    CGS Waterproofing
Joaquin came out to our house and did an assessment and quoted us a price. We had already had estimates from 2 other of them was Aquaguard and the other was Trotter. Both estimates were in the $3500-6000 range. Joaquin came in and offered us a viable solution to the leak for less than half of what the other companies were asking. We absolutely hired him and he did the job within the week. Afterwards I noticed there was still some water getting in and I called him and he immediately came out, assessed the issue and did another repair. From that point on we have had no issue with water coming into the basement. Ee didn't need an expensive sump pump which is what the other companies were trying to sell us. Joaquin built a dam and french drain along with coating the exterior wall with waterproof material. This alone was all we needed to alleviate our issue. Since then I have recommended CGS to several friends who have used him and been totally happy with the results. Thank goodness I found him on Angie's list. Otherwise we would have paid thousands more than necessary.

    AKME Waterproofing
I am pleased to recommend AKME and Mr. Steve Terjung to anyone in need of waterproofing work. Steves integrity is the heart and soul of his business, and you can rest assured that the meticulous attention to detail in workmanship and his honest and respectful communication will exceed your highest expectations. We had been so overwhelmed by damage caused by water intrusion in our basement and crawlspace that we were just about ready to throw in the towel. For I-dont-know-how-long, water had been dripping from the ducts and floor joists in the crawlspace and seeping in through the basement and crawlspace walls. The first thing that hit you when you walked in the kitchen door was the smell of dirt. Wet dirt. Swampy, Florida Everglades-like, ripe dirt. I procrastinated for years simply because I didnt believe anyone could ever fix it without tearing down the whole house. But as luck would have it, through a series of other life events, I found out about AKME. Besides the miraculous feat of solving our water problem, Steve and his team also installed a beautiful vapor barrier throughout the crawl space that is as pristine as a palace dinner table. Our basement and crawlspace had never been this flawless. Its truly remarkable how our home has been transformed, and all for a surprisingly manageable price. Now, when you walk in the front door, the only thing youll smell is whats for dinner. I am truly grateful to Steve Terjung for saving our home.

    Crawlspaces and More
Jim came out and reassessed the problem, developing and implementing a solution on the spot. Work is guaranteed for 20 years and I have no reason to expect Ill ever need to use that warranty. But it gives great peace of mind to have it.

    Foundation Worx
Ultimately he identified that we needed a plumber. The plumber fixed our issue the next day. But Jonathan did come back with a quote if we determined that we wanted to reroute our water lines or drainage piping. We would use him if we decide to do foundation work and any rerouting of our water main pipe or drainage pipes.

    AKME Waterproofing
Steve and his crew were fantastic, he really took the time to get the job right, price and timeline were spot on what I was quoted, no surprises at all, and a year later, my crawl space is as perfect as the day he finished, and no smell or moisture issues in the rest of my basement, which is exactly what I wanted.

    EverDry Waterproofing
Service was OK, and they got it done in time. We had to schedule a follow up service to finish up some cracks that were missed during the sealing process, and to apply sealant to our garage's connection to our driveway. The reason they're rated lower is that we weren't provided (and will not be provided) with what the sales guy promised. We were told we would get a package at the end of the service with photos of the entire process (including pics of how deep they dug around the house), and a detailed report of the work performed. The service took 4 days to complete, and on day 2 I asked how it was going. Was told it was fine, and I asked if they were taking pictures of the work. The foreman was confused, made a couple calls, and it looked like sales guy forgot to put that on the order. Unfortunately, they'd already dug out and refilled the entire foundation, so I don't know if they did what they were supposed to do. When the work was finished and I asked about the detailed report, I was sent a one-page opy of a copy of a copy of a copy form that just stated the work done, and that was it. That, and I never got the pictures of the work after day 2 that I was told were taken. Also, the cement on they laid inside my home where they jackhammered an is very uneven and bumpy. When we refinish our basement (which is why I had this service done in the first place), I'm going to have to power sand it all down so it's remotely level. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with this lack of service and coordination. Had I the chance to do this again, I would question whether this service was worth the hefty pricetag.

They are very good. I am very happy with them. The people they send know what they are doing and do a good job. They are all polite and all efficient and quick. Everything they've done, they've done well.

    AquaGuard Foundation Solutions
Found out the leakage in our basement was due to the 21-year old HVAC, not a basement wall or floor leakage. Of course, found this out after Aquaguard installed their unit and we had water leakage again in the same spot. Disappointed that Aquaguard (as the self-proclaimed southeastern expert) couldn't figure out that it could've been the HVAC causing the leak since it was only one foot away from the water spot on the floor. A waste of money. Otherwise, I assume the installation was fine.

    Trotter Company
I am not sure about the pricing. I think they may be a little on the high side but I feel like it is worth it. The quality is quite high. Responsiveness and punctuality is very good. I like these guys. The work was top rate. Very clean job site. The workers were professional and courteous.

    Trotter Co
We contacted Trotter as a second company to verify the work needed to our crawlspace and foundations. We have some step cracks in a block foundation as well as some brick cracks in the front of house brick that have been there since we moved in 15-years ago. Greg McManious came to the house and walked it with my Wife. He did not have any concerns with the foundation as this was typical of 80's construction and Georgia soils. He said I could calk the foundation cracks and watch it if it continues to separate. The crawl space encapsulation was straight forward. He felt all that was needed based on the info I provided about standing water in the crawl, was an encapsulation and dehumidifier and condensation pump. Based on our conversations, I didn't have a need to install drains around the perimeter of the crawl as I don't have water intrusion. We reviews all the work to be performed, discussed what the next step was ready to go. We got a call the next day for Jim Kitchen, Project Super, to come to the house and discuss the work and make a material list. Jim came that Saturday and he and I discussed the work and what his team would need to perform the work. We completed the documentation and I provided the payment for the 1/3 deposit (Pay with cash or check, saves you a 3% credit card charge). I was then contacted by the scheduling person who said they had an opening for Thursday the next week. Confirmed and ready to go. Oscar and his team showed up, ready to go. I showed him the crawl entrance, electric outlets and water. They went right to work removing all of the large rocks, old piping left in my crawl and just junky debris. They then spent time scraping the dirt to level out the floor as best as possible. They installed the complete encapsulation system, dehumidifier and pump. It took them about 6 hours in total which was a reasonable time to me for the work to be done. Oscar and I looked over all the work and it looked great. We reviewed the operation of the dehumidifier and provided all of the instructions and paperwork. We went inside and finalized the paperwork (Transferable Lifetime Warranty sign off and contract) and mad our final payment. We shook hands and they finished the clean up and headed out. I happend to go back in the crawl to take photos for a friend and noticed a puddle of water near the pump. The pump was not working. I quickly contacted Jim via cell and text as well as the main office. They managed to get a hold of Oscar and told him to get another pump and return right away. I turned off the Dehumidifier so it would not make anymore water. They arrived back about 20 minutes later with new pump in hand and towels to clean up the water. They swapped out the faulty pump and cleaned up and was 100% done. From the first call to the last hand shake, Trotter Co, is one that I am very happy I selected! Everybody is very friendly, all of the personnel I encountered both on the phone and in person. From the first meeting to the last, professional is the only way to describe them. Price was right what I expected for the work completed and I know they will stand behind all of the work they performed. Everybody told me to call them back if there is anything wrong with anything. Again, I am very happy I decided to go with Trotter Co. for my crawl space encapsulation. Family owned company for generations. The current generation is doing a great job in my opinion!!
