Terrible!! I had to take it back TWICE and it still wasn't fixed. Every time I took it back they decided the problem was something different. All they did was keep fixing things that didn't need to be fixed, which is why it still isn't working and they problem was never resolved. $500+ later I had to take my car somewhere else and the mechanic there was furious that Butler's did the work they did because it did not address the issue at all meaning that the problem I described could not be fixed by replacing the parts that they did. I called the owner, Travis, to complain and all he did was yell at me, curse at me and hang up on me! It was unbelievable! Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

    1) When first got it back, (after the repair) alarm started going off every time enter car after lock it, until put key in. today, finally they fixed alarm problem. Its been 1 1 days since initial repair ATTEMPT, and But this NEW problem remains 2) door has huge brand new airflow through door, and leaks now! (When drive through car wash or hose ....) said I need new door!!!! About $200 used, plus go pick up about 250 miles away, then pay see someone to put on!!!! so far Paid about 175 in used parts snd 175 in labor, but now door LEAKS, and said all they can do. Didnt try very hard or long to try adjusting the door to get a water tight seal. Said I needed new hinges which i ordered for $60; then would cost $44 more to put them on, but turns out hinges was not the problem (door is bent now) They said it must of been hit hard to bend it, but it was not when I had it!!!! When I took to them, the driver door was hitting front fender. And wouldn't open. I suspect they pried it open at the top of the door, which is where door appears bent. also just in front of the fender. They bent the door back some, but it still leaks!!!! No offer any or all $ back. I doubt I can return $60 junk yard parts. Owner said that's all they can do. Very upsetting to now have car leaking! ; not enough $ more (probably about $300 more!!) to have it not leak. Guess may put tarp over it when it rains. They did great work previously on a nisson truck I had, and very reasonably priced, which is why I went back, but this last experience has greatly soured my perception of their quality and integrity.

When I had a problem with my car's radiator, I first took it to another mechanic who had done a tune up for me. They wanted to charge me over $1000 dollars for the radiator and unrelated items they said came up in the diagnostic. I decided to get a second opinion and took my car to AAMCO. After the diagnostic at AAMCO, the work turned out to cost half of what the first mechanic had given as an estimate. The manager of the shop treated me as if I were a top customer, even though it was the first time I'd used their services. I was extremely satisfied, and when I needed to have my car looked at again, I took it back. Unfortunately, the second time there were so many repairs required that I decided it wasn't worth the investment. Even so, AAMCO did not charge me for the diagnostic performed or the few days the car stayed in their lot while I decided what to do with it. I am extremely satisfied with their service and commitment towards providing clear information and pricing to customers.

Gary is friendly, and extremely dedicated to his work. He often opens early and closes late. He will tell you whether you really need work done or not. He's a very good person to check with after you've been told you need work at another shop. That is how I found him, and I never left. He charged me less than $300 for a timing belt, and cannot believe that other mechanics in the area charge 800. His prices are unbelievable. He keeps overhead low. he is a great guy to work with. Extremely trustworthy.

They asked me to bring it in on Saturday morning and true to their word they were done with my car in an hour. Before that I had taken it to Pep Boys and they said that my system needed complete replacement and told me it would cost $2500. It's possible that there may be a minor leak somewhere that may need to be repaired but as of the last four days, the air conditioning has been doing just fine. They charged a little over $100. If it needs further repairs, that's where I'll take it.

The censor is working good.  It prevents the car from stalling.  I wasn't real thrilled about their prices.  I have compared their prices to others and they aren't that much more expensive, but they can be. One of the things I like about them is that they do it quicker but I think you pay for it. You can find a real cheap person to do it but it may be sitting for a week.  They have a van that will take you home or they will pay for you to have a rental car.  They have a nice waiting room to wait with bottled water, pretzels and sugary snacks.  They also have another room where you can purchase snacks like peanut butter crackers. They also have tv's in the waiting room.  They did a great job.  They washed the car, vacuumed the inside and put stuff on the tires to make them shine. I think we waited about an hour.

We have used Butler's for out automotive needs for years, most recently in November when my son's car was shaking considerably at speeds above 60 mph and we had to have it towed by AAA from Greenville, SC, to Butler's. They did a quick diagnostic, determined it was the oil pressure given the age of the car (2001), and made recommendations for us to prevent it in the future (keep oil close to full given car burns through oil quickly). Price out the door was $40, whereas I know other mechanics would have charged several hundred dollars. Honest, fair, and reliable.

I like their service. I'm treated like a king when I go there. They got a place you can sit and watch TV if you wanted to. They'll take you back in their van, take you back home. They won't leave you there hanging, and they would call you to let you know what's going on. They gave me a free loner car, which I liked. The only thing they missed was putting the new sticker on for the next oil change. I called and they apologized and said to wheel to car by to put on a new sticker. They're very responsive.

Fine. My main complaint is that, I still don't know if there exists a Safelite franchise actually located in Athens anymore. The receipt they gave me had their address of where it was before, but when I contacted the company by phone, they were as puzzled as I was. I was unable to schedule my service online (and get the discount) because of this situation. When I had tried to schedule online, the closest locations were near Commerce and down in Conyers, both about 45 minutes away. I didn't really need them to come to my house, as my windshield was just badly cracked, not broken, and I prefer to keep the number of strange people coming to my house to a minimum, despite the convenience of their mobile installation. I would have preferred to drive to their shop, if it was located where the phone book said it used to be.

It was good. We really like the cars. The guy who sold us the cars was absolutely wonderful and we went back to him when we bought my small car. Their salesmen are very incredible and they're very nice and they take care of you but their service department is lacking. I had done all the research and figured out what we were going to pay and we had told the saleman that upfront what we would pay and he actually gave me a better deal. He was looking long term versus that one sale.
