    The service person came out and assess what was wrong. He said that the pipe was clogged and proceeded to "blow" out the pipe from the debris. All good. I then asked him if he was going to fix the pipe (put back together) and he said, I won't get the ladder down for that in this heat. Come to find out he had a fear of heights. It was about 16 ft off the ground. So my pipe is still broken. The leak is fixed. This was the "secondary" overflow pipe.

    Andy Marcus came out and inspected my house very quickly upon my request. He also got me his proposal quickly, which outlined 4 options for the Bryant brand products. I was in California when he came so I couldn't ask questions with him there. My mom is 80 and so I emailed him a list of questions. First, he got ****** that I mistook his company for one in TN that had a bad review on the BBB when I asked that he tell me more about it. Rather than be glad that I asked and give him a chance to point out my mistake, his reply made it clear he was irritated. Then after another similar exchange on a question that I had about him taking away the old equipment-- he was irritated that I didn't see he already said that in his proposal... The next response from him was that I should find another company. I can only assume that he couldn't or didn't want to answer the other questions I had, which were guided from a lot of online research so they were perfectly valid questions. I even offered to talk through them rather than handle via email. His response was so unprofessional and rude. To think, I almost spent over 12k with him, I can only imagine how rude and unprofessional he would be when he didn't have to win my business because he already had my money. I recommend skipping over this company and Andy Marcus specifically, if he should try to rename his company. Here's a transcript of the email exchange. 1. I saw one complaint with the BBB but no response. Can you tell me more about that situation? 2. How big of a unit do I need and what method did you use to calculate that? 3. How many variable units have you installed this year? 4. How many units total? Will you provide 3-5 customer references from this year? 5. Is there any guarantee or warranty on the labor and installation itself? 6. Are you the omly installer working for the company? If so, when do you plan to retire? Do you have employees to help with the installations? 7. What happens to any warranties if you retire or go out of business? 8. Will i need to get new stairs fitted and installed for the attic or will i be able to use the ones i have? 9. Will you provide a more detailed contract covering the duct work, the stairs and opening to the attic, etc. 10. Is disposal of the old equipment included? 11. Do you provide ongoing maintenance and repair services or would i need to hire someone else? 12. If i go with the best option, can you go lower on the total price? 13. Is there anything else I should be asking, if it were you marking this purchase that i haven't asked? 14. If it were you, which option would you choose? 15. What is the soonest you could install? 16. Why is the variable option only an 18-SEER? From my research, it looks like it should be a 20.5 or 21. 17. From my research, even though Carrier, Bryant, and Day & Night are sister brands, and generally in that order of price; the D&N brand doesn't offer the variable unit. Is that correct?     This company has been fine until recently - I have had to have 6 service calls for one issue - highly disruptive to my life and certainly a waste of resources on their part. Have had some poor quality work from a HVAC tech (didn't correctly diagnose issue or not the whole issue) and plumber (put new AC drain in and left it lower than drain it went into causing leak)

    We have our HVAC system replaced two years ago and are highly satisfied with the installation. For the maintenance work, we are lucky to have Nima as our technician. He is highly knowledgeable. He does a thorough checking of our system every half year. He fixed a minor gas leak that has been a nuisance for years. We ask for Nima as our tech each time we received a maintenance call.

    It's never a good sign when water is coming out the bottom of the AC unit. The technician came onsite within the same day, climbed up into our sweltering hot attic and had everything figured out and fixed within twenty minutes. Our AC condensate drain line was severely clogged and I was unable to clear it out. The technician had tool that blew high pressure air bursts down the line and that finally cleared out the clog. I highly recommend using Reliable. They are very easy to do business with and their pricing is very fair.

    My relationship with Coolray began in April 2014. I was in need of replacement of two HVAC systems. I met with a few companies to review needs and obtain quotes. In addition to HVAC replacement, each one noted different needs - like plenum replacement, ductwork modifications, etc. Coolray's rep was the only one that noted all of the areas that the other companies mentioned as well as one that I had noticed but not mentioned - the addition of a return in a room to which we keep the door closed. I don't believe that I got a great "deal" on this job, but I feel that the price was fair. I upgraded significantly, but feel it was well worth the additional cost. I have utilized Coolray for semiannual maintenance and the tech who comes out has always been on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. I am in need of HVAC replacement at another home and I will be calling Coolray when I'm ready.

    This company was assigned through my Home Owners Warranty program AHS to fix my A/C. Chris came and and inspected my unit. He replaced my blower and then told me that my unit needs about two pounds of freon. He overcharged me $140 per pound. After taking my payment of $280, he informs me that my damper board also needs to be repaired. He claimed that he would need to call my warranty company to send out another technician to do the work. He also told me that I could not use my air until the damper system was fixed. Instead of receiving a call from another technician, my warranty company called to tell me that the damper system is not covered under warranty. I think Chris knew the damper system was not covered and he purposely chose not to tell me until after taking my payment. This is very shady business and my A/C unit is still broken. I would never chose to use this company again.
