    Handyman Connection of Alpharetta
Victor, the pro who came out was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He spent a good deal of time writing up the proposal, performing measurements, and making calls to affirm the cost of materials required. His bid was not so much an estimate rather a true project cost. The work was completed thoroughly, quickly and above standard.

CRSI Siding | Windows | Painting
CRSI was the only company I got estimates from that could provide all of the services I needed - painting, wood repair, rain gutter repair and door replacement. This was the only company that did complete inspection of the repairs needed rather than guessing. The job was completed without any unexpected costs and the final cost did not exceed estimates. The crew that worked on the house was friendly and hard working. The house now looks great!

    Thifault Exteriors
Dan Thifault just finished renovating our back cedar deck. It is large, cedar, and 25 years old. Dan did a very thorough inspection, recommended "must do", "should do" and nice to do" actions and provided a detailed estimate. He provided all materials, did the work himself and hauled away all debris. He is a great carpenter and his work was excellent. He's fastidious, sweats the details, is a very nice person to work with and charges a fair rate. He came on on time and on budget. Highly recommend him for any type of exterior carpentry work!

    Alain Pressure Washing
Alain's team did an excellent job on all facets of the project. The house and driveway looked very clean after the pressure washing. The deck and fence required extra attention given their age and condition. Alain's team did a fantastic job making them both look attractive again. I would highly recommend his company.

    Home-Aid Home Repair
This was one of the most enjoyable experiences we've had with a repair company. We had checked BBB ahead of time, and he has an A+ rating, which is why we asked for a quote. Mike Hood (owner) spent a good amount of time with us while assessing the problem - and we had the quote that evening. As compared to other companies we've worked with, Mike was the most detailed in what he would do - and he honored every aspect of his quote - and then some! His team repaired the water damaged in our basement, pinpointed where the leak originated from and repaired not only the leak, but parts of our deck and door. Mike made sure we understood exactly what the problem was and showed us how he would fix it. His team cleaned up all their supplies so that it appeared there were never there. We are extremely happy with with Home-Aid Repair and have already requested a quote for another project.

    Bassett Construction Services LLC
We had a deck and screen porch that had reached the end of its useful life. We also concluded that the existing structure did not meet our needs. These issues led us to pursue replacing the existing porch and deck with a substantially larger, more functional solution. We spent a fair amount of time documenting the concept and the details for what we hoped to achieve before we met with prospective builders. This helped us consistently communicate our expectations when we solicited bids. We considered three proposals, all from firms that were highly rated, had plenty of references, and could readily provide examples of their work. Two firms gave us proposals that were very consistent with our requirements. Diego Fracasso of Bassett was the exception. He looked at our amateur drawings and spent time in our backyard studying the structure of our house. He advised us that while he could build what we specified, we would likely not be pleased with the results. Diego then offered a series of recommendations to improve the approach. After getting over our initial surprise, we valued his input and advice. We selected Bassett for a number of reasons: We were impressed with the craftsmanship of the projects that Bassett provided as examples. The finished product was consistent with what we hoped to achieve. We appreciated having our ideas challenged. We ended up with a much better outcome. We checked references and got consistently positive comments from other Bassett clients to whom we talked. Bassett was happy to provide detailed pricing. Diego worked through a several iterations before we arrived at the contract price for the project. Diego was a willing collaborator and very patient with our effort to finalize our requirements. While Bassett was not the low bidder, we grew increasingly confident that the final price would be very close to the contract price. We were equally confident that we would have to deal with a series of change orders with the other bidders. The major construction phase of our project lasted approximately six weeks, from demolition of the existing structure to being able to use the new porch. Bassett completed the project well within the expected schedule. The final price did change as a result of features we decided to add during the course of the construction. Bassett did not present any change orders for in-scope work that exceeded the original bid price. Diego was routinely on-site to monitor the status of the project and answer questions. He did an excellent job of keeping us informed; not just about status, but also about upcoming decisions we would have to make. Communications with Bassett during construction were never an issue. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with the construction crew from Bassett and their subcontractors. They were great and we would welcome them back any time. The quality of the work was outstanding and they were highly productive. We were very aware of the attention to detail that they devoted to each step of the project. In fact, I think we had only a couple of things that did not come out as we expected and needed to be reworked. When these issues arose, they were promptly addressed and there was no discussion of additional cost. We also appreciated their efforts to keep the construction site clean. We never had an issue with trash or construction debris, even during tear-down of the old structure. We are really happy with the outcome. We are just as pleased today with the quality of work and the value we received for our investment as we were when we wrote the final check for the project. We would recommend Bassett without reservation.

    Home Wizards
Recently purchased a house with a known issue with a sagging 2 story deck as well as a poorly built set of external stairs. It was complicated enough that it required us to get an engineer in to provide a plan for everything that needed to be done. Scott was able to take that plan and provide an initial estimate on the work with enough detail to show he fully understood the problem and what needed to be done, something that most other contractors weren't even willing to touch, prior to us purchasing the home (allowing us to properly negotiate). Because of his attention to detail and thoroughness it was an easy choice to go with Scott over the other contractors who did provide a bid. We found Scott to be very thorough and detailed in his work and are extremely pleased with the job he and his crew performed. The decks have been fully restored AND improved (screened in the middle one as part of the build) and we're now able to fully enjoy them this fall! I'd highly recommend Scott and his team.

    BEAR MOUNTAIN CUSTOM PAINTING
Initial estimate and work was all done to my satisfaction. They were very responsive and worked with us to determine the best paint to use for our situation with our decks. They were also very flexible with the scheduling the work.

    Weber Pressure Washing
Mike Weber charged us $450 to pressure wash our home. Not only was he unprofessional in stopping halfway because he had promised to take his girlfriend to a "carnival", but he brought her back to complete the job a day or two later. The biggest disappointment was when he destroyed a 2x4 foot patch of grass, he also killed 3 more shrubs (one of which was very sentimental) and damaged several more plants. He left sticky product (bleach) on all the windows and his girlfriend removed the expensive stain from our stained concrete patio! I reached out to him and he came by, told me to give it about two weeks to see if the plants would survive. When I texted him to let him know the damage was permanent, he stopped responding. He is NOT a trained professional and does not care about ruining your property. DO NOT HIRE HIM. I have pictures and texts to back up my claims. He has had a year to make things right and he hasn't, which is why I am now writing a review. My dead grass and shrubs have also not grown back.

    Affordable Home Concepts LLC
I am very pleased with the work this company did on my deck. We had this deck built in 2015 (was designed with waterproofing on upper floor). Despite several attempts a couple of contractors to do job right, we consistently had problems with leaking. Adam of Affordable Home Concepts has done what the others either could not or would not - and that is take the time to analyze the problem thoroughly, and then put in the time and appropriate materials to get the job right. The deck now looks great and no longer leaks!
