    Vital Air
    Vital air did a superb job on our new HVAC system. I don't usually write reviews but I felt like I had to share our experience with others so they could experience the same! Vital Air came out to our house just a day after we contacted them and gave us a quote. My wife and I were blown away with the knowledge and professionalism that the company had on the newest technology and advancements in HVAC systems. Since the install, our power bills have been cut in half!!! We are so thankful that Vital Air updated our system.

    Cheshire Heating & Air
    We had Cheshire Heating & Air replace our old HVAC system with a new Carrier HVAC system in December 2015.  The old system was originally installed when the house was built and we had gotten tired of yearly repairs to both the A/C and the furnace. We had other companies come out and give estimates and Cheshire's prices were generally in line with theirs.
    During the estimate process, Cheshire definitely stood out as more customer oriented.  Hugh Fannin was great to work with.  He provided four different options of air conditioner and furnace configurations that he thought would work best for us.  Unlike the other folks who gave us estimates, Hugh did not come across as a "salesman" type personality.
    The installation went well.  The crew laid down heavy material to protect our wood floors from walking in and out of our basement.  During the install, they actually found where our furnace exhaust pipe had been installed incorrectly when the house was originally built.  They corrected that without any hesitation.  When setting the A/C compressor outside the house, they took the time to make sure the concrete pad was level.  The crew got everything done in a day.  Hugh Fannin came back later in the day to show my wife how to operate the system and change the filter. 
    A couple of months after the installation, Hugh contacted us again to say that he had found an energy tax credit that our new system qualified for.  It is too bad that more companies don't strive for this type of customer service.
    All in all, we had a great experience with Cheshire Heating & Air.  The new furnace has worked great throughout the winter.  Hopefully the A/C will work just as well this summer.  The fact that they pay attention to the little details and take time to do
    things correctly are what sets their company apart from other HVAC businesses.

    They had great reviews which is why we selected them. They did not disappoint. They spend considerable time cleaning all the ductwork and vents/returns. They cleaned two systems for us and a number of vents/returns throughout the house. THe work they did was very noticeable just in the clean air you can smell while the heat is running. They clean up their work and do not leave a sign they were there, other than the clean vents they left in our home. Did a great job and will not charge for work that is not necessary. I would recommend them 100%.

    Reliable Heating & Air Plumbing & Electrical
    These folks are top notch.  We have gone through a few other HVAC companies over the last few years who could not detect the problems.  One well known "big HVAC" company came out 4 times and we got a different diagnosis each time - the wrong diagnosis.  We finally decided to replace the old systems (builder grade) and get a reliable Trane system.   At this point, I have experienced nothing but professionalism and very well trained technicians and installers with Reliable.  Their sales folks are honest, very likable and especially their knowledge level and professionalism gave me good confidence in their recommendations.  Overall they provided excellent guidance for our needs and the prices were very competitive.


    So, here is a summary of our relationship with Reliable:

    The sales folks - Scott Beebe, Chris McKinney and Mike Grayeski.  All very likable and especially their knowledge level, professionalism and excellent guidance for our needs.

    The installers - Randy Collins and Jessie Rodgers for gas plumbing.     Jorge, Rob Jesse, Fernando, Mike G and John Victor for HVAC/gas furnaces.  They all did a fantastic job.  All of them were friendly, very courteous and professional.  But most important to us, they did a very neat and professional job.   Another important decision point for us.  Reliable provides a Lifetime warranty on all installed equipment. This is contingent upon maintaining a continuous service agreement with Reliable.  The annual fee for this is reasonable and competitive.

    Reliable Heating & Air Plumbing & Electrical
    When we first called about the hot water heater, Reliable came out that very day and replaced it. We didn't realize how badly it had deteriorated and Reliable was very responsive. The gentlemen who came were on time, they did the work, they cleaned up the old stuff and carted it off and through it all, they were very nice.
    A few weeks later, we called Reliable about our furnace. They immediately sent someone to check it, ordered the parts and promptly returned to do the substantial work involving supply & return plenums and dampers. They showed up promptly on the day of the appointment, worked hard all day and didn't leave until the furnace was fixed, the old furnace pieces were removed and the area cleaned.
    If we need any additional work of this nature, we will not hesitate to call Reliable. They are excellent!

    I never got my air ducts cleaned due to broken equipment, scheduling errors.  After false promises of doing my whole house for free due to the errors on their part, they didn't show up on the agreed upon date.  I called several times asking to be called back.  No response.  A week later I received a notice from Angie's list offering a refund.  I took the refund, but really wanted the service.  
    p.s  I don't know the exact date of non-service

    very professional, punctual and honest.   only reason gave it a "B" is because the person that came out recommended replacement of 1 A/C unit and steered me in that direction only.  Did not want to do a temporary fix for unit --- which is good, because he's right it does need to be replaced.  Problem is I have no money to replace it this year due to recent move into the house so really needed a temporary fix if it was at all possible.  (which it was:  hired 2nd opinion and have been able to 'nurse' the A/C through the season)

    Premier Indoor Comfort Systems LLC
    If you have a GEOTHERMAL SYSTEM this is NOT THE COMPANY FOR YOU!  My unit was serviced its 6 month service (I had bought the maintenance agreement) on Monday, 1/28/13 and then it went out on Friday night, 2/1/13.  I called Premier Saturday morning and they were quick to come out and take a look but Mike was not the most friendliest tech.  He was here about two hours and said that he didn't really know what was wrong b/c he didn't know what the codes it was flashing meant and that he needed to do some research.  He also told me that it was probably the circuit board and that he couldn't do anything about that until the weekday and it would be expensive to fix.  He did leave my unit on emergency mode which keeps it somewhat comfortable (around 68 degrees) in the house but it also left the unit blowing this air 24/7 for the next two days.  With no directions from Mike I called Jesse (whom I normally deal with and really like) on Monday afternoon and asked if I needed to set up an appointment to get my unit working properly or were they going to get with me when they got done with their research, he told me that he didn't know anything about my call that he would have to get with Mike.  He did call me right back but sounded annoyed!  He told me that Mike was busy doing service calls that day and that I needed to give him time to look into my problem and that Mike would call me back as soon as he had time to look into it.  Well here it is on Thursday 2/7/13 and I have never heard back from either one of them!  Yesterday, 5 days poor unit was still running 24/7 trying to keep us warm and no telling what my power bill is going to look like....I called another company out of Jasper, GA.  They came out, were here for 4 hours and had me fixed up and running again.  It wasn't that expensive circuit board that Premier was going to try to sell me, it was the heater pump and was only a $400 problem.  I am just really disappointed in Premier and their customer service, I didn't expect this kind of treatment from them.  So please think again before you use Premier for your Geothermal System needs.

    It was fine. They did a good job. I liked that I didn?t have to be there since I don?t live in that home. They did it in a timely fashion. I was able to pay over the phone without going in. They took a coupon that I had seen on line which helped a lot also. I have used them twice.
