I hired them to take care of some water intrusion issues in my basement, and every individual I dealt with at the company was polite, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. The work itself only took three days when I was expecting at least a week based on the extent of what needed to be done. The team showed up on time every day, let me know when they arrived and left, and walked me through every step of the process to ensure I understood what needed to be done. They answered all of my questions and left the house and yard clean and neat after they finished up, despite the fact that there was a literally tropical storm coming through on the days they were working! They also quickly corrected a small issue caused with my water line. Most importantly, the job seems to have eliminated my water issues and came with a lifetime guarantee. ADRIVEWAYS R USThey had already replaced my retaining wall in August and did a fabulous job. I bemoaned the fact no one would ever see this area and Paul suggested a firepit. I ran with it. He suggested building the patio off the wall, which I'd never seen before, instead of out in the yard. He said the area would have the feel of an outdoor room, which it does. They came out on a Thursday and removed the grass from the area. It had rained a lot so they waited until Monday to pour the patio to give things a chance to dry. After pouring, two guys went on to the next job and two stayed to smooth out the concrete, etc. I figured they would be there for an hour. They were there the rest of the day, smoothing, making the edges pretty, and using a broom to add texture to the concrete to keep it from being slippery when wet. I already had my gas firepit and furniture ready. It was hard to wait for it to completely cure. I love the area, find it so relaxing, and look forward to years of enjoying it. If the need arises for more work of this kind, there's only one place I would call - Driveways R Us.- Rhonda S.

AOutdoor Makeover & Living SpacesWe wanted to remake an old screened-in porch into an open air pavilion. We also needed to upgrade an old deck and do some stonework. Outdoor Makeover listened to what we wanted, made many wonderful suggestions, and completed the project in a very reasonable time period. The crew was top notch--real artisans who were proud of their work and unstinting in their attention to detail. Navid was terrific. friendly, expert, and professional. As a result, we have an outdoor environment that is comfortable, useful, and extremely attractive. I have waited a year to make comments to see whether the improvements would hold together. ABOSS Stone Concrete & BrickThe demolition and installation crew was on-time and worked as a team to accomplish a significant amount of work in one day. In spite of leaves continually blowing onto the unfinished slab, the crew worked diligently to ensure a perfect finish. The clean-up crew did a great job stripping forms and removing debris. They even washed the existing driveway that got really muddy the day before. Very pleased and would highly recommend.- George B.

DREVIEW OF SUDLOW CONCRETE - ATLANTA, GA January 9, 2021 I hired Sudlow Concrete to remove my old driveway, pour a new driveway and install a stone apron at the street and replace the stone on my front porch. The driveway was poured on November 2, 2020 - 2-1/2 months ago. I have the following complaints: -The reckless, unfriendly workers tore up my irrigation system in several places. One of these was unavoidable. The others were pure arrogance and carelessness. They didn't mention it or flag the broken ends so they could be easily located and repaired later. I had to pay $450 for the repairs. -With a large concrete saw, one of the workers needlessly butchered a large bank of 20-year-old azaleas, which would have been easy to tie back or work around. -We wanted a driveway with a light brown color-tint, not bright gray. When I met the co-owner/salesman we discussed this and told him we wanted it to match one of the light brown stones on the front of our house. We selected a color called "Pebble" from the chart they provided. We paid $2300 for this, but the color is nothing like the "Pebble" color we selected. The concrete is gleaming gray - exactly what we did not want. -When I first met the co-owner/salesman, I told him specifically what type of stone, color and pattern I wanted for the apron and porch and I showed him a photo for him to match. Sudlow directed us to a stone yard who said they did not have that stone. I contacted the Sudlow co-owner and the rep in their office, and asked them to help me find what I wanted and what I understood was specifically included. Meanwhile the driveway was poured, with the recess at the entrance for the stone apron, leaving it impassable. Sudlow collected the check for the total job, less $3300 credit they offered for the incomplete stone work, which was in limbo. I called the co-owner and office rep again to ask for direction on how to get the stone work done, and neither called me back. After leaving several messages for the owner and at the office and having no response, it was clear that they had decided to dump me, leave me with an unfinished job and an impassable driveway and move on to the next job. When I contacted other stone masons I found that the job would cost far more than the $3300 I was credited. Since it was urgent to get the stone apron completed in order to enter my driveway, I had to pay much more to get another stone contractor who did a mediocre job. Clearly Sudlow was happy to take a large profit on the stone work without even doing it. Sudlow promises in their contract that the concrete will be 4-5" thick and 4000 psi. But if you dig up the edge at almost any place, it is 3-3/12" thick. After we wrote a negative review on their site we were contacted by a Trust Dale rep who has attempted to mediate this situation and keep me placated. And the owner came out and promised to make things right. The office rep called on December 21 to say that they would get back to us after the holidays but I have heard nothing from them. Now, 2-1/2 months after the driveway was poured, Sudlow has done nothing to make this right. They had a concrete stain subcontractor come out to discuss the color problem. He promised to get back to me mid-January. We'll see. I promise I have been pleasant and reasonable throughout this whole process. But we paid Sudlow $15,900 and we don't appreciate the way we have been treated, especially not returning our calls and leaving us with an impassible driveway. And we are unhappy with our the color and thickness of our driveway, our recklessly damaged irrigation system and our butchered azaleas.
