    Choice Home Warranty
So, why do you get a home warranty company- to warranty the appliances that you have in your home, right? well be leery with this company, every call in that I made was another "co-pay" out and they denied my claim for 1 reason or another. I was with this company for almost a year with 2 properties and cancelled my policies because they kept denying my claims, with both properties. I do not recommend Golden & Golden Repair or Miller Electric for anything! The ONLY company that came to my home and DID quality work was GEORGIA-LINA APPLIANCE REPAIR < Josh & Crystal are wonderful and their professionalism is outstanding!!! Only good I found with using Choice Home Warranty is GEORGIA-LINA APPLIANCE, and I don't need to pay a home warranty company for them to deny anything I call in concerning. So I say save your money and just call Josh and Crystal @ GEORGIA-LINA APPLIANCE REPAIR..... AND NO THEY HAVE NOT PAID ME FOR THIS REVIEW. I lost my monthly payments and a deductible (I call a "co-pay") fee and I should've just called a repairman.... I got this home warranty because of my HVAC system and yes Choice Home Warranty DENIED that claim also.... SO whats the use in paying for something to protect your home appliances if you will have to just pay out for the service and... Oh and most of the service techs that you will get, if you don't listen to the call will overcharge you and the Choice (they'll give you 1 price and Choice another). BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THE TECHNICIANS THEY SEND! I sure got a bad taste for something that should've saved me money....NAH I paid out more than if I would've just saved the money that I paid to them and paid directly for anything that tore up. Thanks for reading my review, hope I have helped save someone the headaches that Choice caused me! *Ac Repair claim denied *Plumbing Repair fixed after 4th time of having to call back into, company even went so far as to throw the broken parts into my yard! AND broke my dishwasher in the mix of things *Microwave Repair fixed promptly (by GEORGIA-LINA.... That's 1 reason why I song their praises lol) *Dishwasher Repair (caused by plumbing technician).... took 4 months!!!! only to offer 140.00 for a 500.00 DW *Garbage Disposal Repair claim denied * Fridge Repair technician unplugged my fridge AND said he fixed ... NOT! BUT I WAS CHARGED THE Co-Pay *Washing Machine Repair claim denied $$Trust Me save your hard earned cash$$

    After Hours Appliance Repair
I had provided model # ... & repairman did his research. Machine is relatively new & he saw we had too much water pressure turned on at back of machine. When Lowes delivered & set up...they turned it on properly...then we moved it to renovate. We havent had an issue since he corrected the water pressure.

    Ace Maintenance & Repair
Very professional and courteous. I called in the morning and they were able to come by that same afternoon. They kept me posted about what time they would arrive. They were able to diagnose the problem and provide a temporary solution as well as a reasonable estimate for a more permanent repair.

    Sears Appliance Repair
Technician said the appliance needed a new compressor, evaporator, and heat exchanger and the repairs would be $500. I doubted the technicians assessment and boy am I glad. The problem was caused by a freon leak which another company repaired for $150. Replacing the freezer is not an option because it is part of a "set". And a new one would not fit in the space nor would a new one match.

    Rawlins Appliance
The owner came out and showed us what was wrong, a sock was in the outer tub and repaired it. But when I went to do the first load of laundry it did the same thing. When he came back, it was about 10 days because of sewer problems not related, he tightened all the sensors and connectors, and it has been fine since. There was no charge for the second visit because it was the same problem and they guarantee their work for 30 days. He was on time, courteous, and even showed us how to fix it next time if it happened again, which it hasn't

    WAYNE'S SERVICE ALL
A different HVAC service provider who is also highly rated by Angie's list.( See my other review in HVAC category quoted me a price of $4000 to replace heat exchanger and $5500 to replace unit.......this other HVAC company did not provide written estimate) After being told my repair would be so expensive I had no idea what to do so my wife told me to get another estimate. I originally called Wayne to replace my unit with a used unit my neighbor offered to give me. Wayne asked to look at my old unit and I hesitated because I did not want to pay a second service charge. He offered to look at my unit for no charge so I said ok. He then looked at it and offered to fix for $1500. So we were overjoyed and said yes. The service man came out a few days later. and in two or three hours had our unit good as new. He was professional, polite and knowledgable in his craft. I still do not understand how a different HVAC service company which was recommended by Angie's list customers could be $2500 more expensive. I am certainly glad I called Wayne and will do so again in the future.

    Augusta Appliance Repair & Service
Augusta Appliance replaced heat sensor in my oven. Before replacing sensor he talked with me about the age of my oven and cautioned me that there was a chance that this would not fix the problem. I called him that night and told him that the problem was not fixed. He came  back to my house and tried to find another part but parts are not being made for my oven anymore. I ended up having  to buy a new oven but felt that Augusta Appliance was very helpful in trying to solve my problem. I will call them again if needed.

    Rawlins Appliance
The technician arrived about 3pm and proceeded to diagnose my refrigerator. He seemed very knowledgeable. He was courteous and very professional. He called about 20 minutes before he showed up. He proceeded to empty my freezer and removed the coil covering. Once he had the problem, he informed me of what it was and that he had brought the needed part with him. After receiving my OK on the pricing, he proceeded to fix the defrost regulator. He was done by 3:40pm.  I was surprised that he was able to fix my problem so quickly. I will definitely use them again in the future. My only dislike is the huge window of time in which they will come out. It forces you to take of work for time that wasn't needed.

    BEECH ISLAND APPLIANCE SERVICE CO
James visited our home twice to first diagnose a refrigerator that was no longer cooling (Freezer at near 32 deg F vs 0 deg F) and later install the necessary replacement coil.  He was prompt, very friendly, and took extra time to explain both the problem and what proper operation of the components should be.  During the second visit, for the installation of the replacement part, he worked very quickly and, despite having a late afternoon appointment, James stuck around to ensure the refrigerator was cooling properly and fully operational before departing.  While working, he was more than happy to discuss any other appliances that might have had issues and offered great insight into why some behaviors have appeared over the years (washing machine squeaks, particular sounds from the fridge, etc).  Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I will continue to use Beech Island Appliance for any future repairs.

    Whitehead Appliance Center Inc
Perfect!! My kitchen is functioning well again and I can cook anything I wish. Polite knowledgable gentlemen who weren't afraid to tackle a hard job and REPAIR a good appliance. While of course I wish it was cheaper, it was a fair price for the hours and condition ( hot roof for exhaust fan struck by lightning) involved. Much cheaper than buying new. As a "lagniappe" they vacuumed the coils of my Sub-zero to keep it running well also!
