CHad an appointment for a sleep study and was told to pay upfront since it wasn't covered by insurance. Was told the fee included the test and results. After going in for the results, I received a bill for almost $200 for my 5 minute meeting with the PA who told me I needed TJ go see another doctor. After multiple calls to speak to someone with no callback, they finally called after a few months when I sent a message to the doctor. I was told that the person in the office must have told me the wrong thing when I initially paid and that I would still have to pay for the results. No accountability on their end for providing wrong information to their patients.

CYoga classes are hard to get into. AS A VERY NEW MEMBER- 2 weeks; I should have been told that “7:05” in a 7:00 class is too late and that I would be locked out! Very jarring. First class was a bust and I was not informed on the class policy. After dropping my daughter off at childcare at 6:55 and getting an employee to escort me to a HIDDEN YOGA ROOM at 7:05; I was locked out! I knocked but nothing! The employee even texted the instructor still nothing. After that I tried to just jump in an OUTDOOR Zumba class but was told I could not do that either. Left the gym with my head low and spirits down. - I feel as though I was just sold on purchasing the membership and after that was done I was thrown away! Unacceptable!

FVitacost would not publish a non-medical review submitted. The review was revised according to their recommendations at least twice, but they still would not post it. This is a very important review on crystal deodorant which previously said it had only "natural mineral salts" but upon receiving said "postassium alum" which is potassium Aluminum sulfate! Aluminum has been linked to alzheimers, autism, and other diseases (not mentioned in the review because they do not allow this). Vitacost has not updated their website post on the actual ingredient in the crystal deodorant which we unknowingly used for many years. Vitacost is would not get back with me on publishing this vital review which could help many folks avoid toxic aluminum.

FBeware - Dishonest Billing Office Practices. Spouse went for a colonoscopy/endoscopy and as he was being prepped I was told we had to pay $500 right then or they couldn't proceed with the procedure, said we hadn't met our deductible yet. Fine, I wasn't 100% sure if he had though I thought he was close since all this medical stuff had occurred with him very recently. After the prep he had to endure I didn't want him to be turned away. After the procedure I find out from my insurance co (not this business) that we shouldn't have been charged the $500 because they were paying 100%. He had met his deductible late the last month. So I start calling to request the overpayment back on the procedure. They say we can't because there are still claims unpaid, etc..mind you the procedure payment from insurance has already reached them. My insurance rep called them herself and they said they had indeed gotten the $ for the procedure, but they had to receive the payment for the facility before they could release the money, and then it wouldn't happen automatically, we would have to call to request it. They don't "do refunds automatically. So, they would have kept my money had the insurance rep not told me I had overpaid??? The facility charge had nothing to do with procedure charge since they were billed separately and under a different company name as my insurance rep told them, but they said it was their policy. So we decided to just be patient and let that check get there, and then I would request it back. Done and over...right??? I called back, the check has been received for the facility so I said " well, then I would like to request the $500 credit back on his account". The billing office employee who is never pleasant and acts like you are inconveniencing her each time you call says “that’s not possible because he has an outstanding bill that has to be paid". What??? It was for the 15 minute telemedicine visit he had as a follow-up about the medication. So I say “if he stays a patient there we will never get the credit back” and she said” as long as there is a claim, no”. She denied they all had told me each time that after the facility check arrived that they would send it back. Never mentioning if he had another visit that made it null and void all over again. So now the situation is escalated, and I'm trying to talk to managers, owners etc, sending letters, faxes, and so on trying to make contact with the person that will make this right. As I told her I would post reviews all over media platforms and take the actions needed, legal and otherwise, to get this resolved. By the way this is actually illegal activity and I've already looked up the Federal mandate. Let's make this right and move forward. FL A Fitness International LLCI signed up in January/February for personal training, right before COVID. I was informed at time of signing that I could cancel the membership after 6 months without any issues. Initially I went to the gym I signed up to and they could not help. They suggested that I contact the customer services, I called many times and finally got through on 8/3/2020 after being on hold for 43 minutes and they proceeded to inform me I could only either suspend my account for two months or pay half in order to get out of it. I explained that I am facing reduced hours at work, and unable to keep up with payments. Also I was told when I initially joined that I could cancel after 6 months. Also I do not feel like it's safe to go into any gym right now. She forwarded my information to the VP of Personal training in my area named Miles who was also unhelpful and told me the same thing. He then hung up on me during the call and told me to contact him when I decide what I want to do based the two options he gave me. I just want to warn others and let you know to be aware of what a scam this gym is before you sign up for anything with them- Tapi L.

AWorkout AnytimeSteve, her wife-co-owner Alicia and his staff at Rowell's Workout Anytime are excellent. The gym is always clean, well-organized, and has a welcoming culture. That is to say, it's like a club...all the staff & members are easy-going, polite, and friendly. It's never over-crowded. The music is a pleasant mix of rock & pop at a moderate volume. There's a good mix of young, middle-aged, and older men & women; a lot of couples workout together; LGBTQ-friendly; and it's a good mix of cultural & ethnic backgrounds. This is not another noisy High-Testosterone sweat-pit. There are clean locker rooms with showers; a massage room with an automatic massage bed; plenty of treadmills, stairmasters, elliptical and recumbent machines; loads of "universal" type machines; tons of free weights; a mirrored room for warm-up stretching, Yoga, Tai Chi, and classes; and there are lots of wide-screen tvs. There's a team of credentialed coaches available for personal & small group training, with varying fee schedules. Health foods & drinks are sold from a large cooler. Members get to know and trust each other in this club culture. Easy access 24/7 is a great convenience.
