    The Appliance Doctor
Beware! Brand new refrigerator made loud noises intermittently but since it didn't happen immediately for the technician he refused to perform diagnostics, berated and mocked my wife and said she wasted his time. Further, he said she needed to have a video of the sound to show him, and that she needed to read the manual about when a technician should be called and he left without leaving paperwork or his name. He was extremely rude.

    Choice Home Warranty
Pool pump stopped working I called Choice. Within a few hours a repairman called and came within 24 hrs and fixed the pump. The dryer was not heating properly, I called Choice. A serviceman came the next morning. Super nice, punctual and true professionals came to our home and completed the work quickly.

    AAA Appliance Repair Service
Very well. Left an email message 10 pm Tuesday. Received a call from Mark first thing Wednesday morning. I took the 6-8 pm service time. John called at 7:30 pm and said he would be there at 8:30. When he arrived he knew immediately knew what was wrong with my refrigerator. He had the part on his truck and finished the job within 45 minutes. Now everything is cold again! I really appreciated how prompt AAA was and the late hour they worked to get my refrigerator working correctly. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

    Atlanta City Appliance Repair, Inc
Excellent. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and ordered the required parts. He returned a few days later to install the parts, using a non standard thermistor (SP?) due to non availability of an LG part. When that part proved to unworkable in the refrigerator he tracked down an LG model and replaced it very quickly. Great service!

    JOE'S APPLIANCE REPAIR
If I could give worse than an "F" I would. My experience started out OK. Joe showed up for our Monday appointment on time. After looking at the broken gas burners, he said he had to do some research about our issue and told me he would call that night or the next day. Never happened. About a week later, he called to say the parts were in. He ordered the parts without my knowledge and unaware of costs involved. I let it go. I'm so tired of chasing people down to do the work they said they would do. We made an appointment for the next Monday at 1:00. The time came and went without a word. On Tuesday morning he text "Tuesday or Wednesday". That's all the text said. No apology for not showing up or calling about appointment. I told him I had appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday and ask if we could make appointment for Thursday at 1:00. At 1:30 in that Thursday, my husband called to ask if he was coming and Joe answered the phone. He said an emergency had come up. I had text him on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning to confirm he was coming and he never answered. I know I had correct number. I'm glad others using Joe prior to me had good experiences but I will never use him again. He wasted a lot of time and energy and I'm back at square one.

This guy used to be good. I don't know if he has Alzheimer's or has just become very foggy, but it's not good. He overcharged us $60 for no reason and he came at a completely different appointment time and a day early, then was angry we weren't available. He always seemed to be hard of hearing and difficult to communicate with, not understanding me or my husband well (and my husband has the same mild-southern accent as him), but that with the memory loss/fogginess is too much. I try to communicate with him in writing, but he often doesn't respond, so phone it was. We made an appointment for a Weds, 2-2:30pm, and he showed up Tuesday at 10am, calling and knocking and left a very frustrated voice message. I had told him that we are never available before 2pm, but he blamed me anyway. He acted like we purposefully didn't answer the door. We work third shift, so we sleep mornings into the afternoon, during which time our phones are off. The doorbell doesn't work and it's a large house, so we never heard the knocking. I spoke to him later that day and I was nice about the whole thing, felt kind of bad for him that he was so confused. He said he'd come at the original time, the next day between 2-2:30. We waited and nothing. He finally called at 4:30 to ask if we were home. He acted like we were very irresponsible people who don't care about wasting other people's time. He showed up after 5pm, but failed to fix the oven. He said the issue was the thing we'd already had fixed, by him, which he'd forgotten about. He made comments like that we should answer our phones and he expects conversation while working. Then he overcharged us $60, without explanation, and without fixing anything. I had left and my husband was so frustrated he just paid it to get him out of there. He was only at our home for 20 minutes. I'm sure he charged that extra money because he was mad at us for not answering the door, a day before our appointment and a completely different time of day. The other thing that happened was before I called him to begin with, I'd sent him a message through Angie's List. I didn't hear anything back. Several days later I got a text saying "I can fit you in between this time and this time today." I had no idea who the text was from. That's all it said and I'd never received a text from that number before. I assumed it was a wrong number, so I said so. Instead of saying who he was, he said nothing. Several days after that, a similar text came in. Never said who it was, and I again assumed it was a wrong number. When I called him the following week, I realized he was the one who'd texted. It was very strange. You message someone through an online service, then two days later get a phone text saying I can fit you in today, no announcement of who it is or what it's for... And yet he was frustrated with me over this. Like I'm inconsiderate and have no regard for others' time. The whole experience was awful. He hasn't just gone downhill in the past year, he's fallen off a cliff. $160 and our oven is in the same condition it was before. He blamed the thing he "fixed" last time, forgetting he said that was fixed and this other thing was the problem. I was nothing but patient and nice to him. We're always friendly, hospitable, and generous with anyone who comes to our home. I don't think he has any idea that he has an issue with his memory, nor with communication. I would never use him again and recommend that you stay clear as well.

Wonderful service! Would never go anywhere else! Very professional, prompt, well-mannered, highly-skilled, trustworthy, reliable, and great with communicating the issue. He's a small-town type of guy (not a big company where you don't always know who you're getting) who knows what he's doing, works incredibly hard, and will give it to you straight and give you a very fair price.

    The Appliance Doctor
During the initial visit the Technician was polite and professional. I paid to order both Gaskets to have them replaced in about a week since we were closing during the first week of October on our home. We were the sellers. There were three problems with the actual install. First, upon inspection after replacement it appeared to me that the Tub Gasket had not been replaced at all as it was still too long on the left lower side and sticking under the Door Gasket. I called the company to ask why the Tub Gasket wasn't replaced as that is what I paid for. After a couple of calls by me the Technician returned my call. I simply asked why the Door Gasket wasn't replaced and the Technician immediately assumed I was attacking his integrity and proceeded to inform me of such quite abrasively. Second, I wasn't able to verify that the Tub Gasket was replaced as the Technician indicated he'd thrown both gaskets away in the Trash Containers in the Garage. We'd closed on the home that afternoon and I was unable to re-enter the home we'd just sold. Therefore, I am going to assume he'd actually replaced them. Third problem is that despite already knowing what the original problem was with the Gaskets the Technician replaced them exactly as they were prior without trimming the excess on the lower left side setting the Dishwasher up for a repeat failure. The entire conversation was one of a failed customer interaction. Both I and the Technician were quite angry. He at me for questioning his integrity, which wasn't at all why I called. And I at the Technician for his complete unprofessional behavior and customer skills. Bottom Line: =========== 1) Did the Technician perform the work as requested: Yes 2) Did the Dishwasher leak after the repair: No, and will not for a good while I am sure. Nonetheless, a reoccurring failure is absolutely inevitable given the way the gaskets are installed. 3) Would you recommend this company to any friends and family: Absolutely not, this Technician needs retraining on good customer service. I would never ever want to expose friend or family to this sort of treatment when the Technician is ever questioned about what he takes the questioning as an attack on his precious integrity.

Phil was meticulous! He is trustworthy and kind and stayed long after dark to make sure I was satisfied with the motion detectors. His attention to detail and willingness to please was paramount! Whatever your needs - look no further - this is your guy.

    Sears Appliance Repair
It was excellent. It had been part of an extended warranty. I bought it because they thought I was going to need it, although I did think it was high. They did the job and it works right. Their responsiveness was very good.
