An attic system and crawlspace system were removed and replaced with new, modern and technologically advanced systems. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable and worked hard. No slackers here. The crew chief explained everything in the system and process. Reviewed all with me at the completion. Trained me on the new digital thermostat applications. Answered all questions. Was very knowledgeable, cordial and courteous. Canvas drop cloths along their work path. Cleanup was meticulous. Previously, I have used this company to install a new water heater; plumbing issue at the kitchen sink; and annual HVAC maintenance service. Every experience with them has been this positive. ACasteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & ElectricalMy Tech (Ben) arrived on time and had all his COVID gear on ready to go to work. He performed his checks inside first and explained everything was working well. He then went outside to perform his checks there as well. Once again and fortunately, everything went well there. He did do something I was impressed by because I’ve never seen it before. I heard water running and asked myself what would necessitate him needing water. Well, he was cleaning the unit and all the vents around the compressor and condenser. He said often times people would look at the vents around the condenser that are easy to see and if they looked okay, then presumably everything else was. He was actually getting the vents that had downward projection, so if you don’t get on your knees to look upward, you can’t see how dirty it really is and the problems it has potential to create. I’ve had several houses and several a/c systems, not mention AC Techs, but I never saw anyone go to these extremes to make sure my units were in proper order. When he finished, we did the paperwork and I complimented him on his efforts and workmanship.- Ron B.
