  • Dr. Muse and his nursing staff are very professional and kind. You must check your dignity and modesty at the door when visiting a urologist but they made it as comfortable and painless as possible. Dr. Muse did a thorough exam and recommended an additional kidney test. The test was scheduled for the next week as I was leaving that afternoon for my mother's funeral in Mississippi. I asked that the test not be scheduled until at least the next Wednesday or Thursday as I didn't know how long I would need to be out of town and explained the situation with the death of my mother. I received a voice mail from someone on his staff and they had scheduled my appt for the next Monday. When I called back, it was another staff member and they recommended that I reschedule with the hospital, which I did.
I returned for follow up to find that test was normal and Dr. Muse did a scope inspection of my bladder and found an abnormality that he wanted to immediately address as it could be cancerous. My husband was out of town so he walked me to the front and helped me schedule the procedure for as soon as possible upon my husband's return. The staff helped me to make pre-op arrangements.
I had the procedure the following Monday. Was scheduled for 10:30 but didn't start until almost 12:15 (but I don't think that was the Dr.'s fault). Only complaint is the nurse was not allowed to give me a calming sedative until I talked to the Dr. and he didn't come down from his office (in the hospital) until it was time for the procedure so I spend quite a while anxious about the procedure when I could have been given a sedative if I hadn't been required to talk with the dr. He had already explained the procedure to me and exactly what he was going to do so I don't understand why that restriction was in place.
Procedure went well and I return 2 days from now to get results from biopsy and procedure and find out if I need any additional treatment. Dr. Muse and his staff were very kind and compassionate. His office staff is not quite as responsive, but they are okay.

  • Website said they were accepting new patients. Staff on phone was unfriendly when they found out I wasn't an established patient. They said they didn't know if they were taking new patients or not and took my name and number to call me back in a few minutes. It's been over a week and I have not heard back from them yet!

  • My initial appointment with the people who took my blood was a very good one. They were friendly and professional. However, when I went in for my exam with the doctor, the nurse who took me back was not very friendly at all, she pointed at the door that I was to go into and I was offended by that. She didn't warm up any more than that while taking my medical information and it was awkward. Dr. Heine was a little more sociable but could have showed a little more caring.

  • This was my first colonoscopy. The initial office visit to schedule the procedure was great. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Schwertner showed me a video on the procedure and asked me if I understood what was going to happen. He explained the prep to me and why it was important and made sure I understood the directions and was comfortable with the whole procedure. The person who scheduled the procedure went through the directions again to make sure I had no questions and gave and me the prep kit and necessary prescriptions. She was very courteous and professional. I had problems with the prep as I couldn't tolerate that much liquid in that small amount of time and I started throwing up.&nbspMy husband called the after hours number. We were promptly called back by the on call physician that advised me to stop the liquid for the night and to try to take a certain amount more of it the following morning before the procedure. The procedure itself went very well and all was good with the anesthetic and the procedure. I don't actually remember anything about the whole thing except the nurse telling me to wake up after it was over and I could get dressed and go home. I had a follow up appointment a week later with Dr. Schwertner to discuss the results and tell me when I would need another colonoscopy (not for another 10 years). I really liked Dr. Schwertner as he thoroughly explained everything to me without talking down to me or using doctor talk. He answered all questions cheerfully and made sure I understood all the implications of the test and the results. I will definitely see Dr. Schwertner for any digestive problems I might have in the future and have and will continue to recommend him to my friends.

  • Overall, the experience went well.  Dr Segerberg arranged for the applicable tests and procedures to determine the extent of my inflammation, and then scheduled a consultation within a week or so of seeing the results.  Surgery was recommended after he took the time to discuss the results and their implications, and scheduled promptly.  Before the procedure (out-patient), he stopped by to reassure me and was very calm and comforting.  He reviewed what to expect, spoke with my nervous family, and left me in his nurse's care.  The surgery apparently only took about 30 minutes - I actually asked if I was done already when I woke up in recovery.  Follow-up appointments were quick and easy.

  • I have been happy with Dr. Butler's treatment of me.
Recommended that I loose some weight and made suggestions to help with this task in light that I was soon retiring and my activity level would probably change. Keep up the exercise program and with additional time available, increase the walking on a daily basis. We scheduled a 6 month review at which time I would have a stress test with follow-up review one week thereafter Enjoy your retireme

  • The office is nice and the staff is fine. He doesn't seem to have too much care for his patients, but treated me okay. He was reluctant to believe my initial symptoms to the bad side effects I experienced from phentermine, and that was frustrating. My legs became paralyzed for about a week. I then had to have physical therapy for several weeks before my legs functioned normally again. Clearly I wasn't lying about my legs. He was okay, but I chose a different primary care provider.

  • The staff is exceptional. They made me feel comfortable and welcome. My wait was not very long.
After having had a very bad experience previously this was a refreshing
    change.

  • Wonderful. See reason for provider visit for story. Cannot say enough good about her. She is very highly respected in the community and I have heard nothing but absolutely wonderful things about her from her patients.

  • I have been a patient here for several years. Very happy with the staff and Doctor. The wait time can be a little long. The lobby is usually full. Just be prepared to wait, like most doctors offices.
