AAEM Construction & RestorationAfter a typical roof replacement gone TERRIBLY wrong (by another company, NOT AEM), AEM saved the day by renovating our entire house. Here's all the work they did for us: - Removing all the wet insulation, drywall, carpet, etc. - All new drywall (ceilings, walls, including making a doorway smaller for barn door installation) - Recessed lighting installation in every room in the house - All new tile in four bathrooms - Expanded master bath shower and glass shower door installation - New toilet and sink installation in every bathroom - Installed utility sink in laundry room - Removed wood flooring and installed Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring on main level - Sanded and stained all banisters - Re-bricked fireplace and shiplapped above fireplace - Installed new light fixtures and ceiling fans - Trim and paintwork throughout the entire house They did a great job. Naturally, with a job this big, we ran into some issues. Arnoldo was wonderful to work with. He was always willing to listen and worked hard to fix issues so that we were pleased. ANELSON MASONRY INCNelson Masonry did a great job on a patio and wall that was in pretty awful shape. Nelson did a very good job with a very poor situation. The alternative would have been to tear down the whole thing and rebuild, which would have cost more than we could afford. Communication with them was very good, they were on time, and they were very professional. They also walked me through what was going on. And they were within our price range. AAfter replacing my roof, I still noticed water leaks in my attic. I called Bob at Beaty Masonry to look at my Chimney. There were definitely cracks in the mortar on both the sides of the chimney and the crown of the chimney. After scheduling time with him to complete the task, he came and completed it in one day. Bob cleaned off the chimney, ground out some of the old mortar, matched the color and then re-mortared the exterior of the chimney. His work exceeded my expectations on quality, cost, and time taken and I couldn't be happier. I have included an image of before and after, with the before picture on the left, after picture on the right.

AIslas Masonry Solutions did an exceptional job. We needed a concrete walkway constructed immediately for my 87 year old mother. Franciso Jr. met us at my mother's home, he was on time and provided an estimate. He began the project on time, finished on time, cleared away and cleaned all debris from the yard and street. He was extremely professional and the concrete walkway is exceptional work. I highly recommend this company for any stone, brick, block or stucco work you may need. We have dealt with other contractors and Franciso treated us like family. If he you can make an 87 year old mother, grand-mother and great grandmother happy, you are the REAL deal. Excellent work and Exceptional Service!

ATurned out the problem was operator error. I had forgotten the secret to getting my logs start, but after days of trying and asking everyone I knew to see if they could figure out the problem, Kinard’s service charge was cheap in comparison to other companies I called and they came out within days, rather than having to wait over a month and pay over 3x for a service call just to show me how to operate the logs. I felt rather foolish when the tech showed me what to do. I would have felt more foolish to have spent $300 dollars and spent another cold season never haven turned on my fireplace. Thanks

BThis was a project I got done around 1997-98, a year or two after I moved into my current home. because I had water seeping into my basement. When the carpet got pulled up, it turns out the former owner had poorly refinished the basement, and the cement around the bathroom was deteriorating and falling into the red Georgia clay. I went with Trotter's estimate and got financing, since I could not afford to pay upfront. They told me they would put gravel around the drainage system. I did not realize this was not done until 2018-19 when I had a radon mitigation system installed at my house and when they dug up the area in the basement where the system was installed (up through the walls), the installer told me there was no gravel at all where it should have been. I was very disappointed that Trotter's employees did not do what they were supposed to do.
