prepare the door, but did not do so). Finished product and installation were as promised. Workmen were courteous and professional.

    Affordable Handyman Service
It was great. He did the door in less than an hour. And it took him a couple of days with the bathroom. The bathroom looks great and he cleaned up after himself. I have already asked him to come back and do the other bathroom! Oh and i live in a mobile home and everyone stops me and tell me how nice my door is! Great job Mr. Jason! So if you live in a mobile home and is having trouble finding someone to remodel he is the one to call....he treated it just like it was a big house in green island hills!!!

Horrible to say the least. George estimated 3 weeks to complete the project. It's now been 4 + months with little actually completed. The workmanship is sub-standard, with much having to be redone. He uses unskilled workers. I could have done better myself and now wish I had. They do not show up when expected. When they do, they work a couple hours then leave, not returning for weeks at a time. They left the bathroom floor COMPLETELY open, so the ground was visible, for three weeks. The bathroom is still not usable after 5 weeks. The workers never cleaned up after themselves, leaving trash in the yard. I would never recommend them to anyone. The original agreement was, no pay till job was completed to my satisfaction. Since then, they've asked for 2 advances of $1000 each, with the explanation, their workers wanted to be paid. Now, George will not return my calls or emails. Don't be fooled by the video and recommendations you find on the Affordable Home Repair website.

Excellent job on handicap ramp and blends in well with front of house, have received several compliments on the ramp and how it actually adds to house.  I have to give an average rating on the rest of the job for the following reasons:  installed a wide raised shower threshold which narrowed the width of the shower considerably which makes the shower very hard to maneuver in for a handicapped person and is uncomfortably tight, the drain in the floor of the shower is off center and the tile and lip of the drain cover is higher than the shower floor which causes a puddle of water in the shower and the water will not drain and has to air evaporate, the pocket door scrubs when opening and closing causing the door to be hard to open and close and scrubs the paint off the door and there is a 1 1/2" gap between the bottom of the door and the floor threshold, the pocket door finish is very rough in several places, the paint finish is very rough in several places in the bath and hallway, the bath door jam trim comes down on top of the end of the relocated HVAC vent which causes the other end of metal vent to raise up off the floor and my wife has cut her foot and toe on the raised end of the vent at least twice, plastic or cloth protection was not placed on doorways adjacent to the work area and a large amount of sheetrock dust invaded the other rooms in the house and a cleaning service had to be hired by the home owner to remove the dust, and a different brand of toilet was installed than what was called for in the contract and had to be replaced with the correct brand.  Overall, attention to details was lacking.  The contractor was involved in several other project jobs at the same time which took the contractor away from this job frequently and may have contributed to some of the unsatisfactory work.

    Window World of Chattahoochee
The communication from the office was not so good, but the installer Karl & crew were great. They did an top rate job and were very courteous. The windows and door are good quality, and I can already tell a difference from replacing old single pane.

All repairs well l done .  Jason and his guys were timely and professional. He picked up all items (i needed for repair  (including door/frame)so it was included in the price paid.  He did tell me that exterior brick may eventually need replacement.  House was built in the late 50s. Appreciate his punctuality and will use him again when needed.  Thanks, Jason

Excellent.  Pro-Garage Doors will always be my first choice for any door or door lift problems.  This company installed my doo originally and has since replaced the lifter and bottom door guard.  Always excellent work.

Included in the price was that he was supposed to come back and install 3 sections of nail edging in 3 doorways where carpet had been cut and stopped in the doorway up against where we just had a tile floor installedin the kitchen and dining. The nail strips would have been set into our slab concrete floor. He never came back to install the nail strips and we called at least 3 times and he never called back and the nail strips are still not installed and the carpet is loose in the doorways where it needs to be secured. He has not finished the work he was paid to do. The caulking around the outside of the steel door where the frame meets the brick is a bit messy. We were wrong to trust him to come back, wrong to pre-pay him to install the nail strips.
