Concrete Repair reviews in Alpharetta

    Lumbee Concrete Inc
Very satisfied with the work done by Lumbee Concrete. They did an excellent job with the removal of our old driveway and were able to pour our new driveway the next day. Our new driveway looks great and the area was left clean, something that was very important to us and our neighbors. I highly recommend this contractor, Alex was very professional and clearly takes pride in his work.

    Sudlow Concrete
I contacted Sudlow Concrete based upon my research and reviews found. They were most prompt in returning my call, following my request for a quote via their web site. Three or four days later Mr. Sudlow came to the house, provided an estimate (which I accepted) and within 10 days I had new driveway - a very long, sloping and winding driveway from the street - approximately 3,700 square feet of driveway. The removal and installation crews were very professional and knowledgeable, given I needed to have the new driveway slope away from my house for water flow control. The old driveway was removed on the first day, and the second day the new concrete was down and completed. Sudlow Concrete exceed my expectations for work completed and I would highly recommend them to any and all who are looking for a quality organization and "nice people".

    Concrete Alpha
First of all, I am a real customer. I am not one of those hired guns who write fake, glowing reviews for a company. My husband and I could not be more pleased with Concrete Alpha, Madson Silva and all of the crew and employees. Let me begin by stating that we had originally hired another contractor and ran into significant problems and were forced to terminate him from our job. We were very wary of getting into the same situation, but after consulting with a general contractor we felt we developed the proper questions to ask. Mr. Silva gave us all the right answers on how the patio should be properly built and poured. As I am a stickler for such details as proper insurance and licenses and I was provided with an insurance certificate and copy of the license. I called each insurance company and thoroughly vetted this company and was satisfied that the insurance was in place. (The prior contractor had lied about his insurance.) The license was also current and valid. We were also provided with a reference in our same subdivision, and while we were never able to meet up in person, we communicated via e-mail and I saw the photos of the work and was pleased. Four for four! This company was able to fit us in on a fairly short schedule, which was great because we had a gaping mud hole and a poorly built cinder block wall in the back yard. Because we installed new, expensive sod a few years ago, we did not want trucks running over it. They laid plywood panels over the grass and drove their skid loader, compactor, and other equipment over the plywood. No damage to our grass! The crew showed up as scheduled, before the sun was even up! The entire cinder block wall, poorly constructed by the other contractor, was knocked down and the entire area was excavated, graded and a trench dug for the footing, all within the first day. The second day the crew was on site again at O'dark early ready to work. They were so good to accommodate a last minute request for a step, as the grade was steep, resulting in a rather high patio which my elderly, arthritic, nearly blind dog would not be able to navigate. They added extra reinforcement with rebar as we are going to place a large hot tub in one area. They even joined the patio to the slab foundation with rebar. My husband and I joked that only the patio and cockroaches will still be around after a nuclear war. The cement was poured, scored, and brushed all in one day, the crew cleaned up the entire area, they even took away some garbage bags of ours along with their garbage, and even swept off our front walk! Unbelievable. Honestly, I could cry. I think I'll invite them all to holiday dinners. The patio is beautiful. We cannot wait for it to be cured so we can use it (as the project was completed just one day prior to my writing this review.) When we are ready, we plan to have them back to put in a new driveway. Do yourself a favor, research, research, research, then hire Concrete Alpha.

    Avatar Exteriors
So, why am I posting a review for this "exteriors" contractor, because they also advertise for home remodeling under the Avatar name. We were ready to begin a kitchen remodel, but they cancelled the contract when I insisted on seeing their contractor's license and proof of workers compensation insurance. This company has neither. A contractor's license is required in Georgia, and workers compensation insurance ensures that if their employees are injured while working on your property, they are covered. Not having such insurance may expose the homeowner to a claim for injury related costs. Forewarned is forearmed.

    Atlanta Concrete
Napoleon was GREAT!!! Was very quick at responding to my initial request. Came out to our location the next day to provide us with a quote. We initially only needed the concrete poured, but when Napoleon came out to provide the quote we also showed him other areas of work we needed done and he said he could do that too! Very friendly and professional! Definitely a keeper.

    Creative Concrete Solutions
A+ Rating. Creative Concrete replaced our driveway, walkway to front door and our back patio. Price was competitive with others. Excellent quality work & service. They were easy to work with and made sure I thoroughly understood each stage of the process. Our neighbors were so impressed (as we were). I believe if you're going to go to the expense of getting a new concrete, you might as well use the best. These guys really know what they're and doing! Great Company.

    Concrete Solutions of Atlanta
They came on the first day just as scheduled and they removed the old drive. It rained the next day so they had to wait, but Wednesday they came and poured the new drive. They stayed long after dark to make sure it was all done properly, then covered it with plastic because of the rain forecast that night.

    Sudlow Concrete
Im only giving a B rating because while the end result was fabulous, there was quite a bit of collateral damage during the job. One of our landscape lights was broken which my husband was able to fix. Two sprinkler heads were broken and a piece of the PVC pipe buried as a part of the sprinkler system was broken into numerous pieces. All of the lights and sprinkler heads had been flagged prior to the job being started. I was getting nowhere with the project manager re the repairs and ended up calling the owner. Sudlow did take care of the damage. One of the sprinkler heads was repaired by one of their employees. I had to have the sprinkler company come to repair the other, but Sudlow reimbursed me the charges. Other than that, the project went smoothly from beginning to end. Gentlemen who actually did the work were professional and detail oriented....driveway looks GREAT!

    COMPLETE CONCRETE AND MASONRY
Matthew and his team did an excellent job of replacing my old, sagging driveway and walkway. He is very knowledge, professional, responsive, on-time and supervised the entire project from start to finish. He also suggested how installing a drain pipe from downspout away from the house and driveway / walkway would eliminate future drainage and runoff problems. He and his crew did a superb job of coordinating the timing of the equipment and materials so that the demolition of the old and installation of the new driveway and walkway was completed in one day. Members of his team came by the next day to inspect the work, ensure everything was cleaned up and removed the framing. After delivery of the bricks, his mason did an excellent job of rebuilding front steps from the walkway to the front stoop. The quality of the workmanship, the dedication to detail, the expertise and professionalism Matthew and his team displayed during the entire process is hard to find with today's contractors. I am very pleased with the finished product and would highly recommend Complete Concrete and Masonry.

    Sudlow Concrete
I was referred to Bill Sudlow by a friend who had used his services a year or two ago. I was told that his prices were significantly better than other quotes he had received. I got a couple of quotes, and it was true today. The price and my friend's endorsement of the quality sold me. On June 10th, a crew of 7 or 8 people came at 7:15. They tore out the entire driveway and sidewalk in a couple of hours. They poured and finished the entire job by 4:00 PM. We were impressed with the crew that did the work. They were polite and professional the entire time. Entire experience was a solid mark of "A"
