    Crippen Woodworks
The entire team was absolutely fantastic. We got to Crippen via a recommendation from another contractor. Charlie Crippen came out and unlike others we had interviewed, was very open to what we were envisioning and spoke passionately about his "craft" - which they are... craftsmen. The entire team was absolutely fantastic. Very welcoming while I was nosing around. What was most amazing was the amount of handwork they put in. The sanded EVERY piece of wood and hand sculpted the railing tops. The covered every joist to ensure that they would not be affected by rain. My husband and I watched the laborers measure and re-measure every piece for an exact fit - passing a calculator back and forth to confirm it. The end result is that the decks are beautiful and WAY better than I expected when we first planned the project. Below are before and after photos. PS - he was also very competitively priced.

    Glazer Design & Construction, LLC
Ive used Glazer Construction & Design for several projects including a full renovation. Not only is Randy and his team a joy to work with, he also stayed on budget and on time with completion. The quality of work and craftsmanship is equally as impressive. The project manager and sub contractors have the ability to problem solve and produce top quality work. I highly recommend Randy Glazer - Glazer Construction & Design!

    Affordable Home Concepts LLC
We interviewed several pros for this job. Adam was personable and knowledgeable about the job at hand. Adam and his crew were wonderful to work with. They were very punctual, skilled, neat and paid close attention to detail. We cant wait for warmer weather to enjoy our outdoor space again. Would definitely recommend and hire again

    Wilson Bros Landscape
I enjoyed working with Donnie planning my project. We met in person a couple times and traded a few emails and each encounter was pleasant. Because Wilson Bros doesnt perform tree and ivy services, they have a tree service partner they primarily work with. We got them engaged and I explained all the trees, stumps, bushes, and ivy I needed removed. The quote looked fair and because they claim to work close with Wilson Bros on their projects and Donnie vouched for their service, I decided to move forward with removing the trees, stumps, ivy and bushes. Thats when things started to fall apart. I had to reach out to them on scheduling and I wouldnt get a clear answer. When I asked when specifically as Id like to confirm that it works with our schedule, I didnt receive options but I received statements. When the crew did show up they worked hard and were kind to my family. Then I started to hear from the crew we cant do this or our equipment doesnt do that. When the crew started to leave for the day I saw all the stumps are still in the ground as well as most the ivy. The team replied another team will come out to finish the job. Well I didnt know that nor did they mention it any communications. Once again had to call the company to figure out scheduling and they said its usually a couple of days after the initial service. When the stump removal crew finally showed up he immediately said my equipment cant get all the stumps. So I had ivy and stumps all over the yard that the tree company who agreed to the job are now saying they cant complete the work. When I spoke with the owner of the tree company he said him and Donnie have worked out a plan that theyd put pine straw over it and that itd be fine. Well a live tree stump will still grow, so that wasnt acceptable by me. Heres the kicker, the tree company that the Wilson Bros brought for this job and who they partner on landscape jobs still wanted to charge me the full amount for the work even though it wasnt complete. As this was happening all I could think was if this is how the Wilson Bros partners treat me, then how will I be treated when the bigger work comes along with Wilson Bros. I promptly called Donnie and explained the situation and that they will not be the landscaping company well be moving forward with. Its unfortunate because I really thought Donnie and his team/partners were better than this, but I guess you never know until the work starts.

    Safe Wash Pressure Washing
Rarely in my 40 years of home ownership have I been as pleased. Everything (I mean all the details) were handled to perfection. Henry, the owner, was flexible on scheduling, the scope of the job and the price. He was able to bring my house up on the internet and quote me over the phone. When he arrive, he was on time, clean cut, fully equipped and raring to go. He worked over 4 hours, non-stop and when he was done, my 30 year old house looked fresh and new. BTW, he's very knowledgeable re the dilution and drainage of rinse to prevent damage to plants. Perfect Job!!!!!

