    Yorktown's Handyman LLC
They're very professional, they work hard and get the job done in a very timely manner usually. It was about 26 hours of labor. They're very responsive. I didn't have any complaints. They did a lot of stuff.

    American Crawlspace Solutions
I first called two of the big players in this area. One came out, talked more than he listened, and did not do a thorough job researching the issue. He already knew the problem, which came with a $5,000 price tag and involved a jack hammer drilling a hole in our basement floor and installing a pump. That was the least expensive alternative to fix what he was sure the problem - the other option was almost $20,000.
The other big company made a big deal of both owners being at the home for two hours when their tech came. We rearranged our work schedules to accommodate this request only to have them call and cancel the day before because they just realized they don't service our area. I asked if they serviced our area when I set up the appointment and at the time they did.
I called American Crawlspace Solutions who returned my call right away and had a tech out that day. He listened, researched the issue and told me what he was almost certain was the problem. Rather than fixing it right then though, he wanted to be sure and gave me instructions of what to watch for at the next heavy rain. I did this and he was exactly correct. He came back out and in less than an hour had the leak sealed up for $475.
We've had two heavy rains since the repair and NO water has come in! Jeremy was professional, honest, and neat in his work. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!

The tech seemed nice enough, but spent more time talking than listening. He knew right away what the problem was and didn't even look at where our new waterline was coming into the house to see if that's where the leak was. Instead he launched into a sales pitch and gave me two options - one was $5,000 and involved bringing in a jack hammer and drilling a hole in the basement floor to install a pump. The other option was about $20,000 and involved digging up the entire front of our house. He offered a discount if I scheduled the work that day, but I wanted another opinion. I'm glad I did, because the leak was around our new waterline and the repair cost me $475! I felt like the Aquaguard rep was more focused on making a big sale than truly identifying the problem and how to best fix it.

    Tri-State Waterproofing
The work was done as promised. To this date, I have had no problems. The work is under lifetime warranty, which was a big seller for me.
My neighbor is not happy with how the work Tri-State did has impacted her yard drainage, even though her gutter drainpipe dumps onto my property. Tri-State and myself are not in the wrong on this issue - my neighbor has been using my yard for drainage for many years and now things have changed. The owner of Tri-State was kind enough to meet with my neighbor and I, to try to explain to her the flow of the drainage in my yard. She did not understand, and he even offered to run an underground pipe from her gutters out to her backyard, free of charge. She will not be made happy no matter what, but he did everything he could to help a situation that was my problem.

    B-Dry Waterproofing and Foundation Repair
The service turned out well. They did the service fine but forgot to leave a receipt. I called them back a number of times and was never able to get the receipt. But the work was done well and promptly it was just the follow-up is what I was disappointed with.

    Trotter Co
They had to regrade out front. The put a barrier up on the outside. It was a big job and they did great. Our basement wall was bulging from the water pressure outside and they fixed it all up. They were very detailed with the work they did. They were on time and they cleaned up the mess afterwards.

A+ PLUS CONCRETE & FOUNDATION REPAIR
This was unquestionable the best repair experience I have ever had. They were so professional, careful with my carpet, and creative in finding an effective solution. At first they seemed like detectives figuring out why the sub basement was so damp. The solutions really worked.

    Tri-State Waterproofing
The basement in my home has been flooding for about 30 years. No expert has been able to find the trouble/cause and repair it, until I found Tri State Water Proofing. From the minute Virgil (one of the owners) walked into my home, I knew that the problem would be solved. I have never ever worked with a company or with people who took such pride in their work. The estimate was reasonable. Everything was explained to me in detail. I was given a written contract telling me what would be done and when. Virgil's crew was prompt, courteous, friendly and extremely efficient. If they said they were going to be here, there were here. The job turned out to be bigger and more trouble than we had anticipated. Even with that, quality work was done and done well. I cannot recommend this group enough. My basement is now water free for the first time in 30 years. Virgil will work on a project until he gets it perfect. One of his crew members told me, "He wakes up in the night worrying about his work. If he thinks he has not done something 100%, he will go back the next day and make it right." I have witnessed this first hand. Without reservation and with 100% assurance, I highly recommend Tri State Water Proofing. They are superb!!
