    Green Truck Movers
The reason for this review is due to the poor handling of my broken television claim that took over three months to resolve. I hired Green Truck Movers to move my items from one apartment building to another on September 7, 2019. One of the movers dropped and damaged my 47 inch LG TV in my apartment. The mover proceed to contact this boss (who I later found out was not the owner) and confirmed that he damaged my TV . I and the mover proceed to take photos of the damaged TV. After the move was completed I received an invoice for payment along with mover noting on the invoice his name and statement that my 47 inch TV was broken . I called Green Truck the next day and was sent a claim form to complete along with an email to forward claim form and photos of my damaged TV. The first delay : I spoke with owner a week later who stated he never receive my claim info. I proceed to forward the claim info to the owner directly. The owner stated it would take 4 weeks for the claim to be proceed as the claim department had to contact the mover to get his statement and do an investigation. Four weeks passed. 2nd delay : I called the owner who stated the company was in the process of big move and he was unable to review the status of my claim has his computers were all packed up. I proceed for another 2-3 weeks to check on my claim with the owner with same excuse about the move. The owner final spoke to me about my claim and stated the claim was denied as the TV was properly padded when it was placed in the moving truck and could not have been damaged by Green Truck . I asked if he spoke with mover ? He said no. How can a claim be denied when the owner stated the movers statement was needed for the claim investigation? After several minutes of a heated discussion with owner, I come to find out his son was the one made aware of damaged TV the day of the move. Thus the owners lack of knowledge of the situation. I provide md him the name of mover who damaged my TV. A day later I called the owner back who confirm he had spoken with the mover who damaged my TV and confirmed the facts . All of this took place the week of Thanksgiving. A week and half later a call owner who asked me if the claims department had called me ? I stated no . He gave me number which I thought was for an insurance claim department. But it was some else in company who would handle my claim moving forward. Long story short Green Truck bought me a new TV and delivered it to my home personally on December 21, 2019. Im not sure if they actually have insurance, self insured (as a comment was mad that the mover would have to pay for my TV) or they decided to handle my claim without calling their insurance company do the sized my claim . But my claim was handled poorly and I will never use them again .

Georgia Pack & Load Moving & Storage
This company was very fraudulent and argumentative. We were given an estimate of $780, yet we were charge over 2500. The workers showed up , started packing. Half way through they said they brought wrong truck size. The workers said this happens all the time. Under estimate size and cost. The movers told us they would deduct 4 hrs off the bill due to all the drive time they had to make because of bringing the wrong truck. We were told that we would need a 26 truck and 4 workers, yet they brought a 24. The packers didn't bring any tools what so ever!!! We actually had to unpack boxes mid move to try and find screw drivers and allen wrenches and also pliers for the workers!!! They had nothing to take apart beds etc.The workers said all there tools were stolen or some thing to that effect. Was a total waste of our time and we had to pay for all this !!! Trying to find all the tools took over 30 min. Which we had to pay for in the grand total price!! They damaged my treadmill, and fridge. We were told to call the company to get the situation rectified and ask for the manager Reed. He was very rude and argumentative with us trying to make it like we were at fault with everything.Seemed shocked we would ask for money taken off etc.. He did eventually take off some money for the drive time but not the whole 4 hrs!!! And he only took off 300$ for the fridge damage . The fridge isn't even 1 yr old. My treadmill is a total write off now. Both sides of handles are totally off and broken!!! Left and Right!!!! Be aware they don't tell you about the insurance. They make you sigh stuff and you better read everything and not take there word for it. I don't even remember seeing anything about only covering damage for 1 item per move!!! Most items were not even put in the proper rooms, We have spent 2 days moving things to the correct room and are still at it. They too over 13 hrs to move us due to the wrong truck size. If they would of done things correct the first time the move would of taken 8 hrs tops. We will never recommend this company to anyone ever !!!! Beware.. If anything goes wrong they will try to not take any accountability at all. Very disappointed.