    Alain Pressure Washing
Alain performed pressure washing of my deck and stone, repaired my fence/deck/pergola and stained/painted my deck. Alain did an INCREDIBLE job. He goes above and beyond to ensure you are completely satisfied with the work. He is very responsive and takes pride in his work (which absolutely shows in the finished product). His attention to detail is incredible and his prices are extremely fair. The job he performed was an extensive one yet he completed the work in such a timely manner (and kept me up to date the entire time). I have never been so satisfied with work done on my house. I absolutely recommend him for any pressure washing, deck repair and/or staining needs.

    Paint Etc
Mario is very nice and responsive. He listened to us about what we want/need, and gave us a very detailed estimate that describes all the work and materials included. We got a few bids and decides to hire them based on their estimate and good online reviews. They did a good job in painting the whole house (it's a big house!) and rebuilding our porch railings. Everything was done with care and finished promptly. We are very happy with them and will use them again!

    Just Decks Atlanta
Nice people but the quality of their work is not good. No attention to detail, sloppy work and it took them forever to finish the job. If you are looking for a rustic deck, go ahead, but if you need a more finished and quality product, go shop somewhere else.

    Outdoor Makeover & Construction
Navid from outdoor makeovers is a creative genius, but what makes him truly exceptional is his ability to do all that he does within the framework of your vision and budget.  The staff they employ are truly professional craftsmen (their work is exceptional and it will probably outlast our home).  We had a rather large project which included removal of an old driveway grading the property and the addition of a patio, inset pergola, fire pit, and retaining wall.  With the scope of work you?d be surprised to find out the job was completed in 9 days (ahead of schedule).  As with all jobs things come up and here is where the Outdoor makeover team really shines.   We had some unforeseen drainage issues and a concrete slab of a parking pad that was twice as thick as expected.  There is no nickel and diming.  We were brought up to speed on the day the problems were encountered (courtesy of the almost daily walkthrough with Navid) and came up with a plan to do the job right.  In the end we were a few hundred dollars over the initial quote which I?m pretty sure didn?t even cover the materials to rectify these things.  We couldn?t be happier with end product and look forward to spending a lot of time out there.  Outdoor makeover?s reputation is well deserved and i?m sure we?ll have them back for stage two of the renovation.  Thanks Navid.

    Outdoor Makeover & Construction

My entire interaction during the process was primarily with Navid, the owner. He came for the 1st appointment and spent a lot of time with me to understand what I wanted to do and my tastes. I hadnt really thought about what I wanted so I let him throw options at me and there were quite a few! It was amazing how much you could do with a small backyard and deck! He was very easy to talk to and interact - not the usual contractor type who want a list of things, give you a quote and leave. They are very committed to their work and take pride in the end result and that was evident from the beginning all the way to the end. There were some surprises along the way, which they handled, added some extra features (at no extra charge) to make sure the end result was correct, constantly checked the work and re-did if they werent satisfied with the outcome. We knocked down the deck railing and added steps to the yard and the ground was uneven so the steps were a little higher than they should be. Navid's brother who is in the contruction business had done the steps but wasnt happy so they agreed to re-do them and make them safer and upto code.
They started the work on the dates we had discussed and I had a chance to meet some of the crew when I came home at 8pm and they were still there, finishing up. They cleaned up after themselves and took the time to do it right. Most days they started before I left home and were still there when I got home. They still finished within 3 days - I guess that's the benefit of not using sub-contractors. The staff were all employees of the company and very dedicated.

I would definitely use them again when I am ready to tackle the front yard.
In talking with Navid, he mentioned that his brother, Omid, was in the construction business. I had 2 bathrooms that need remodelling so he got him us in touch. Omid was great to work with, took a lot of time to review what I had, what I wanted done, made suggestions on what I should and should not do to improve the overall value, made suggestions on what and where to buy the supplies, even went with me several times to ensure we didnt make mistakes. The whole remodelling effort lasted a couple of weeks as we dealt with surprises (always a given with a remodel project!). They was no high-presssure selling, just options and I made my own decisions on what to do.
Throughtut the whole process, it really helped to work with people who communicated well, constantly kept me updated on progress and were really wonderful to work with.
