AAugusta Fencing LLCMy wife contacted Marcus about installing an aluminum fence around our back yard. He came to our house and walked off the area and marked off the lines and the gate placement. He measured the distances and gave us a price. We were impressed with his professional attitude and agreed to the purchase. The materials arrived and his workers came and installed the fence and three gates one afternoon. The work was impressive. The fence lines were straight as an arrow and when they finished you would not have known anyone had been there. There was no dirt residue and the lawn was not disturbed in any way. The remaining materials were were picked up the following day. I cannot exaggerate how happy we were with the fence and the installation. It was a great experience doing business with Marcus. Materials were delivered on time and the installation crew arrived at the appointed and the job was completed professionally and during the time frame indicatted in the contract. CLOWE'SLowes messed up every single step of my flooring process. The contractor they hired (West Flooring) on the other hand, was fantastic. I scheduled to have my house measured for the laminate flooring and West came out on time and did a great job. A fee days later, I returned to Lowes to order and buy the flooring. Their computer system was down, which they didn't tell me until after I was there for over an hour(they later informed me that they had known about the computer issue since early that morning). So I left and came back the next day. I proceeded to order the amount of flooring Lowes told me I needed (35 boxes). Over two weeks later, the contractor (West) called me to tell me Lowes didn't order enough flooring and that I needed 56 more boxes!!!! The CONTRACTOR called me. NOT Lowes. I want back into Lowes, ordered 56 more boxes. A week later, I had to call Lowes to see where my flooring was and it turned out it had been delivered to Lowes and was just sitting there (they were supposed to call me when it arrived at the store to schedule delivery). At that time, I proceeded to schedule my delivery. When they delivered there flooring, they ONLY delivered 56 boxes. I had to call Lowes YET AGAIN to schedule to have the rest of my flooring delivered. Finally, after weeks of messing around with Lowes, West Flooring came back to install the flooring and they did a FANTASTIC job. It took them two days for 1600 sq ft of flooring and it looks flawless!- Nicole F.

DThe actual roof is fine after a few trimming adjustments and replacement of damaged facia. There was little to no supervision present on this job. The jobsite was left a mess. I blew roof off myself. I picked up 2 quarts of nails, a pile of trash, drink bottles, food wrappers, etc... ABC delivered the materials and rather than carry the shingles up the ladder, the driver pulled through the front yard; the sod was torn to pieces. After five phone calls, three visits from RPI employees and speaking with a business owner, the yard repair was never completed. I only wanted soil added to the ruts left by the truck wheels. The last employee who visited assured me that he would see it done. Beginning with AJ, this is the most unprofessional operation I have dealt with during the course of this remodeling project.

BThe did a good job with the roof but they were very messy. They did not cover our shrubs, the workmen dumped their lunch remains (bones and all) in our front yard, and we are still finding roofing nails in the years two years later. Overall a good basic job for a fair price, but definitely no bells and whistles here. Expect to have to do a lot of your own clean-up.

CThe first day install of the walk in door was ok except the door was hinged to open out in the wrong direction. The build of the barn style bay door did not go well and essentially 3 hours after my brother suggested how to attach the plywood on the outside they did so and stopped for the day. When I complained as I considered the men not able to do the job the boss Randy came out on Monday with the same 2 men and claimed that we didn't specify how the door should open and stated that there would be no extra charge to do the build right. We (my brother and I) explained "Old School" side hinged bay doors were built out of wood and not just a metal frame with plywood put only on the outside as they thought. The workmen then went to work building the door as we asked with interior and exterior casing over the metal frame. The owner Randy Tudor had claimed when he was there that he didn't have his notes with so could not say what the price was. When the job was complete he failed to come to get payment and sent a text message indicating the total was 1625.00 for the job. Today, Wednesday after texting back and forth a couple of times he showed up and provided a receipt for the agreed sum of 1200.00 for the job and accepted payment stating he wasn't going to argue the price.

FThey quoted 1100 to install gutters and even though they were not the lowest we had them do the work. They did the install and paid by check. Next morning pouring rain and water coming from between the new gutters and fascia. Their response " Oh, you must need flashing for an additional 518. dollars. The flashing would do what the drip edge should of done had they not mounted on top of it. In checking they mounted the gutters on our manufactured home over the drip edge so of course the rain would drop right down behind the gutters! Pictures show where they mounted the gutters and you can see the drip edge behind them. Also notice the un-caulked screws in the gutters! We have put a stop payment on the check and will pay when it is fixed as they should of known they did not do it so water would not come down behind the gutters! NEVER mentioned flashing until after they installed the gutters and I had a problem. How is that for professional??? So sad. Oh, don't call the office most times as they don't respond! Run do not walk away or pay more then you should!

FWe had SouthPoint out for an evaluation of the roof after a home inspector had found a "small leak" in the roof. Seems SouthPoint misjudged by just "a hair." After a general contractor pointed out what they had missed it was obvious the gentleman from SouthPoint knew little about roofing. This was verified when they started to repair the "small leak." There was no flashing, just decorative trim that had been placed by Carolina Signature Homes, when the house was built in 2007. The headers were rotted out and one has to be totally replaced. This was a major design flaw. The man from SouthPoint was given free reign to evaluate the roof, both from the inside and the outside of the home. We weren't interested in just fixing the leak. We were about to close on the house and wanted the best roof we could get. They even said the gutters need cleaning. We had to have them come back again to even do that correctly. The owner would not stand behind his bid. He said the added damage was "outside the scope of the bid." It would never have been "outside the scope" of their work if the estimator knew what he was doing. As someone new to the community I was hesitant to post such a negative review but this is negligence and if I can spare one person from hiring this company then it is worth it.

FAbsolutely the worst experience!! They did our roof after tornado. We immediately had leaks. They came back did terrible patch work. We still have leaks. The owner nor his son will come out to look at their terrible work. They just keep putting it off. Our ceiling now needs to be replaced in our kitchen and back hallway. The most unprofessional people we have ever worked with! Stay away!
