    Olivia is the consummate professional. She helped me choose fabric offering an opinion and ideas only when I asked. I immediately trusted her and the men who removed my sofa and chair. Just received everything back an hour ago and am so, so pleased. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Olivia's husband, Anthony, who is the upholsterer, came with her to inspect the entire process. Lovely couple and competent in every way. I enthusiastically recommend them. In the past I have worked with other upholsterers, some of whom were disasters. If you are looking for an upholsterer, Atlanta Craftsman Interiors is the one!!!!!!! Thanks, Olivia and Anthony.

    HAN'S UPHOLSTERY & FURNITURE
    Hans Upholstery beat out all bids with $350 for two chairs and three day turn around time. My fabric was in two pieces and no longer available so I was afraid I didn't have enough, esp when pattern needed to be matched. Hans did a beautiful job, very professional, fine work. I'm most pleased and get fine compliments on the chairs. Will recommend him over and over.

    So rude! I walked through 2/3 of the store. I saw several sales people. no one offered to help. I took several fabric swatches and the sheet on the chair that I wanted to the counter. I got passed around a couple of times, and eventually a sales person who was helping someone else was assigned to help me. He couldn't find the price online, and found someone else to help. I went to the restroom, and when I came back, a guy shoved the info sheet back to me with the price written on it. I asked if it was for the chair and ottoman. It wasn't. He grabbed the paper back, went to the computer, wrote down ottoman price. He shoved the paper back to me without saying a word! There was no offer to help, did I have questions, or to give him a minute while he finished something else. Awful!

    Terrible! I asked if I could get my leather sofa patched up and she said no you don' t understand we have to take apart the entire sofa and it requires a lot of work. Again I asked the same question and was given the same response you don' understand blah blah blah!! She seemed to be getting rather impatient on top of that! I would avoid this place altogether!

    It went wonderfully well - shame on me for waiting so long to write this.  
    Nathan and his team are truly artists.  This furniture was all very sentimental to me and he gave it the kind of care that I hoped for but didn't quite think existed anymore.
    His team was VERY responsive to my calls, scheduled an appointment and were absolutely prompt.  They are very busy with jobs (no surprise) and Nathan explained to me right up front that a quick turn around was not something he could commit to.
    This was fine with me, we planned the work over several months (which had as much to do with my schedule as his) and he met every deadline.  
    He was fair in his request for payment (meaning that the bulk of the job was not paid until finished).  I paid by the project.  When the cost was lower for some reason he reduced the price and in the case of the additional leaf for my dining room table he couldn't find walnut veneer and so used solid walnut at no additional charge.  Nathan explained that he values a good relationship with a customer and I feel the same way.  We built up such a relationship and so my guess is the leaf was a reward for that.  I would have expected to make the choice and pay extra had this been the first vs. the final project.
    I loved that he gave me his professional opinion on the my choices and made recommendations when there were unanticipated choices.  He invited me down to his shop to look at his work as part of making one decision.  In visiting his shop it was completely clear that the work he and his team do is hand craftmanship.  No shortcuts or dips here.
    I marked his price as "good" meaning that it was COMPLETELY appropriate to his work.  Not a "bargain" but I don't think artistry should be a bargain.

    BUDGET UPHOLSTERY & FABRICS
    First, this company is totally unresponsive and irresponsible.  Virtually all of the dates they committed to for both pick up and return were not kept.  We had to call consistently to ask when we might expect our furniture  delivery.  Often, they were not there and would not call back when we left a message.  After many delays in bringing us our upholstered furniture, they finally said they would definitely be here yesterday between 5-5:30.  Therefore, my husband cancelled a meeting to be home at that time.  No show.  They finally delivered it today and there was no skirt to the sofa.  Now they supposedly are returning to pick up the sofa again to add the skirt.  I have several really large upholstery jobs in my living room, and I was hoping that I could use them.  Never!  They have lost thousands of dollars of business.  I could never recommend this business to anyone under any circumstances.  When they call themselves "Budget," what they really mean is that you receive no service.  Shame on them!!!

