ASundown Construction & WaterproofingI can not say enough great things about this company! We had a large job that had to be done. Ms. Patti, Billy and Shawn worked their tails off for us. We had several issues with our yard. We had a spring pop up in our yard that caused a swamp. We also had water coming in to our crawl space from the outside. They water sealed the back and side of our home and installed a French Drain system with catch basins. These guys were super friendly, reliable, trustworthy, and just all around great guys. AUNIVERSAL PLUMBINGUniversal Plumbing replaced my sewer line. They provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. They have great customer service, educated me on the process, kept me informed along the way and completed the work in a timely fashion with minimal damage to my yard. I called Universal for a second opinion and my experience with Universal far exceeded my experience with the first plumber. If you want to read the full story, it is below. But, to summarize, I highly recommend Universal. There is no question who I will call for all my plumbing needs. The Full Story I experienced a small sewage backup in a tub so I called a plumber to determine the problem. He indicated his probe could not reach the main so I must have a collapsed sewer line. The solution was to replace the line. Before going through the expense of sewer line replacement, I called Universal Plumbing to get a second opinion. The experience with Universal was very different. Larry came to the house and said he would like to determine the problem first before jumping to replacing the line. This required jetting the line and video scoping the line. I agreed. They were able to clear the clog. The camera showed the pipe was intact but the nearly 100 year old pipe sagged in a few places allowing sediment to collect. Larry explained everything to me throughout the process. I watched as they scoped the line and he explained in detail what he saw. The line was working but would likely clog again at some point because of the sag. In the end, I decided to replace the line after all. But, the decision was made with full knowledge of the problem. Universal's estimate was slightly higher but Larry explained that was the maximum price. I was much more confident with their whole approach to analyzing and solving the problem. They kept me informed and educated me from the start. The customer service was outstanding. The crew arrived on time and completed the work. They took extra effort to minimize the damage to my yard. The crew was friendly, courteous and professional. And, once again explained the process and answered my questions along the way. They put my yard back together and cleaned up leaving only the 6 ft wide dirt path on the lawn above the pipe. Topping off the excellent experience, Larry reduced the bill nearly 20% from the original estimate which ended up lower than the other company's quote. He said they didn't have to do as much work as anticipated. Although he had stated the a maximum number, I was still pleasantly surprised by the lower price in the end. DNuvision LandscapeNuVision Landscape Mgmt came out and did a landscaping project for us, and installed a french drain, This was to fix an issue where we had water pooling up next to our house and flooding inside. The solution that his team implemented failed to address the issue almost completely, and actually pooling issue worse. When we originally contracted with his team, they promised that if the solution they implement did not fix the issue they would come out again and fix it. Now that we have had to call for that, Clay and his team are near non-responsive to our attempts to call or email. We are not asking that they come out immediately to fix the problem, but to commit to an appointment, that fits into their schedule. We feel cheated, paying nearly $3K for a solution that doesn't address the problem. Although the sale portion of the company is amazing, and we didn't feel pressured or anything overall, we would not recommend this company due to their failure to follow up client service after the sale.- Andrew S.

AB-Dry Waterproofing and Foundation RepairThey were all really nice. I would tell others that they did pretty good service. It was needed at my house. Four or five people came to do it. It took about a week. They left the area very clean. They gave me the Angie’s List discount price. From what I can tell, they did more than anybody else. Everybody else was just going to dig a ditch in the front part of the house. B-Dry went all the around my house, so I got a better quality of work from them.- julie f.

DUNIVERSAL PLUMBINGWe recently moved to Augusta and needed a gas line installed for our dryer and a food disposal. It was more than $800 for both services, even though the gas heater was right next door to where the line had to be run. The day of the gas line and disposal installation, we had issues with our technician and had to call the office to get him to complete the job. Before he left, he told me the disposal didn't work and I had to get an electrician to come out and run power. The next time we ran the dishwasher, it backed up with water. I called and had them send a different technician out, who insisted it was the placement of our pipes that needed to be changed (another $500+ service) or we had a brand new dishwasher that worked two days before that was defective all of a sudden. Turns out, a friend of ours determined we had a clog in the hose, and once that was cleared, everything was 100% fine. I spoke with the manager named Claudia about our experience, but she has not gotten back to me or offered me any kind of solution for the experience I had after a month. I will not use this company again in the future and recommend anyone reading this review keep looking for a plumber.- Dana B.

AAll Pro Gutters, LLCLeigh, and her husband, were great. Though my install took a bit longer than expected, due to the high volume time in which we ordered our gutters, they made every effort to accommodate. They got everything installed prior to the hurricanes, and even knocked a few hundred bucks off for our troubles. I would definitely hire, or recommend, these professional and kind folks to anyone, anytime.- Adam R.

ARiggin's Pest & Moisture Control CoOur backyard was as hard as rock and a tough job for the crew. The crew put in drainage as quoted and promised. The extra dirt was to be spread in the back yard which was not very well done. The owner, Chris Riggins came and spread and raked to my satisfaction. The only thing that has not been done is that he noticed that one of the drain pipes to the road was a little too high and he said that someone would come and take care of it, and no one has. Our yard is much drier than it was before the work was done.- Sherrie C.

AI have nothing but positive things to say about Burnley Sanitary Sewer & Drain. I first called at 12 pm and Tony (the owner) answered the phone. He explained the ins and outs of the sewer system in addition he let me know what to look out for if I decided to let someone else pump the sewer tank. After getting off of the phone with him, I felt more confident in making a decision. I call another company and they actually priced me a little cheaper price however I decided not to go with them and go with my gut feeling. I called Burnley Sanitary Sewer & Drain back at 1 pm and spoke with his wife (Susan). After some small chat and laughter, she scheduled an appointment for me and contacted one of their crews that was on another job. Within 30 minutes, I received a call to let me know they were on the way. The crew members were awesome after all they were "Devil Dogs" and we had stories to talk about. By 3:30 pm, the gunked up sewer tank had been pumped and I was back at work. I could not ask for a better experience or quicker turnaround about something I had no clue about. I would strongly recommend giving Burnley Sanitary Sewer & Drain a call.

AMatthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.
