    Perfection Roofing & Siding
Russell and his crew did fantastic work replacing the siding on my chimney. After obtaining quotes from several other contractors, Russell's company was the most affordable and he was able show us first hand some excellent examples of his previous jobs, and they were really impressive. The work was completed exactly when he said it would be done, the work was completed very quickly, and the crew was very pleasant to work with.

    Beaty Masonry
Excellent experience all around. Bob is skilled and meticulous in performing his trade. Took great care not only to explain what he would do but also to ensure that the new grout blended well with the existing. Job was done quickly and in the time frame promised. Very reasonable pricing too. Quite pleased and would hire again or recommend without hesitation.

    FenceWorks of Georgia Inc
It went well. The crew showed up on time and did a nice job. If I had any complaint is that it was up to me to make sure the crew knew what to do. Be sure you explain exactly what you want. There was one hiccup that we worked out because of this.

Ron's Lawn Care, Roofing Repairs, Fencing
I got the quote and I purchased all the materials for them to start. They started the job on a Friday and the city code enforcer came by to say the fence had to be with finished side facing out. They stopped their work to get direction from me on how to proceed. Ronnie's brother came to me and said Ronnie had quit and walked off the job because he was stressed but not to worry because he and his son would complete the job. They returned the following day and when they told me the job was finished I paid them. I have cataracts on both eyes so I didn't notice that half the fence wasn't secured at the bottom. I have a friend who does home inspections and was looking over the fence for me after I noticed the boards were warped and buckling. He took me to see the boards close up and we found them loose, cracking and unsecured to the posts. We immediately called Ronnie and Randy to explain the problem. Randy said he would be out the following Saturday. However I received an email after 10 pm the night before that he was cancelling. It's been over a week since that conversation and neither of them have been back to correct the shoddy work. In addition they took away all the boxes of screws that I purchased for the job. I have given them a few weeks now so I am writing this because of the negative email response I got from Ronnie and refusal to come back. They all know that my husband is disabled and is going in for a heart operation very soon. Without any remorse they caused me a great deal of stress anyway.

Blue Monkey Pressure Washing and Wood Care
very well! We decided to go with the color stain and got the stairs, railings, and support poles stained as well. We had to wait for the stain until we had a few days of uninterrupted rain, but Blue Monkey was great with scheduling and we are very satisfied with the work

    Earthly Matters Painting and Roofing
Luis Nesmith was the manager and stayed in contact with us throughout the project. They were excellent and were neat and did clean work. They used high quality paint and were very professional. We would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

Precision Fence, Deck & Floor Systems
They were excellent to work with--prompt call backs, good follow up, quick with the bid, and on time for the work. This level of professionalism is rare these days, so it was a pleasure! I might have been able to find a better price, but not at this level of service.

Precision Fence, Deck & Floor Systems
Arthur & DeDe did a great job; they came out promptly and gladly provided me a quote when I was clear that I was getting other quotes to remove an old fence and install a new one.  They also quoted me on some interior closet/cabinetry work and I may do that with them in the future based on their work on my fence.  They did all they said they were going to do. They were very professional & courteous, and the fence they installed looks great.

    Atlanta Iron Design
The project went very well.  He listened to what I needed, told me the options and ultimately accommodated what I was looking for. Most importantly to a customer in the middle of a lot of other projects, his timing was exactly what he told me it would be.  He showed up when he said he would and he completed the project on time.

    A Nu Age Home Exteriors
I apologize for the late-ness of this; if I write a review then I write a review and things have been beyond crazy since the start of the holidays which was was just after work was completed...
The front of my house had two gables with Cedar shake. Since
they were installed (very poorly) in 2005 they had dried out causing cupping
and splintering and faded to a rather unpleasant washed out gray color. They
had also been attacked by carpenter bees leaving many holes showing the plywood
underneath with no Tyvek. The shingles were never sealed and they had suffered
enough damage when we bought the house that we knew we would have to replace
them as they were already splitting and falling off of their own accord. The
front is also the Western face of the house and gets blasted by the afternoon
sun causing the paint to be in very bad shape so I began searching for shingle
replacement and paint for the front; this was initially to be two separate jobs. I should
state that I wanted the shingles replaced with a cement product like HardiePlank
that could mimic the cedar shake. In talking with different companies and doing
a lot of research, I ultimately found that I wanted Nichiha as I now believed
it to be a better product than Hardie (completion of shingle areas included paint for them).

