    Trinity Lawn & Landscape Inc
Trinity owner Eric and his team did a great job from the initial (very thorough) consult, to detailed estimates, to full overhaul of sod, irrigation, hardscape, removal of a 100 ft pine tree, mulching and planting, all with high quality materials.

    Trinity Lawn & Landscape Inc
Trinity owner Eric Wengrow and his team did a first rate job from the initial consult, to detailed estimates, to full overhaul. Eric kept us apprised of issues/timing and did a fantastic job on time and in budget. Eric has high quality contacts for tree/stump removal, power washing etc and our home has never looked better!

    Action Landscaping
The work started in May & completed in August. Went all summer with a back yard that was full of dirt because the sod we wanted was not available. Wish that had been looked into before the work was started. Invoice was usually sketchy & didn't provide enough detail. After sod was finally laid in August, half of it turned brown due to army worms. It was a nightmare!! And we paid $3000 to fix a water leak from deck. Still not fixed!! Glad it's all over. Would not use them again. And they are quite expensive.

    Action Landscaping
The fountain turned out to be more challenging than any of us thought it would be, but Action Landscaping worked at it until it was done to their--and our--satisfaction and didn't take a penny until it was complete. The fountain ended up as a large planting area with a center basin and fountain. The back, which is about 6' tall, is covered in mosaic. The sides are stucco. The planting area is filled with a variety of colorful cold-tolerant plants. I'll post pictures eventually, but this final  project, despite its hiccups, has cemented my faith in the company. I will not use anyone else for anything. Their professionalism, dedication, and overall competence has made me a true fan of the company. What sets them apart is not that everything with the project went perfectly (what project does?) but the way they handled it.  They didn't increase the price of anything, they did what they said they'd do, and they didn't ask for payment until it was complete and we were perfectly satisfied.  Search as you might, you won't find a better company for hardscape and landscaping here in Augusta. They also have a full service contracting company with their sister company Carbon Construction; we're so impressed that we're going to have some inside work done with them. Good luck with your projects, fellow Angie's Listers, and do consider Cliff and his companies. You won't be disappointed.

    Action Landscaping
I called Action Landscaping and received a prompt reply from Shawn. The owner (Cliff) came out on a Saturday morning to assess the work that needed to be done and gave me a ballpark figure around $2450.
Soon after Cliff left, I received an email from Shawn thanking me for my time and telling me that they will send a proposal over too me shortly.
The gutters went up first. There was a slight mix-up with the gutters that were installed versus what was in the signed proposal, but Cliff is a man of his word and we got everything worked out amicably for both of us.
One issue that I have had is with water leaking through the garage roof around the water heater exhaust pipe due to large amounts of rain water coming out of the gutters at the top of the house. The gutter installers terminated the downspout at the top of the garage roof letting all of the water run down the roof near the water heater exhaust pipe to the garage gutter. I fixed that by attaching a short extender to get the water further down the roof.
Another issue I had was with one of the downspout elbows pointing the wrong direction in the back of the garage. The water was running back toward the house and the deck causing a lot of standing to build up. I replaced the Type A elbow with a Type B elbow to run it down the hill away from the house and the deck.
The dirt and sod arrived a few weeks later when it was starting to get warmer out. Action's crew showed up, filled in the area where the soil had eroded away and connected the corrugated pipe to the downspouts of the gutters in the front.
The sod was dormant when it showed up, but looks beautiful now!
I only wish I had done the whole yard at the bottom of the hill with new sod since the previous owners pretty much let the weeds take over.
In the future, when I have another large landscaping project to be tackled, I will definitely give Action a call!

    Carbon Construction
I honestly can't say enough good things about Carbon Construction. From start to finish, the entire process has been great. Cliff (the owner) and Shaun have been fantastic at staying on budget and in touch every step of the way. Every employee they've sent out has been friendly, professional, and extremely skilled. I would hire any one of them again, happily. The company's work has been done quickly and completely (with the exception of unavoidable rain delays) and looks great. I couldn't be more pleased, and my husband and children echo that sentiment daily.
After hearing many horror stories about contractor work, and knowing we had a big project to do, I was nervous about getting started. I found Cliff's company through the Better Homes and Gardens website--they called us back immediately and scheduled a visit to set up an estimate the very next day. That night, they also sent us to their very professional website, which has examples of their work. Meeting Cliff the next day set my husband and me at ease--while he was completely willing to do whatever we asked, he also made sure we had his professional advice, which turned out to be an invaluable asset. By taking the time to understand "why" we wanted to renovate our outdoor spaces, he's made sure that the result meets our needs, rather than merely becoming a magazine-inspired area that we won't use.  I'm so glad we listened to him, because all of the company's work has turned out perfectly, and much better than if he'd merely asked what we wanted and did it. He put a ton of time into figuring out what we really needed and it shows in the results.
One thing Cliff told us is that he was pretty much middle of the road in pricing, and that turned out to be absolutely correct. We had estimates to do the work for less, but they seemed to want to do nothing more than work from a checklist we provided. We had estimates that wanted to charge more, but I didn't feel any of them stood up against Cliff's friendly advice and clear competence. In the end, I'm so glad we went with Carbon!
I've already recommended him to friends and coworkers (including my boss, so you know I mean it!) . I unreservedly recommend working with Carbon Construction or their sister company Action Landscaping no matter what job you're looking for.
I'll give him a second review once we see how the fountain and front landscaping work out--I'm sure  it will be every bit as glowing as this one.

    CSRA Lawn & Sprinkler LLC
Water had been coming off the road and soaking our yard, Yard was at bottom of hill. I called Bruce Alford with CSRA LANDSCAPING and he showed on the day and time we agreed on to give me the estimate, I gave a good estimate and detailed planning on the job to be performed and if any unexpected issues or cost were to come up he would let me know first before proceeding. Bruce showed on the day of the job on time and ready to go at 7:00 am. Him and his crew were professional from start to finish and cleaned up daily and when job was completed. I never had an issue contacting him what so ever. Also per his recommendation he came back several months later to place drains in my driveway to keep my carport from flooding. HE IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH CSRA Landscaping and design, that is a totally different company.
