    A K Remodeling & Design Services
The work is beautiful and classy. The attention to detail is what impressed me the most. Brant and Greg are trustworthy, friendly, and meticulous. I have another project scheduled and will continue calling AK Remodeling & Design for any other future work. Brant can do most anything!

    Rayne Storm Electric
Joe and Pete did an excellent job! A few of the lights we had installed required a lot of patience to put together and install properly. Joe was extremely patient and a pleasure to be around. They spent two days at our house installing all the lights, and it was well worth every penny spent! I would absolutely use these guys again!

    Van The Plumber, Inc.
Called Van at 10:30 on a Saturday morning, he showed up a few hours later with our replacement water heater and installed it with no problem in a timely manner. Also had a few questions about a troubled toilet and he had it all fixed up in a matter of seconds. Super knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend to anyone.

    Affordable Remodeling & Roof
From start to finish, we could not have asked for a better job! Affordable Remodeling came in with the lowest quote and exceeded our expectations for what could be done in our house. Shane Kemp was good to provide prompt, detailed quote, and offer sources for best prices on items. Crew arrived on April 27, and was quick to cover all affected areas with plastic to protect household items. Demo went quickly, and each day crew was on site, they were good to work quietly and efficiently, cleaning up after each day's work. Shane stayed in communication, providing us timetable of when to expect workers and scope of project progress. Crew finished on May 13, and we could not be happier with the finished project. We now have a beautiful kitchen, master bath, master bedroom, and even a refreshed garage landing - all thanks to Affordable Remodeling.

They had various employees depending on what the job was, it was staffed appropriately. They are easy to work with and you get what you envision. He did exactly what I wanted and gave a lot of advice on the design. He worked with a design lady to make sure everything looked good.

    Affordable Remodeling & Roof
The entire process was great.  I was able to get a quote from them prior to closing on the house so I had a firm idea of what I was in for prior to closing.  They started the week after I closed and hit the ground running.  They have multiple talented crews (carpenters, painters, electricians, etc) that come in and get the job done quickly and done right.  At times it seems like chaos as they had so many people work on the house, but they all move fluidly like a choreographed dance.  They were very flexible and provided great guidance on things to do now to avoid headaches later (such as using flat paint to make touch ups easier between tenants), but also helped me stick to a tight budget by sharing their experiences with me and suggesting some things that don't need to be changed (such as a complete bathroom remodel of a functioning unit).
Both Shane and David shared their cell phones with me and stayed in touch with text and email when I was not at the job site.  Living close by, I was able to observe Shane checking in on the site in the mornings as I was dropping my daughter off at school.  Any time I brought anything to their attention they were quick to address it (such as the location of the bumpers on the cabinets and some moisture that came through the window during pressure washing).
It has been an amazing transformation and I am started getting calls from potential tenants before the unit was officially on the market.
This is what I have come to expect working with the folks at Affordable over the last 5 years - Shane, Ricky, David, Julie - all of them are always willing to step up to help and go the extra mile to make sure that I am satisfied.  This is why they have replaced my last two roofs, my church's roof, and remodeled my mother's home.  Best of all, they are competitively priced and will get the job done expeditiously.  I won't do any other projects without getting a quote from them first.

    Rodger's Remodeling & Construction LLC
When we first started the project, he came out and gave us a great proposal at a very low rate. His first impressions went a long way. At the outset, he required $2250.00 to order some supplies and columns; afterwards we then changed plans to use cedar posts rather than columns. The previous costs would go toward the new plans. He then asked an additional $3700.00 to start the job, and subsequently requested three more payments of $1800.00 each. We made the first of these payments to him. After which, the quality of the work started to seriously decline; it seemed like he was smoking more than he was working.

We decided to add an outdoor bar into the plans, which he quoted at an additional $1150.00. We rearranged the payments he had requested because he told us that he ?needed? the money upfront. We then agreed to pay him two installments of $2400.00, once during the job and once after. After the first of these payments we left for a short trip. Upon returning he was nowhere to be found.

After a week of trying to get in contact with him, he finally sent a kid to deliver some of the remaining supplies. It did not seem like he was going to come back out, and I got the feeling that he had no intention of finishing the job. He claimed that first his wife and then his baby were sick. We spent $10300.00 all together, plus a bit more for supplies we never received, and he did not finish a large majority of the work. I felt coerced and taken at the end of the experience.

In the end, he gave me $600.00 back to retrieve his tools and equipment. I simply wanted things to be over and done with, so I agreed to sign something stating that I would not sue him or sully his name. The straw that finally broke the camel's back was that the final load of lumber he delivered was not what we had agreed upon; not even the correct type of cut and I had to pay to have it delivered.

The best part of the entire experience was the opening letter.

    G & E Tile/Construction
I am very pleased with the services provided by G&E TIle. Steve Kouvelas was professional at all times, he provided a detailed estimate to remodel our 1950s master bath including various options for us to choose from to fit our budget. We choose them for the work and they removed an old large poorly tiled enclosed shower, walls and vinyl floor. They repaired surprise water damaged framing, reframed a new shower enclosure and installed tile on the bathroom floor and tiled the shower, installed fixtures, frameless shower glass and painted the entire bathroom.  Along the way the owner Steve Kouvelas kept us informed of the day to day schedule, provided suggestions on the layout and gave updates to any additional charges due hidden issues or additional work we requested. These additional charges were very reasonable. We will certainly use G & E Tile for future projects.