I had interviewed seven highly ranked Angies list companies
receiving very wide ranging quotes from most. Quotes for the shingles only
ranged between $1700 and $5000 which kind of stepped me back a bit; I liked the
$1700 price but not the contractor; too fast with no detail, just ?yep, we can do it?,
paint from HD or Lowes ? whatever you want. This versus the $2800, I disliked
the price but felt very confident in the contractor and the job would be done
right. The $5000 I?m sure (truly), would have been amazing but I can?t afford
it and this neighborhood does not support such price tags for relatively minor
projects like this. This was putting me in a bind as I still needed to do paint
for the front at least and I was already going outside my budget.

I interviewed Robert of A Nu Age Home Exteriors at the end
of this and we quickly fell into a rhythm that worked for me; Robert works and
moves fast but I knew at this point what I wanted and we were able to quickly
find an understanding. He put forward Nichiha products which I liked; he had
photos (of his work) of examples that I could choose from in overall style and
in fine distinction meaning do I want the alternating shakes linear or
staggered. In talking paint, he again prefers to use the brand and type that I
believe to be superior as well as even the better quality caulk; important
details to me (just as an fyi, all 3 of these things: Nichiha, type of paint
and type of caulk were what the $5000 artisan also preferred as best).

We went outside to confirm the scope of the project and
Robert put forward replacing the Hardie planking that brackets the double
Garage doors and which then continue s up for 9 or so rows before hitting a
divider which separates the Gable over the garage. At first this offer made me
quite nervous after hearing quoted numbers from other companies; Robert
explained what I already knew was that the builder had done a hack job in this
area and the Hardie looked like h***; large gaps, unevenness, unsymmetrical
layout, big nail holes visible everywhere, broken pieces just caulked in.
Robert felt that if we were going to spend whatever we were going to spend to
have a good looking front of our house that is presented to the street and to
visitors, then do it right, and he would work with me to achieve that.

His quote at first was a bit tough for me, not because it
was too much for the work he was going to do but because I had set myself a
path of: do gable shingles first, then do the paint on the front, then do the
paint on the rest of the house. Hey, I got two kids in private school, the
public schools are a joke (the 23 year old graduate next door cant read or
write, and we did not get lucky with the charter school lottery) we need to do
things as we can. I gotta say, Robert worked with me and I worked with him, had
to be flexible. I let him set the schedule as he was going to have a crew in
the area doing a whole house ? which is what he normally does. So we shared the
crews between the jobs while he was in the area and we shared the disposal fee
with the other house with the dumpster; win ? win ? win. I accepted the quote; obviously,
it just made too much sense.

The first crew, the siding crew arrived a day or two later
than anticipated and late in the afternoon versus in the morning. This was
completely fine to me as I knew that we were being ?fit into? the schedule, by
original arrangement and this was part of the deal so I was happy. Ross and his
crew were great, they hit the ground running, every man with a job and every
person on top of it; it was a larger crew than I would have expected. They
stayed late, probably finishing near 8pm. It was cold, but no bother, they had
lights and they did a fantastic job in just the one afternoon. They built little ?boxes? for the garage lamps,
which make them, look more refined and professional ? nice touch. Robert and I
had to increase the quote a little bit for the divider board; between the
Hardie below and the Nichiha above. Neither of us thought of it the day of the
quote but this was fine as it very understandably needed to be done along with
    the new weather flashing.

The second crew kept checking in; Jorge, like Ross is very
professional and was not about to take short cuts. He would come by and tell me
on a morning that he was supposed to start with caulking that he was going to
defer as it was too cold and he would be back late afternoon if it warmed up,
then he would wait a day after applying for the caulk to set, otherwise it could
crack over time; then pressure wash, then paint. He always checked in with me
and told me what to expect. He did a very thorough and complete job which we
were, and are, very happy with.

I?m very satisfied with Robert, I will be having him back
soon (Spring time) to paint the rest of the house. He was everything above and
more; he answered his phone! And if he did not, then he got back to me in a
reasonable time; and I?m a hoverer, I watched it all, asked everything, and
stuck my nose everywhere - Robert got lots of calls. Like I said earlier, his
personality type is that he moves fast, this might be the only caveat that I
have. He wrote the quote on the fly on our first meet at my kitchen table. Just
make sure that the details are in the quote of the work to be done as it may be
weeks later when the job is started and Robert may have seen 50 other people in
the meanwhile. I do not say this as a jab, not at all; it is just easier to
know for sure and not have to make a phone call when his teams are here to
confirm. If anything, Robert was way more than fair; if there was something
that was the slightest bit contentious, we found an easy compromise. I
absolutely recommend Robert and his teams in all areas.
