Dr. Damian Dahr and his nurse were awesome. Dr. Dahr appears to be about my age and is the first dermatologist that hasn't yelled at me because of skin damage. I was born in the early 60s and grew up at Va. Beach and the Outer Banks during the 70s. The only "sunscreen" we had then was called suntan lotion and had an SPF of 4! Of course I have sun damage. Dr. Dahr reviewed my records from my last doctor (in another state) with me and noted any changes or clarifications.
I did have to have two biopsies taken and was told that they would call me within 2 weeks with the results, even if the biopsies were clean. (He then apologized for how long it took their lab to return the results.) I was called, and before the two week deadline.
I was seen a bit later than my scheduled appointment, but neither Dr. Dahr nor his nurse rushed through my appointment in order to "catch up."

The reception area is clean and comfortable. The receptionist is pleasant and welcoming. My wait, with exception to my first visit, was under 10 minutes. This was my third visit. I'm seeing Kincaid, she is very attentive and pleasant. She trimmed down the wart and froze it again. She has explained since the wart is on the palm it will be difficult to get rid of. She gave me a prescription for the druggist to mix, expensive and insurance don't cover it. She used it on her hand, worked on hers when nothing else did. She said I could try it or go back. On a whim, I showed her a small growth on my upper chest, it was gone in a blink of the eye.

I went for my first appointment, which took over a month to schedule. I had told them when I scheduled that me and my spouse were coming in together, and that we needed to be together (as my spouse is disabled and needs my help undressing/getting to the exam table) - something every other doctor we've ever seen had gladly accommodated. When we arrived, even though we again reiterated this need, they split us up. The doctor came to me first, and decided that they needed to do a punch biopsy, which they did immediately. This went well, and I got stitches and prepared to leave. The doctor gave me samples of a medication, and a prescription. I went to leave, and a nurse called me back - as I'd told them, my spouse needed help, and they were unwilling to help her - I needed to do it. I went back, helped her, and the doctor said she'd give her some samples (which they did not) and a prescription (which she did do) and sent us on our way. A nurse called me in about two weeks, and gave me the results of the biopsy by phone, and then hung up on me. I had an appointment scheduled the next day, and went in - I was told that my appointment was an hour earlier than my appointment card said, and they couldn't see me. I asked if they could at least take out my stitches, and they did do that, although they acted as though I was an inconvenience. I called in for a new appointment (they wouldn't schedule a new one while I was in the office that day, as they were too busy to even deal with me) and scheduled it - then an answering service called the night before my appointment (at nearly 8pm!) and told me my appointment was cancelled.
The medication I was put on, as I later noted, says in all the warnings that you should never be on it for more than 4 weeks, nor should you use it on large areas, nor should you use more than 1 tube every two weeks. Even at half the prescribed dose, I was using two or three times as much as I 'should' have, and for many more weeks than I 'should' have, per the manufacturer. I had horrible side effects, and when I called to ask about them, was told I needed to come in - which I can't do, since every appointment I make gets cancelled!
I also got a bill from a second facility for the biopsy - apparently even though the office did the procedure, they bill it as if I'd gone to a second facility to have it done, with an extra copay as well. When I contacted the billing office, I was both lied to, and treated as if I was trying to extort money from them instead of the reverse.
I will never go to this office again. I will actively discourage others from going as well. The doctor was pleasant, but the entire office staff acted as though we were an inconvenience at best, and most were actively hostile.

They are excellent, fast, prompt, thorough, just everything, I love them. I've been going to them for three years. The doctor is very easy to talk to and he is nice and friendly. I never have to wait. The office is very well run. I have no complaints. I would rate them overall an A.

Nice clean areas, had to wait more than 30 minutes. The procedure was explained thoroughly and done quickly. All my questions were answered.
