Chiropractor reviews in Augusta

    Walker Chiropractic
Dr. Walker did a thorough exam and X-Rays and knew my problem areas immediately. After the first adjustment I felt a great deal of relief. He recommended a year of therapy and adjustments to return my spine to its proper form and function. I am 4 months into my treatments and am feeling so much better. The ladies in the office are just wonderful. While maintaining a pleasant level of professionalism, they manage to project fantastic senses of humor and compassion. This is not a quiet place, so if you require a "zen" environment with calming music and waterfalls, you probably want to look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a knowlegeable, talented chiropractor, this is as good as it gets. There are private areas for consultation and exam, but the treatment areas have open doors so anyone can hear and see everything. There is nothing to hide. Dr. Walker has a joyous countenance and a larger-than-life, uplifting presence. If you want something explained, he will detail things out as much as you need, but if you just want to trust his education and experience, he's happy to get you treated and out and on your way quickly as well. Single treatments ae $30, average price, but bulk packages are a superb deal. I paid for my entire treatment plan in advance and saved even more. They're making a living, not a killing.

I followed Angie's List recommendation to use Dr. Staub. He took the time to listen to my physical problems and took care to make me feel much better. Fabulous staff. Hannach and Sarah are friendly and efficient.

Dr. Lynch is fantastic! She and her receptionist are very friendly; I had no problem using my Groupon; she asked questions to ensure she had all the information she needed. Treatment was good and thorough, and afterwards, she had me go to the spinal massage table. I will most definitely be seeing her even after my Groupon offer has been used up.

    De Graaf, Dr. Henk
He was the first chiropractor I ever went to and I was amazed what I chiropractor can do because sometimes I have a problem with vertigo. I was so amazed. At the beginning of the year I made a commitment and started doing it. I just notice I was starting a little pain in my lower back and he fix that and told me right up front that I would only need three visits. I took longer than that because I had other issues and when I was done he finished all those things. He said to come back after year and he was good. He told me I don't have to go every week. He did a great job.

Found Dr. Lynch via and quot;Grouponand quot; . Price was great. I've been going to her for months now and she had done more to help relieve my back pain than anyone else I've seen, She is very caring and thorough. I can always get an appointment when I need one.

    Mall, Dr. Robert
Dr. Mall approaches care from a different perspective than I had ever encountered. His approach focuses on the Atlas bone at the top of the spine. This makes his treatment menthods much less physically manipulative than other treatment I have experienced. However, for me, this approach was also much less effective than the adjustments I have experienced in the past. After each adjustment I could expect a headache for the rest of the day, and an uncomfortable night's sleep. These things had never been part of previous chiropractic treatments I have had from other providers.
Additonally, I struggled most with the interactions I had with Dr. Mall himself. I have a background in kinesiology and a great deal of experience talking to doctors and other providers. No matter what approach I took to communication with him, I never felt as though he really heard my concerns or complaints- about how my body felt going in to the appointment, or how I felt going home afterwards.
It also took them 2 full weeks to run my insurance, and they said it was because their insurance expert was out of the office. When I was finally billed, it was for a large amount of money that I could have already been making payments on over the course of the three week treatment, but they had never given me the option to pay as I went.

    Webb Chiropractic
Dr. Jablonski made an initial adjustment on the first visit, and over several more visits, my lower back pain greatly diminished. He also offered pointers for how I should set up my office cubicle to help improve my posture and reduce the likelihood of lower back pain. After approximately six visits my lower back pain is essentially gone.
I generally schedule my appointments at the end of a day (around 5:30). On all but one of approximately six visits the wait time was less than 15 minutes. However, I rated Dr. Jablonski a B because at one visit I did have to wait nearly 45 minutes.

    Webb Chiropractic
Dr. Webb is very thorough and sat down to talk to me at length before any hands on therapy was done. She was honest about how my injuries may heal and how long it would take. The office staff are all very, very nice and caring people. They don't make you feel rushed in any way. They will file your insurance for you. I feel Dr Webb took very good care of me. She referred me to another kind of therapist (P.T) as she felt I could benefit from it as well. She is very caring and considerate.

    Walker Chiropractic
My husband and I recently moved to the Augusta area and were looking for a new chiropractor. After getting some information about Walker Chiropractic from a booth they had set up at the River Market we decided to give them a try. The first visit seemed okay although the office staff did not seem to know how to bill our insurance company properly. We also thought Dr. Walker to be very loud and not do a very good job of listening to our concerns. I don't know if that's because he's from New York or what but it doesn't really fit with us. I have a lot of neck problems and over the course of a month he never got my neck adjusted properly. The chiropractor that I had been seeing for a year before I moved spent a lot of time getting my neck adjusted properly, so I know the difference. My husband also felt that his needs were not being addressed. On top of that, there is no sense of patient privacy since everything is open and Dr. Walker seems to yell when he speaks and he runs the patients through like cattle to be tagged. The straw that broke the camel's back was when my husband went in for an adjustment and was treated very rudely by Dr. Walker and the office staff. One of the young ladies that deals with insurance started hemming and hawing like she wanted to ask a question but just couldn't get it out. He said, and quot; What are you trying to ask me?and quot; She then asked if anything had changed because it looked like he suddenly wasn't covered by my insurance. He told her that nothing had changed then went home and pulled his insurance card out and asked if she had the right number. She said she did so my husband went home and called our insurance company. They assured him that he was covered under my policy and then facilitated a conference call between my husband, the insurance representative and Dr. Walker's staff. When the insurance rep started asking the girl questions it was obvious that something was wrong. The rep then asked what policy number she was using and the girl rattled off someone else's policy number. The rep told her that not only was it the wrong policy but that that particular number wasn't with them at all since all of their policy numbersn with the letter P and the number the office girl had been using began with a K. Then the rep asked what dates they had claimed and the girl started with a date before we ever even began looking for a new chiropractor! We are now having to go back and see what they are claiming against our insurance company.

My shoulders were so bad, I couldn't sleep at night. After the first visit, I was able to sleep. Each time I go, my appointment wait is less than five minutes, if at all. The staff is pleasant and cheerful. There is not a sad looking face in the office. They always take the time to answer questions/concerns. I am so glad I'm going to Dr. Chris Walker. I not only like feeling better, but I especially like the Christian atmosphere.