    Southeast Van Lines, Inc.
I don't typically write reviews but I feel I must after receiving service from Southeast Van Lines. We moved a large house having three levels (five bedroom house plus full basement) into a new home. Ben came out and provided a quote and was very professional however the quote was a little higher than we have seen. I ended up going with Southeast due to their estimate being fixed and will not exceed the quoted amount. Most companies will charge hourly and I didn't want any surprises at the end. They fit me in their schedule and I could not have been happier with the brew he sent out. Eli was the crew leader and he kept everything moving quickly. They sent out two trucks and six men. Each of these men were running the entire time and didn't stop. I literally mean they ran to and from the truck putting everything where it needed to go and reassembling all of our furnishings. This crew started at 9:30am and finished up at 7:30 pm and only took a 1 hour lunch break. They went the extra mile to ensure I was completely happy. Eli and the entire crew was very professional and had an awesome attitude. Thank you Eli and your entire crew for such a good job. You took a very stressful day and made it a lot easier on us. For those that are reading this review and wondering if you should select Southeast, don't even hesitate. You will not regret your decision. I sure hope I never move again but if I do, I will definitely be hiring them again...

Floors & Chores Movers Loading Unloading Helpers
The communication with F&CM was excellent! I had contacted using Angies List chat and then via e-mail. The appointment was set up on-line, I paid the $79 fee and was ready to go. The team was at my parents house minutes before the 9AM meeting time. When I pulled up at 8:57AM they were parked, ramp down and ready to go! I showed them the pieces and they were off to work. They did a great job wrapping all pieces with moving blankets, tape and shrink wrap. All was loaded and tied down within 30 minutes. They followed me to my home, brought everything in, paid and gone within 30 minutes!
Professional, good guys, did a great job and I was very happy how it all was handled. I highly recommend them if have have a small move that is too much for you to do! Excellent company to work with! Will use again!

    Chuck's Moving & Delivery Service
The crew did a great job!  This is the second time I have used this company for my residential move and both times they were fantastic.  The movers were very professional.  They worked hard the entire time.  When they did take a break, they let me know ahead of time and showed me the watch/time they were stopping and again when they were starting again.  They did not damage any of my furniture or belongings.  And the cost was very reasonable for the amount of labor and service I received.  I would highly recommend this company!

They were very good. They came out to give me an estimate so that I was surprised on moving. They were very friendly and professional. They each introduced themselves personally. The owner was available on site. I will use them again in the future.

    Atlanta Peach Movers
I was referred to Atlanta Peach Movers by a close friend who had used them before. I skipped using another company that I had used twice, who were excellent, to go with Atlanta Peach movers. What a mistake! Before we booked with them, they were very responsive to us. After we gave them the deposit and booked them, they stopped returning our calls. I left at least 5 messages, but no one called back.
On the moving day, they were almost 2 hours late. They said they had truck problems, which I can understand, stuff happens. Then, they brought a truck that was too small for the job. They had 5 people moving our small, 2 bedroom apartment, and it took them close to 7 1/2 hours to complete the move! For reference, the company that moved us into that apartment took less than 6 hours with only 4 men.
They said they would bring a special box for our grand father clock, and they didn't. They had to put our patio table into their pick up truck because it wouldn't fit into the truck they brought. When we were finally moved in, and they left, we started looking at our belongings. They had damaged several items, nothing big, but they were damaged. They broke the slate top to the patio table, put the slate pieces back in place, and said NOTHING to us about the damage!!! Really???
I called the company several times to talk to someone, and it took a while to get the right person on the phone. She said she would look into it and call me the next day. It took her over a week to get back to us, and the only compensation was to refund us $80, which equals 1/2 hour of their charge. I didn't claim the damaged items since it would have been less than our deductible, but I did let them know about it.
I was extremely disappointed in the moving experience with them, and with their customer service. They really should have done more to try to fix the issues. $1300 for a local move from a 1st floor, 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom, ranch style house, is way too expensive. Then to have items damaged and the movers not even own up to it is pathetic! Had they just said something at that time, the matter would have been dropped as far as I was concerned.
I will never use them again, and I will never refer them to anyone. i would hate to lose a friend over the quality of service they provided us!

    Hewes Family Movers
We moved to GA from CA in June 2013 but our new home was not ready until Aug. 2013. The movers we used from CA moved our home into a storage unit in GA, so once our home was ready in Aug., we had to find a local company to move our stuff from the storage unit to our new home. Upon many phone calls and research on Angie's List we decided to hire Hewes Family Movers and we are so glad we did. They arrived on time, even in the rain at the storage unit. Loaded up the trailer and van, which considering they did not know what the original movers had really done was a task in itself, they did a very good job of finding everything that had been taken apart and put in drawers that needed to be put together once it was in the new house.
The two young men were very professional and handled everything with care. We would not only recommend them to our friends we would also use them in the future if we needed in movers.
