Then, they had a conflict and couldn't install as scheduled the day before, but actually installed it on Christmas Eve a few hours before temperature began to drop outside. AEnergy Consulting Services, LLCNo more cold floors! My baby girl is finally happy with her warm feets! With one simple call Shane was knocking on my door the next day and reviewed my projects. Both of which were a little complicated and needed expertise in energy efficiency, heat transfer, and all that. The first floor of my main house was cold all the time despite having the crawl space spray foamed 10 years ago. We crawled and he pointed out all the patchy and thin parts and showed me how the original spray job was done poorly and pulling away from the joists. Basically it was a bad job and I just didn't know it. Lesson here, just having someone come out and spray your crawl space doesn't mean it's done right. I felt comfortable that after Shane's recommendations it would all be fixed. I also needed the roof and walls of the carriage house I'm building sprayed. Shane explained to me how best to go about the project. It was interesting because I had other strictly spray foam people out to look at the project and they looked at it from "how can I sell him on my product" point of view, while Shane looked at it from a "what is the most energy efficient" point of view. After evaluating the project, Shane sent Wes by, who runs the sprayfoam crew. Wes is the most engaged contractor I've ever worked with. He not only walked the project with interest and hearing my concerns, but looked at each individual problem and we talked though solutions. Then he even called a week after the job to see if my floors were still cold. This never happens! A contractor following up with you to make sure you are happy with the work. Brilliant! I had 5 contractors come look at the projects. A couple of them right off the bat were obviously not at all knowledgeable about energy efficiency and just wanted to spray foam without understanding energy efficiency. A couple were super expensive and probably just overspray houses at an extra cost so they hopefully don't get complaints. And then there was Energy Consulting, which was the perfect fit. A knowledgeable person sending an engaged contractor who did the right job for the right price. TLDR: If you care about energy efficiency you'll want to talk to Shane. He'll make your bills cheaper, and more importantly, your house more comfortable. Also, don't mess around with the spray guys who just want to spray and scram. You'll end up spraying again 10 years later so your girlfriend can be happy with her bare feet in the kitchen. It's been 2 months with warm floors. I'll let you guys know how I feel again in a few years. Worth the upgrade so far.- Michael M.

AHoward Katzman Building Performance ConsultingWe live in a 1920s craftsman bungalow. We love the look and style of the house, but the energy efficiency is obviously not the greatest. We called Howard to try and get some help to try and make our old home as energy efficient as possible. Howard was a pleasure to work with and was not afraid of getting dirty. He crawled around in our crawl space and our attic and ran a blower door test and found multiple things that would help increase our overall home efficiency. A day after his inspection he sent an email with photos and recommendations, some of which included links to products that would help and some of which were safety issues (HVAC and Hot Water Heater Exhaust issues, etc.) He also listed recommended contractors that would be great to conduct the work. Since, we've done all the work he recommended. We JUST got the work done, but I'm confident it will help tremendously. I would recommend Howard to anyone trying to make their home not only more energy efficient, but safer. As a bonus, he's also super responsive and friendly.- Peter J.

AI cannot begin to say how great of a job that they did for us. We had another contractor that was working on our home after a flood and were just taking too long and not completing the work in a satisfactory manor. Rodney and his crew had completed a total master bathroom remodel for us before, so we reached out to him and asked if he could do our kitchen and he accepted the job to our delight. He and his crew are very professional and take great pride in what they do. This job was a little unfortunate for him because he also had some challenges due to the previous contractor, but he made the corrections as needed with a smile. Thank you so much to Rodney and his amazing team. We would definitely look to hire him again in the future.

AWe had the siding on five dormers and one gable replaced with Hardie board, the sills repaired/replaced on two windows, and everything painted. I talked to five companies and received quotes from three before selecting Exterior Armor. Exterior Armor’s price was the best of the three. Thomas was the project manager and he was very thorough with checking things out before quoting the job. He was very professional and easy to work with throughout the project. He touched base frequently throughout the scheduling and construction periods to let me know how things were progressing. He was meticulous to double check things along the way and to ensure all the work was done correctly. I was very satisfied with both the price and quality of work and will definitely use Exterior Armor for future work.