    CENTURY UPHOLSTERY
    On September 3, I requested a quote for 2 sofas to be reupholstered.  I submitted a full picture detailing the sofas and received from Century Upholstry a quote of $499 per sofa.  I scheduled a pick up date as I needed the sofas returned to me by 9/24/2014 for an event I was having at my home.  I agreed to pay the rush fee of $100 per sofa bringing the cost to $599 per sofa.  In addition, I ordered the fabric protector costing around $60 per sofa, so the cost went to approximately $660.  Once the sofas were received back at Century's warehouse after pickup, I received a call stating my sofas would cost me an additional $100 per sofa for the "waterfall" skirt" they did not know was there.  The waterfall skirt was CLEARLY visible in the picture so I refused to pay the additional $100 per sofa.  However, I needed my sofas returned quickly as my dates were getting closer.  Century knew I needed my sofas, and they knew I was stuck between a rock and a hard place.  I ended up settling the matter by agreeing to pay an additional $50 per sofa. Additionally, when I dropped off my fabric at the warehouse, I spoke directly to a representative giving specific and detailed instructions on how I wanted the back pillows finished.  When the sofas arrived back at my home on September 24, the pillows were not completed as agreed.  I immediately called the office and was assured that after my event, a sofa and all of the back pillows would be picked up and repaired.  As of this date, my emails and phone calls have gone ignored.  I'm so disappointed about this service.  Let's just say my check cleared the very next day!!!  I am still waiting for them to do the right thing!!!

    LEATHER CREATIONS
    I purchased my original couch from leather creations in 1999.  The seat cushions wore out so I went back to leather creations to see if there would be a match close to my existing  leather & there was not.  I discussed options with the salesman including reupholstering my frame.  I looked at various leather swatches and got a price quote.  I then did my due diligence and went to many other places to find a replacement couch.  The size of my existing couch is 84" and was hard to find so I returned to leather creations and spent a lot of time picking out a new leather to redo my existing couch frame.  I picked a leather from a swatch that met my taste.  The 9x9 swatch was brown, not shiny and with distressed marks.  I wanted a  worn, distressed log cabin feel and this swatch was perfect.  When I received my couch only the bottom panel looked like the swatch, the rest of the couch, including the cushions were a lighter, shiny, monotone brown.  Not at all what I wanted!  I contacted the manager of the North Point store, brought a cushion in to the store and compared it with the swatch.  They looked nothing alike.  The manager did not agree with me stating "thats what you chose."   I then contacted the regional manager who gave me the CEO's (Scott Lobel) email to contact.  I did and all I wanted was for someone to come out to my
    home and see the couch.  I sent Mr. Lobel several photos of my couch and he responded "your couch is awsome".  We exchanged emails over the next 3 months all the time I continued to request that someone come to see my couch and how different it is from the swatch.  Not until I requested some of my money back did he respond to my request.  He came out the end on November and said that is the nature of the leather to vary and that it would take 12 to 16 hides to match the swatch.
    If they would have said that the majority of my couch would NOT look like the swatch I would never have purchased it. Was the swatch just a suggestion on how it might look?  Mr. Lobel offered to have me pick a different leather and redo my couch but I had already spent a lot of time choosing the one I did and none of the other choices would be right for me.  In the long run I asked for some of my original 2750.00 purchase price back since this leather is not what I chose,  They sent me a check for 250.00, this felt like a slap in the face after 5 long months of this.  I bet they dont have that leather swatch in the showroom anymore.  I could never trust them again and  would never go there again.  And I say buyer beware.

    They did a good job and they were in pretty bad shape. I didn't' have any complaints. The price was reasonable for what they did. They did the work in a timely manner. They picked up the items and delivered them back once they were finished.
