    Dynamic Finishings
Our evaluation of this major renovation is that Dynamic Finishings did an outstanding job. Mr. Keel’s pleasant personality, honestly, and integrity were critical to my husband and I during this renovation. I am the type of person that cannot always predict how a change may look, and Mr. Keel was very patient with this aspect of my personality which led to some changes in the original plan of the contract. The bathroom had to be completely gutted to accommodate the renovation. The walls and ceiling were removed to provide a more-open look. With this approach, we were able to fit in a Jacuzzi tub, a 4.5 foot shower, a double vanity, and a toilet area for which a pocket door was necessary due to limited space. The pocket door that was installed was of a very high quality, re-enforced with wood and brackets, much better than the typical contractor’s grade pocked door. Also, a pull-down attic stairs was installed (to replace the small access entry in the original ceiling) to allow easy access to my heating and air units. The wall tile and floor tile was professionally laid and is beautiful. All plumbing, which had to be reworked for the tub and shower, is working well. Also, the electrical changes that had to be made to accommodate a heated Jacuzzi tub and the multiple canned lighting fixtures in the bathroom also been working well. In summary, the bathroom is beautiful and we stayed close to the budget of the original contract. Once Mr. Keel’s men removed the floor and the walls, I wanted the subflooring to be re-enforced and all insulation in the walls and ceiling replaced, so this work added a slight increase to the cost. However, Mr Keel was more than happy to slow his time-table and allow this work to be done, even though we had not initially discussed this. Based on Mr. Keel’s broad level of experience as a Contractor and his high level of integrity, along with his even-tempered manner I would highly recommend Dynamic Finishings for a bathroom renovation and other major or minor construction needed.

    Crawlspace Medic - Augusta
Crawlspace Medic - Augusta recently worked on our crawlspace. We were having moisture and water issues, a moisture barrier we previously put in had almost disintegrated, and originally-installed insulation was falling down. Kevin did a thorough inspection and gave me a comprehensive estimate, and his crew arrived timely and went right to work. They constructed a French drain within the crawlspace to drain off any water that would collect under the house, installed new insulation between all floor joists in the crawlspace, and installed a new, white 10-mil vapor barrier throughout the crawlspace. They taped over the seams and spiked the vapor barrier. We had previously installed an exhaust fan. They cleaned up the debris, and the crawlspace looks better than it ever has since we built our home in 1996. They worked continuously and did an excellent job. Tanner was very conscientious and came back to finish up. We are very pleased with the work they did on our home and feel so much better and secure about our crawlspace.

    Dynamic Finishings
Larry Keel is an extremely friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and very responsive contractor. Dynamic Finishings removed a 31' load bearing wall, added a large closet, added an attic access pull down stairs, added trim work and painted everything to match. Now you can't even tell that the wall was ever there. His crew was professional and friendly throughout the entire process, as well as his subcontractors. He would explain ways to cut cost instead of hiking up the price unnecessarily. He was very flexible as the scope was tweaked unexpectedly at times during the job. At the end of the day, he will make sure that you are happy! You can't ask for anything more. I am admittedly anal and would text him with questions in the evening expecting a response the next day. He would always text back immediately and be available for a phone call at any time. My wife and I are ecstatic about the finished product. I highly recommend this company for any renovations that might be too scary to tackle yourself. We had our kitchen replaced prior to Larry's work starting. The only reason that you didn't use Dynamic for that job is because one of our friends works for a kitchen cabinet company. But, the company we used didn't offer electrical, plumbing, or mechanical services. Larry gave me advice and contacts for those services as well. Our kitchen turned out as well as it did due to Larry's help at no benefit to him.

Could not have ask for a better contractor than Larry Keel.Him and his crew went out of their way to insure that we were pleased with the work being done,. Our happiness and satisfaction with the job and their performance in doing the work was always his main concern. He was always a phone call away and never had to leave a message, took care of issues immediately.Again our happiness and satisfaction was always his main concern.Him and his team cleaned as they worked and cleaned up prior to leaving for the day. It would be my pleasure to have him do any and all future work should it be needed.

    Dynamic Finishings
This was by far the easiest project I have ever completed with a contractor. It was smooth sailing from the beginning and they kept us in the loop all the way. Not only were they polite but they were genuine and honest about what needed to be done. They repaired a prior contractors work and it blew my mind how good it was. They always cleaned up after their work and made sure to have me check on it every step of the way. I’m going to be hiring them for many more projects and I recommended them to everybody who I work with. They are the best contracting group in the CSRA. Larry is a top notch guy who I am happy to do business with again. The room is flawless and they make sure that we were satisfied with the job before signing the completion of contract. An added bonus was they were great with our fur kids and we’re understanding of our crazy work hours. Thank you to Larry and the team!

Spray Foam Solutions Going Green LLC
PROCESS: With my limited knowledge of the process, the work appeared to have gone well. Removal of the loose fiberglass insulation took an entire day. It probably would have gone faster, but one of their experienced crew members had fallen ill. I hope he recovered completely! The next day, the spray crew started work in the cleared area while the removal crew finished up. Now, there was some equipment issues but they had backup and quickly resumed work. Honestly, if they hadn't given me an update, I wouldn't have known about it, but transparency was important to them. However, the roof's temperature was getting too high so work had to stop (high temp means too fast curing = bonding issues, less rise and lower R-value). The work was finished on day 3. Now, there was a chemical smell but it mostly dispersed in a day or so. RESULTS: my AC can now maintain a constant temperature of 70 degrees throughout the day and appears to be working less. Previously, the temperature would start rising above the AC setting around a 2PM or 3PM and continue to up around 76 degrees into the evening. Now it stays at the set temperature. The extra room above the garage appears to have improved but I may have a bias just going up there because of the previous high temperatures. However, the temp in attic has substantially improved to the point where I don't regret going up there anymore. I don't have a thermometer up there, so no numbers for now. I plan to call my AC maintenance provider to let them know they can certainly schedule work in the afternoons now. THE CREW: I didn't get a chance to meet the removal crew, but I got to meet the spray crew. These two were very professional and customer focused. They both had quite a bit of experience in other construction specialties so they were able to tackle matters as work progressed. They also spoke well of their other coworkers for being similar in knowing other specialties which is a sign of a good crew. CHANGES: Keeping the temp set at 70 is now too cold for me. I'm slowing raising it up to a temp I think is comfortable, but the executive officer of the house will make that final decision once she returns from her TDY. Since she likes cocooning up for sleep, it'll probably drop back down again. COST: I really didn't compare pricing with other companies. I was only looking for good results, and a trusted coworker had recommended them. The house has a high-peeked roof and is 2,850 sq ft ranch house....some guestimating only got me "a lot of sq ft to cover" which would explain the lower costs for other houses.

    Home Energy Insulation Phil Wheeler
Went wonderfully. They were on time (a little early, actually) and were cheerful and energetic, as was Eric, the salesman. They did a superb job--everything is sealed up as it should be, but the edges are left open, as they should be. Everything is very tidy. The only reason I gave a B on price is because it seems a little high for the area, but they have a minimum, which I do understand.
