  • After we moved, we called to have our Direct TV moved to our new location. They offered us Wild Blue/Exede internet - high speed internet; since we did not have internet service yet, we opted in with them offering a discounted bundle package. FIrst of all, there was no way the price we paid every month was a discount. If people pay more than that for a non-discount package, they are getting even more ripped off. 
    After initial set-up by an independent contractor, an employee of Wild Blue/Exede came out to check the dish and connections. He asked if we had any concerns. I told him that it was very slow. He said he would send someone out to check it because it was hooked up incorrectly. He did send someone out...the same people who hooked it up to start with. They checked everything and fiddled around for a few minutes and left. No change in speed.
    We called several times about the slow speed and how it would continually get slower and slower, almost daily. Once, they offered us a free month of service. That would have been a great fix, if we could have used it to begin with!!
    We had a few storms and some bad weather, and service quit working altogether (also got out Direct TV dish). Called customer service to see if they could tell us something to do over the phone, or if they could check it on their end. The lady was very nice and told us that someone would have to come out to check it. (This was on a Saturday afternoon.) No problem with that....however, the SOONEST someone could come out was the following FRIDAY...yes, a week of no service! Called several days in a row to see if possibly someone could come sooner. (We know that people in our area who work for Wild Blue/Exede/Direct TV - in fact the people who set it up live only about five miles away.) Still could get no one any sooner. And, by the way, they CHARGE to fix their own equipment. They did not offer any credit for loss of service. I had to almost demand it. I told them that there was no way I was going to pay for a week of service that we could not use; at that point we were told we could get a credit.
    When the guy came to fix the Direct TV, he looked at the internet too. He had both fixed within 15 minutes! And NO CHARGE! It was a simple little adjustment of the dish since the storm moved it.
    We disconnected service about a week later.

  • They knocked themselves out and did such a great job! I cannot tell you how nice they are! They are a family business and did even better than we were expecting! They were right on time and we were very pleased. I cannot think of a single complaint from my experience!
